After establishing my pet at All Four Paws I actually worked a year in another vet hospital, and still kept my own pet at All Four Paws because that was how much I loved the care and treatment of Dr. Emily Dorsett. She takes such good care of my puppy Eli and makes him feel comfortable when he comes in because she knows he's anxious about coming into the doctor's office. She is so welcoming and addresses any and ever concern I may have. She doesn't try and sell you on services like other places, she simply just educates you on proper care. Just moved to the area, my friend suggested All 4 Paws Animal Hospital for a vet. I was able to schedule an appointment online. The office was clean and the staff was very friendly. The Dr. did a thorough check up on my dog. I was provided more than one option with cost up front concerning treatment for my dog. Before we left, a tech asked if I would like a tour of facilities. She showed me all the areas my dog would be treated if needed anything needed to be done. Where she would be housed if she had to stay to be observed after treatment, the lab area, and more. My two dogs have been patients of Dr. D for nearly a year.  I first brought them to All 4 Paws when one of my dogs was bitten by a snake and was in bad shape.  Dr. D treated him and followed him closely and he was back to normal in less than a month.  The staff here is always friendly and wonderful to work with.  What I also love is that I am consistently given multiple treatment options and the pros and cons of each are explained to me.  The cost of treatment is reasonable, as well. I LOVE this vet. I have two rabbits and Dr J. is very knowledgeable and super  helpful, offering great advice and support. They are accommodating with appointment times and always have quick and SUPER friendly service. You can also tell that they love animals and want to help you take the best care of them. Especially having two rabbits, it's nice knowing that Dr. J. KNOWS what she's doing, you can really tell she has had a lot of experience. I have some concerns about the validity of the fecal tests.  My puppy kept testing positive for hookworms.  The test was positive for hookworms in her DNA.  She was finally diagnosed with Larval Leak Syndrome.  I spent $250 on fecal tests and meds. After the Larval Leak Syndrome diagnosis, I took her fecal sample to a different vet.  The tests results were negative for hookworms.  If you have an issue with worms, get a second opinion before spending a lot of money on tests and meds.  I think that All 4 Paws is using a test that is more sensitive than most vets use.  On a positive note, the staff is friendly and enthusiastic. I had an amazing experience at All 4 Paws. Everything and every staff member from check in to check out were friendly and welcoming. I have taken both of my cats there this week and they did an excellent job handling them, even the one who was pretty feisty. I saw both Dr. D and Dr. J and couldn't have asked for better service. So impressed with my 1st visit with my dog Dusty that I made an appointment for our other dog, Princess while I was checking out. The staff is so kind and fast and I even got a tour of the facility which is top notch. Dr. Jerauld took her time to explain supplements for Dusty's arthritis and a new diet for him and even recommended a groomer. Dr. D and the staff have taken such great care of Rosie over the last year. We sprung Rosie from an ill-run rescue organization last summer and within weeks, All 4 Paws had her on the mend treating her heartworms, earmites, infected spay incision, sore paws and broken tooth just to name a few of her initial ailments. At about 4 years old and sick, many families passed her over but we knew right away she would be a great fit for our family and are grateful for a neighbor's recommendation of All 4 Paws. I've recently moved to the area from CA where I was using a VCA vet.  After only one appointment at All 4 Paws,  I see what I've been missing in quality vet care for so many years!  VCA would always try to up sell and pressure me into unnecessary procedures/vaccinations, had ridiculous wait times even when I had appointments,  and gave substandard care overall.   At All 4 Paws they went over my cats' prior records with me very carefully and we discussed the vaccinations I didn't feel comfortable with. Dr. Jerauld gave the BEST wellness exam I've ever seen in my 16yrs of owning cats.  She was incredibly thorough and talked out loud explaining her observations as she did the exam.  She also explained that they only charge the exam fee once and if I have follow up issues, I could bring them in to discuss without paying the exam fee.  VCA would charge an exam fee every single visit,  no matter how many times I came in for the same issue. My wife and I love this vet! Everyone on staff is very kind, friendly, and loves our boxer, Zeus. We also have a 9 year old basset-beagle mix, Maggie. We have had some really bad experiences with vets in the past so I was nervous when we moved to the area, found a stray cat we wanted to keep, and needed a vet to take a look at her. I have never been more pleasantly surprised! We have worked extensively with Dr. J for our three cats (one of whom we adopted from All 4 Paws) and it has been awesome. We just moved to Apex this year and it became time for one of my dogs to get her rabies and distemper. All 4 Paws was a great find, and even better, it's so close to my house that I could walk there. Moving so much, I've been to a few vets now and I've become pretty picky about who I take my furbabies to, but everyone here was awesome. They were friendly from the moment I walked in and it sounded like there was a sick cat before me, so they were running behind. But they told me right away and explained that they needed to make sure to adequately clean the rooms. In the meanwhile, they were grabbing my dog's history from our previous vet.Once I was brought back, the vet tech did all the vitals and questioning and my dog LOVED her. Then, when the vet arrived, we went through all the vaccinations that needed to be updated and decided on just 2 that were necessary at the time as we weren't planning to put our dog into daycare or boarding anytime soon.While we were waiting for my dog's tests to complete, I was given a tour of the entire office and was even able to see the surgery suite! It was great seeing their setup. Also, what's even better is that they didn't force me to buy anything. I've been to places where they push insurance, daycare/petsitting places, specific meds....but they asked if I wanted to change anything and when I didn't, they didn't push anything. TL;DR: All 4 Paws is a great place to go for your furbabies. They'll receive lots of love and you'll get the peace of mind that they're being well taken care of. Definitely recommend. Read Less

The first time we met Dr J was right after we moved to NC, when we asked her to assess our very beloved, but very ailing and very aged dog Pele. Dr J teared up as she softly told us that due to Pele's diminshed quality of life and probably pain, in her opinion, it was time to let Pele go. She maintained the highest level of professionalisn while also being so deeply present and compassionate to us and a dog she had just met, which was just what we and Pele needed. Just recently one of our other dogs, a younger senior, had a large benign fatty tumor removed and some much needed dental work. Because of her age, we were anxious about having her go under and again, greatly appreciated Dr J's level of preofessionalism, her thorough prepping of us and our sweet Georgia for her surgery and after care and we are most happy that within 24 hours of this major surgery, our dog is feeling and looking great! 5 Stars only because there aren't 6 available!Read Less

We've been meaning to switch vets after a bad experience but as our dogs didn't need their annual shots for another 8-9 months it wasn't a priority to find a new place. At 4pm on Friday I noticed our chihuahua's legs were all red and itchy from allergies....did a quick Google search, called at 4:02 to see if they had any openings but they were booked. The receptionist asked me to hold and came back and said they do take 'walk-ins' but warned me to expect to wait. Got there around 4:15 and waited a total of 5 minutes to be squeezed in! The service is great, and the prices are fairly reasonable. The staff cares about you AND your pet, which seems hard to come by now days. They don't seem money-oriented and emphasize meeting the needs of the pet. All 4 Paws has been a great find after we recently moved to the area. We had such a great vet in Charlotte and I shopped around a bit here before finding this vet. I had been in a few times just to have a regular gland cleaning for my hound mix, nothing major. Until this week. My pup has to have surgery for her teeth after a little accident and I called Monday morning and was able to get in a couple of hours later. They examined her and provided several quotes and recommendations that were helpful and put me at ease. After we left, Dr. J called as promised with another quote and followed up with an email. How helpful to have everything in writing - the meds, recommendations and overall summary of the visit. The staff is always friendly, and the office is very clean. My dog isn't one to get nervous going to the vet and loves the friendly attention here. The only words that come to mind is customer service!! Amazing customer service. I have been in the Sale industry for over eight years and know great service when i receive it. Three Puppies showed up at our work and there was no sign of mother. As an animal lover that grow up on a farm I could not just walk away. I knew they needed to be checked out, have their first shots, and be de-wormed. After calling several other places I called All 4 Paws. From the first hello, they where one of the most friendliness, compassionate, and understanding companies i have ever had the pleasure dealing with. Disclaimer: I do know Dr. J and vet tech, Nyssa, personally...but when we adopted our dog I knew taking him to All 4 Paws would put him in the best possible hands!We adopted from the SPCA of Wake County over the weekend and I wanted to get our boy checked out for some peace of mind (oh, and the SPCA makes you). I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment that same evening. They're open til 7p on Mondays, which is really helpful for people who work full time.I had a little trouble finding the hospital; it's tucked in the same strip as the Apex Triangle Orthopaedics, so look for the big green triangle and you've also found All 4 Paws. The hospital is BRAND new so everything is beautiful, clean and bright. I don't know much about vet technology, but the equipment seems pretty spiffy. I was given a tour when I first walked in and got to check out the radiology room, surgery suite and exam rooms. They have cat-specific exam rooms for maximum kitty comfort and they can do blood work in-house in 20 minutes - no waiting! They also have a full pharmacy, so no extra trips to figure out where to get your pet's pills. Color me impressed ;-)My pup didn't love being examined, but I was very comfortable watching the process and talking with the staff about my questions/concerns. Dr. J gave me all my pricing info in the exam room, discussed my options for heartworm and flea/tick care and we were in and out in an hour. All 4 Paws offers VetSource, which is a great way to get your monthly dog needs through the mail.If you're looking for a new vet, or you've just adopted a new pet, this is a great local veterinary hospital with a great, caring staff and everything you could ever want in pet care.
