We are new to the area & have 3 shih tzu's. Several ppl have recommended Villageway Vets so I called to set up appointment cause my dogs had kennel cough. The staff was so helpful & kind to answer questions. Dr. Arfmann reviewed all records from our former vet to make sure he was up to date. Then did check up to determine what meds they needed and explained things & answered any questions I had. He was very pleasant so I am very happy we have a new vet for our fur babies🥰

The receptionist is always friendly and greets you with a smile when you first come through the door. The staff are very interested in your pet and go out of their way to comfort your pet through any ordeal. The doctors are professional and very gentle with your pet as well. I have never had a negative experience here even through the loss of a cat and a dog over the years they were very sympathetic and comforting through the process.

The veterinarians and support staff are very friendly and helpful here. They are patient enough to answer all your questions and also patient with your pet. My sweet, precious dog was making a rather large nuisance of himself in the waiting area. One of the receptionists came and took him to "work" with her. He was his usual charming self and calmed right down. They all seem to work together for you and your "babies".

My experience here has been up and down and more down the past two years than up. While their prices may be cheaper than other vet offices they do a lot of upselling for unnecessary procedures that customers need to be wary of. There have been a couple of times where the people I spoke to on the phone flat out lied to me and a couple other times the person I spoke with was totally incompetent. The first couple years my experience there was a total five star experience, but the past couple years not so much. The vet doctors themselves are outstanding, but their customer service, in my opinion, has much to be desired, particularly when it comes to accurately explaining the services that are necessary, unnecessary, and then accurately recording what services are to be performed during the scheduled visit.

The lady at the reception / front desk was, how to say it, unpleasant, at it's best. But once we actually went inside and met Diane and Dr. Arfmann (hopefully I'm not destroying their names by the I spell them) was honestly a pleasure. They explained everything very clear, took their time, were honest and definitely went the extra mile to help us. Besides, the prices are, in my opinion, not bad at all. Will be using their services to care for our pets. We use to take our pets to another one (Animal Hospital of East Davie) not so far from them. The only thing I regret is not taking them before to Village Way Veterinary.

In addition, their professionalism, patience , and sincerity was a great comfort to us. They were very thorough and explained each procedure so that we were able to make informed decisions. Over the past 15 years, we have been to nearly every vet hospital in our area.. however, the surgical skill of Dr. Beeson, in our opinion, is by far the best!

We just had to make the very hard decision to have our 3 year old cat put to sleep, due to a bizarre illness that ravaged him for almost 2 months. Dr. Beeson's tireless efforts at diagnosing and treating our Khetty Roo, his patience in dealing with me (l was a basket case) and his compassion and genuine care for our cat were nothing short of amazing. He went above and beyond for us and l will never forget that. I appreciate him and others at Village Way who cared for Khetty during this horrible time. We are so sad but feel so blessed for the great care we all received.

They cared for our first 2 schnauzers until they passed away. One lived to 16 years of age. They have been caring for our current schnauzers since they joined our family six years ago. Village Way doctors and staff are all professional and friendly. I would highly recommend taking your furry family members to Village Way!

My standard poodle is 13 years old...my cat is also 13 years old. Both have received excellent care. When Dr Beeson discovered the tumor he thought was benign that he removed from my dog came back cancerous...he reoperated immediately and didn't charge for the 2nd operation. That was 8 years ago and she is healthy and happy. Sara is the greatest groomer and I've never found razor burns or cuts on my standard poodle...which is almost impossible with her thick nappy coat.

Though not overly empathetic, the staff was very nice and handled the people part well. A week or so ago I received a condolence note about my sweet kitty girl that passed away. It didn't take much effort, but it sold me on continuing to use Village Way.

My dog has been getting groomed at Village Way for a couple of years. We've been satisfied, but not overly happy with our experience. It's hard to find groomers for large breed dogs, so we've stuck with Village Way. Last week my dog came home with fleas after getting his hair cut. I understand that this could happen and wasn't blaming them. I did call to ask about buying Frontline and to make them aware of their flea problem. After telling the lady answering the phone, I didn't even get a simple ""I'm Sorry"". Instead I got a lecture about how I should be using a preventative to keep him from getting fleas. Our two dogs and two cats have not had fleas all year and she wants to lecture me about my dog getting fleas in their office. Needless to say, we will not being buying our Frontline there and he will not go back their to get groomed. All four of our animals go to the vet at Valley Animal Clinic and love the people and the staff. Unfortunately, they don't do grooming. Again, I understand that things like this happen, but what has happened to customer service. A simple, I'm sorry would have been sufficient.

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Beeson for over 20 years. Although we no longer live in the immediate area, we choose to drive the extra miles because of the quality care and experience provided by Dr. Beeson and his staff. We are a large multipet family with several of our furry family members being rescued and adopted. The staff at Village Way has always gone out of their way to help us with the issues that arise when caring for abused, mistreated dogs and cats. We also realize that as our pets age and the associated infirmities begin to set in, it is important to have a physcian and facility that can meet their needs. As advanced health care provides ourselves, we have always felt that our aging pets have recieved that most compassionate and comprehensive care available in this area at Village Way. The rates at the this hospital are more than reasonable. With over 10 dogs and cats, 4 which are geriatric, we have to get alot of vaccines, dental work, grooming, etc. I would highly recommend Village Way and its staff to provide excellent, comprehensive care for all pets.

My experience here has been up and down and more down the past two years than up. While their prices may be cheaper than other vet offices they do a lot of upselling for unnecessary procedures that customers need to be wary of. There have been a couple of times where the people I spoke to on the phone flat out lied to me and a couple other times the person I spoke with was totally incompetent. The first couple years my experience there was a total five star experience, but the past couple years not so much. The vet doctors themselves are outstanding, but their customer service, in my opinion, has much to be desired, particularly when it comes to accurately explaining the services that are necessary, unnecessary, and then accurately recording what services are to be performed during the scheduled visit.

The lady at the reception / front desk was, how to say it, unpleasant, at it's best. But once we actually went inside and met Diane and Dr. Arfmann (hopefully I'm not destroying their names by the I spell them) was honestly a pleasure. They explained everything very clear, took their time, were honest and definitely went the extra mile to help us. Besides, the prices are, in my opinion, not bad at all. Will be using their services to care for our pets. We use to take our pets to another one (Animal Hospital of East Davie) not so far from them. The only thing I regret is not taking them before to Village Way Veterinary.

In addition, their professionalism, patience , and sincerity was a great comfort to us. They were very thorough and explained each procedure so that we were able to make informed decisions. Over the past 15 years, we have been to nearly every vet hospital in our area.. however, the surgical skill of Dr. Beeson, in our opinion, is by far the best!

We just had to make the very hard decision to have our 3 year old cat put to sleep, due to a bizarre illness that ravaged him for almost 2 months. Dr. Beeson's tireless efforts at diagnosing and treating our Khetty Roo, his patience in dealing with me (l was a basket case) and his compassion and genuine care for our cat were nothing short of amazing. He went above and beyond for us and l will never forget that. I appreciate him and others at Village Way who cared for Khetty during this horrible time. We are so sad but feel so blessed for the great care we all received.

From the first time we contacted them until the day we pick her up after surgery everything was great. They were very compassionate and I know that they genuinely cared about our dog while he was there. A heartfelt THANKS too the whole staff.

I have also had the pleasure of taking my pets to Dr. Arfman and Dr. Hutchinson and they are exceptional as well. My standard poodle is 13 years old...my cat is also 13 years old. Both have received excellent care. When Dr Beeson discovered the tumor he thought was benign that he removed from my dog came back cancerous...he reoperated immediately and didn't charge for the 2nd operation. That was 8 years ago and she is healthy and happy. Sara is the greatest groomer and I've never found razor burns or cuts on my standard poodle...which is almost impossible with her thick nappy coat.

I took in one of my cats a few months ago because she had been acting very strangely. To make a long and sad story short, she had cancer and needed to be put down. Though not overly empathetic, the staff was very nice and handled the people part well. A week or so ago I received a condolence note about my sweet kitty girl that passed away. It didn't take much effort, but it sold me on continuing to use Village Way.

My dog has been getting groomed at Village Way for a couple of years. We've been satisfied, but not overly happy with our experience. It's hard to find groomers for large breed dogs, so we've stuck with Village Way. Last week my dog came home with fleas after getting his hair cut. I understand that this could happen and wasn't blaming them. I did call to ask about buying Frontline and to make them aware of their flea problem. After telling the lady answering the phone, I didn't even get a simple ""I'm Sorry"". Instead I got a lecture about how I should be using a preventative to keep him from getting fleas. Our two dogs and two cats have not had fleas all year and she wants to lecture me about my dog getting fleas in their office. Needless to say, we will not being buying our Frontline there and he will not go back their to get groomed. All four of our animals go to the vet at Valley Animal Clinic and love the people and the staff. Unfortunately, they don't do grooming. Again, I understand that things like this happen, but what has happened to customer service. A simple, I'm sorry would have been sufficient.

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Beeson for over 20 years. Although we no longer live in the immediate area, we choose to drive the extra miles because of the quality care and experience provided by Dr. Beeson and his staff. We are a large multipet family with several of our furry family members being rescued and adopted. The staff at Village Way has always gone out of their way to help us with the issues that arise when caring for abused, mistreated dogs and cats. We also realize that as our pets age and the associated infirmities begin to set in, it is important to have a physcian and facility that can meet their needs. As advanced health care provides ourselves, we have always felt that our aging pets have recieved that most compassionate and comprehensive care available in this area at Village Way. The rates at the this hospital are more than reasonable. With over 10 dogs and cats, 4 which are geriatric, we have to get alot of vaccines, dental work, grooming, etc. I would highly recommend Village Way and its staff to provide excellent, comprehensive care for all pets.
