I called to make an appointment for my cat. The person who answered the phone told me that she was new and didn't know how to do that. She told me to call back when Lauren was there but don't call in Thursday. I asked her if they would please call me back. She said sure. I never heard from them again.
About 1 1/2 yr ago, I tried calling for an appointment. The woman who answered the phone was very unfriendly to me and told me that she couldn't get me an appointment for 3-4 months. I went elsewhere.
Seems to me that this business does not care about getting business or being accommodating to clients.
I won't be calling again!

We love bringing our pets to Amclare. Dr. Olson is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain things to us in a way that is easy to understand. The entire staff is really friendly and helpful, and I am glad to have a vet we can trust so much to help take care of our fur family. The prices are very reasonable, and I would without a doubt recommend Amclare to everyone!

Dr. Olsen and his staff are phenomenal. Each of them has a love for animals that engenders trust in their care of your fur family. Dr. Olsen spends time explaining every recommendation and symptom and explains all treatment options and answers all of my numerous questions. He calls us personally to discuss test results. His staff call back when they say they will, call to check on our pets after we bring them in for an issue and wait on all customers in a pleasant and sensitive manner. Fees are explained before and after procedures and for regular visits. They are willing to work with us to help us save money on prescriptions and give practical advice to help people on a budget. We have been patients for 11 years and have trusted 3 dogs and 4 cats to their care. I am willing to answer questions about the practice and will answer based on our experience. This review is unsolicited.

The staff is polite and calm no matter the situation and full of compassion. Dr. Olsen is wonderful with all of the animals and has provided excellent care and goes above and beyond to do the most for your animal.

And his prices are better than other vets in the area!The staff is great and they always call to check up on the doggies after a visit. They really care about your animals!

None better!! We brought our dog there for almost 14 years. Dr. Olson always gave thorough & compassionate information. He would present pros & cons for different actions and then let you decide without judgement which way to go. The entire staff is sweet, caring and helpful. We put our Casey down last week & to the end I knew they were only a call away. We are still getting over our heartbreak & don't know if or when we will get another dog, but won't go anywhere else when we do.

As my family and I prepare to leave the Buffalo area, my first priority is finding a new veterinarian in our new town. I can only hope we find someone just like Dr. Olson and his incredible team at Amclare. They saw us through our yellow lab's arthritis and eventual passing, our cat's multiple issues, including diabetes, and always with the ultimate professionalism and caring.

We came to Amclare after I brought my Girl Scout Troop for a visit (another Mom arranged it). I was ready to get another vet when I was charged $3.00 for a SAMPLE of toothpaste by my other vet.The doctor is very caring, and the staff is friendly. They charge fairly, and the facility is always clean. When our dog of 14 years passed, they sent a card. We will soon get another puppy, and we will definitely be back.

As my family and I prepare to leave the Buffalo area, my first priority is finding a new veterinarian in our new town. I can only hope we find someone just like Dr. Olson and his incredible team at Amclare.
