WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. What most people want from the veterinarian is compassionate care. If that is what you are looking for, this is NOT the practice that you want to use.
When my dog started having breathing problems, I called the vet as soon as they opened. I was told that the vets were not in yet and to call back in 30 minutes. I called back 45 minutes later and was told that they had not had a chance to talk to the vet yet, but they would call me back. I waited over an hour and never received a call back.
I called again and was told to take my dog to another vet for an examination. My dog was later diagnosed with a terminal illness and we worked with a hospice vet.
After my dog passed away, we sent her ashes to this practice, as is customary. However, they refused to accept her ashes. The hospice vet was shocked, as she had never had a patient's ashes refused by their regular vet before.
I was disappointed with the lack of care and compassion that this practice showed us. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Things started well with Dr. Grossi giving good care to my 14 year old lab mix, but then when it came time to fill prescriptions they refused to cooperate with my online pharmacy. Two ladies in the office refused to send an email to the pharmacy confirming the prescription, insisting that it was more efficient for me to send a hard copy via US mail as opposed to them typing a few letters and clicking the mouse a couple of times. So my elderly dog will be without her pain medicine for a few days and I'll never come back to Peak Plaza. Just think if your doctor's office wouldn't call in a prescription for you and made you deliver a hard copy to the pharmacy instead! I still can't believe it. I didn't know the extra markup in pet drugs was that important to a vet's bottom line until today.

Animal Hospital of Peak Plaza is the BEST!!! Last week I took my cat, Munch to the emergency vet on Wednesday night, but Thursday he still wasn't back to normal, they managed to squeeze Munch in despite their full schedule for 3 different visits (Thursday, Friday and Tuesday). During all this they called to check on him multiple times and today the vet called to follow up after Munch started eating again 2 days ago. I can't say enough how great they are. It is obvious that everyone there loves animals. Thank you Dr. Grossi and Dr.Bailey and all your staff.

Give me quality, compassionate service and that's it. I've been coming here about a decade. My dog is on the anxious side, but they know just how to deal with her. They don't force solutions on you, its always a discussion with options. I appreciate the candor and lack of shame/pressure tactics.

When we adopted our dog from a rescue just over a year ago, I did a lot of internet homework to try to find a quality vet with fair pricing. I am so happy in choosing Animal Hospital of Peak Plaza! We primarily see Dr. Bailey but Dr. Warner has given our dog excellent care as well. The staff is excellent! They are friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Of course being new dog owners, we have called numerous times when issues arise and they are great over the phone. They have advised us when to bring our dog in for exam and when to keep him at home. When prescribing medicine or food, I have found their prices competitive with online stores plus I get to have it immediately with no waiting. The office is run very efficiently. I have never waited more than 5 minutes before being taken to our own room and we even pay in the room so when we leave that room we can just keep walking right out of the whole place. This is very good for our dog who either charges at or runs away from every dog he sees!When we do have issues, I have found the veterinarians to be measured in their recommendations. They don't just run a bunch of expensive labs and tests but talk through the possibilities and tend try the simpler methods first. They are great at fully communicating theirs thoughts, concerns, possible actions and consequences, etc. Plus, they are fantastic at checking in on our dog when he's been sick. It definitely helps to ease my worries!I fully recommend them to any pet owners!

This office. I can't express how wonderful they are. We met Dr. Warner and Tracy helped us. I had brought my kitten Meredith there who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive Feline Leukemia. Unfortunately, within a few days of our first visit. We came back and Meredith was not going to make it so she was put to sleep. It was the worst most heart wrenching thing I've ever gone through. I can't explain how heartbroken I still am over it all. Dr. Warner and Tracy were so sweet and gentle with Meredith and so kind to us. I know we kept them there late that day as we cried and cried in the room with Meredith. They didn't say anything. They let us cry as long as we needed. The other day I receive a card from them with handwritten notes. I can't explain what that meant to me. I'll definitely be bringing my other cat to their office from now on. Such an amazing team. Thank you all for helping us and being there for us through everything.

We began taking our dog, Sophie, to Dr. Warner about six months ago when it was becoming obvious that her advanced years were making decisions about her care more complicated. Dr. Warner kindly and compassionately cared for Sophie and guided us as we made decisions during the last six months of her life. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Warner€s competence, the care she gave Sophie, and the gentle way she helped us made decisions. From tiny poodles with spinal deformities/issues to senior rescues whom he humanely helped pass over the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Thomkins who gave Benji (17 year old Shih-Tzu - on death row from Greenville, SC animal shelter) half blind/deaf relief from bladder stone surgery. Dr. Warner for saving (amputating) a feral cat whose leg was trapped with a string tightly wound around his leg and was rotting away. ...... I could go on and on but will stop with simply rating this group of vets as EXCELLENT.

The care that Dr. Warner and Dr. Bailey have shown our Black Lab has been exceptional, which is why I believe Braxton is still going strong after 13+ years! Three years ago Braxton tore the ligaments in his knee. Dr. Bailey did the surgery and Braxton was running around like a puppy in no time! Dr. Warner is so compassionate and caring...Braxton loves her! Neither Dr. Warner nor Dr. Bailey will ever do anything unnecessary, which I can't say about our last vet. Luckily we came to Animal Hospital of Peak Plaza for a second opinion and found out we did not need to do the surgery our former vet had recommended. I know I can trust the vets of Animal Hospital of Peak Plaza to do the right thing for Braxton.

I recently took my dog Zoey to see Dr. Warner first for some vaccines and then again for an eye problem. The clinic staff welcomed both her and me warmly when we arrived and helped her feel comfortable. My dog is a rescue and can be skittish and fearful when it comes to going to the vets office but she did really well with Dr. Warner. Dr. Warner was very gentle, and spoke kindly to Zoey each time. I felt she took her time to make a diagnosis and wasnt rushed like some vets can be. The clinic was clean and relaxed. I highly recommend this vet hospital to anyone looking for a very knowledgeable, caring, calm vet in Apex or Cary.

Dr. Tompkins and the staff were amazing. We brought our kitty in. He had a huge abscess on his jaw. Dr. Tompkins saw him, worked him up, and took care of him that day. We decided to leave him with the clinic because we did not want to deal with an oozing drain tube in the cyst as well as a newborn and toddler. The staff was excellent and took great care of our kitty. Highly recommend.

The care and compassion that Dr's Bailey and Warner show is just Fantastic. We could not be any happier with our choice for a Veterinary Clinic. We currently have two dogs under their care that are thriving and very healthy. We have also had Dr. Bailey work with us on the end of life for another pet, and even though we still mourn the loss of our dog, we truly are grateful for the kindness, compassion, and professional care that this clinic expressed to our family. You cannot go wrong with this choice.

This is my first Yelp review and I can't think of a better business to give it to. We recently had to put our 13 year old kitty,Mojo, to sleep due to a number of medical reasons. Everyone here was so great and sympathetic. Dr. Tomkins was wonderful with him and talked with us about what was happening and she made us feel like she had known Mojo his whole life.It's never easy saying goodbye to a family pet but everyone here made it a little less painful.

Very pleased with the service I've gotten at the Animal Hospital of Peak Plaza. They keep the clinic very clean and the staff is friendly to me and my dog. Dr. Warner does a great job of analyzing unique aspects of my pet's lifestyle and advising me on the proper preventative care, making sure I am providing my dog with the most effective health plan while keeping it within my budget. I feel confident trusting my pet's long term care to Dr. Warner and her staff and after nearly 20 years owning pets, have had hands down the best experience coming here.

After wasting a lot of money at Banfield in PetSmart (please refer to my other review), we came here instead on the recommendation of a neighbor. We were able to bring our cat here right after we called because of the urgency of his situation. Janine at the front desk is very friendly. Dr. Warner is knowledgeable and helpful. She was very reassuring and we felt good leaving our cat here. Just a few hours after dropping him off, we were relieved to find she had treated him a thousand times better than Banfield at half the price! It is obvious that all the staff here are very caring, and you can trust they are willing to work within your budget instead of trying to make a ton of money off of you. I will be recommending them to all of my friends! Thank you so much to all the staff and especially Dr. Warner for caring for my cat.

Moved to the area a little over a year ago and have searched for a vet that cares more for my animal than my wallet. I tried three offices with disappointing results and I am not that picky really. Is it too much to ask for the vet to know enough to diagnose the issue without charging $1500 first? First vet billed me $542 and couldn’t figure out issue. Next vet charged $300 as a starting point to just walk an animal in the door. Third vet finally diagnosed issue and then charged me another $500 to put my dog down. I was heartbroken and thought I would never get another animal after that experience. I couldn’t stand the loss and eventually got another pup. Talked to many friends and colleges this time and several recommended Dr. Bailey. I took my pup in for shots and checkup and WoW! Is all I can say! He actually got on the floor with my pup and cuddled with her and made her very comfortable before administering a shot and checking her teeth. The whole experience was outstanding but then I thought OK, wait til you see the bill for this level of service! What a shock! I got the bill and it was almost 1/5 what all the others charged. I have since been back and the service and cost remains consistently stellar. I’m a very happy customer and now have two pups. They both love Dr. Bailey!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. What most people want from the veterinarian is compassionate care. If that is what you are looking for, this is NOT the practice that you want to use.
When my dog started having breathing problems, I called the vet as soon as they opened. I was told that the vets were not in yet and to call back in 30 minutes. I called back 45 minutes later and was told that they had not had a chance to talk to the vet yet, but they would call me back. I waited over an hour and never received a call back.
I called again and was told to take my dog to another vet for an examination. My dog was later diagnosed with a terminal illness and we worked with a hospice vet.
After my dog passed away, we sent her ashes to this practice, as is customary. However, they refused to accept her ashes. The hospice vet was shocked, as she had never had a patient's ashes refused by their regular vet before.
I was disappointed with the lack of care and compassion that this practice showed us. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Things started well with Dr. Grossi giving good care to my 14 year old lab mix, but then when it came time to fill prescriptions they refused to cooperate with my online pharmacy. Two ladies in the office refused to send an email to the pharmacy confirming the prescription, insisting that it was more efficient for me to send a hard copy via US mail as opposed to them typing a few letters and clicking the mouse a couple of times. So my elderly dog will be without her pain medicine for a few days and I'll never come back to Peak Plaza. Just think if your doctor's office wouldn't call in a prescription for you and made you deliver a hard copy to the pharmacy instead! I still can't believe it. I didn't know the extra markup in pet drugs was that important to a vet's bottom line until today.

Animal Hospital of Peak Plaza is the BEST!!! Last week I took my cat, Munch to the emergency vet on Wednesday night, but Thursday he still wasn't back to normal, they managed to squeeze Munch in despite their full schedule for 3 different visits (Thursday, Friday and Tuesday). During all this they called to check on him multiple times and today the vet called to follow up after Munch started eating again 2 days ago. I can't say enough how great they are. It is obvious that everyone there loves animals. Thank you Dr. Grossi and Dr.Bailey and all your staff.

Give me quality, compassionate service and that's it. I've been coming here about a decade. My dog is on the anxious side, but they know just how to deal with her. They don't force solutions on you, its always a discussion with options. I appreciate the candor and lack of shame/pressure tactics.

When we adopted our dog from a rescue just over a year ago, I did a lot of internet homework to try to find a quality vet with fair pricing. I am so happy in choosing Animal Hospital of Peak Plaza! We primarily see Dr. Bailey but Dr. Warner has given our dog excellent care as well. The staff is excellent! They are friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Of course being new dog owners, we have called numerous times when issues arise and they are great over the phone. They have advised us when to bring our dog in for exam and when to keep him at home. When prescribing medicine or food, I have found their prices competitive with online stores plus I get to have it immediately with no waiting. The office is run very efficiently. I have never waited more than 5 minutes before being taken to our own room and we even pay in the room so when we leave that room we can just keep walking right out of the whole place. This is very good for our dog who either charges at or runs away from every dog he sees!When we do have issues, I have found the veterinarians to be measured in their recommendations. They don't just run a bunch of expensive labs and tests but talk through the possibilities and tend try the simpler methods first. They are great at fully communicating theirs thoughts, concerns, possible actions and consequences, etc. Plus, they are fantastic at checking in on our dog when he's been sick. It definitely helps to ease my worries!I fully recommend them to any pet owners!

This office. I can't express how wonderful they are. We met Dr. Warner and Tracy helped us. I had brought my kitten Meredith there who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive Feline Leukemia. Unfortunately, within a few days of our first visit. We came back and Meredith was not going to make it so she was put to sleep. It was the worst most heart wrenching thing I've ever gone through. I can't explain how heartbroken I still am over it all. Dr. Warner and Tracy were so sweet and gentle with Meredith and so kind to us. I know we kept them there late that day as we cried and cried in the room with Meredith. They didn't say anything. They let us cry as long as we needed. The other day I receive a card from them with handwritten notes. I can't explain what that meant to me. I'll definitely be bringing my other cat to their office from now on. Such an amazing team. Thank you all for helping us and being there for us through everything.

We began taking our dog, Sophie, to Dr. Warner about six months ago when it was becoming obvious that her advanced years were making decisions about her care more complicated. Dr. Warner kindly and compassionately cared for Sophie and guided us as we made decisions during the last six months of her life. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Warner€s competence, the care she gave Sophie, and the gentle way she helped us made decisions. From tiny poodles with spinal deformities/issues to senior rescues whom he humanely helped pass over the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Thomkins who gave Benji (17 year old Shih-Tzu - on death row from Greenville, SC animal shelter) half blind/deaf relief from bladder stone surgery. Dr. Warner for saving (amputating) a feral cat whose leg was trapped with a string tightly wound around his leg and was rotting away. ...... Three years ago Braxton tore the ligaments in his knee. Dr. Bailey did the surgery and Braxton was running around like a puppy in no time! Dr. Warner is so compassionate and caring...Braxton loves her! Neither Dr. Warner nor Dr. Bailey will ever do anything unnecessary, which I can't say about our last vet. Luckily we came to Animal Hospital of Peak Plaza for a second opinion and found out we did not need to do the surgery our former vet had recommended. I know I can trust the vets of Animal Hospital of Peak Plaza to do the right thing for Braxton.

I recently took my dog Zoey to see Dr. Warner first for some vaccines and then again for an eye problem. The clinic staff welcomed both her and me warmly when we arrived and helped her feel comfortable. My dog is a rescue and can be skittish and fearful when it comes to going to the vets office but she did really well with Dr. Warner. Dr. Warner was very gentle, and spoke kindly to Zoey each time. I felt she took her time to make a diagnosis and wasnt rushed like some vets can be. The clinic was clean and relaxed. I highly recommend this vet hospital to anyone looking for a very knowledgeable, caring, calm vet in Apex or Cary.

The care and compassion that Dr's Bailey and Warner show is just Fantastic. We could not be any happier with our choice for a Veterinary Clinic. We currently have two dogs under their care that are thriving and very healthy. We have also had Dr. Bailey work with us on the end of life for another pet, and even though we still mourn the loss of our dog, we truly are grateful for the kindness, compassion, and professional care that this clinic expressed to our family. You cannot go wrong with this choice.

This is my first Yelp review and I can't think of a better business to give it to. We recently had to put our 13 year old kitty,Mojo, to sleep due to a number of medical reasons. Everyone here was so great and sympathetic. Dr. Tomkins was wonderful with him and talked with us about what was happening and she made us feel like she had known Mojo his whole life.It's never easy saying goodbye to a family pet but everyone here made it a little less painful.

Very pleased with the service I've gotten at the Animal Hospital of Peak Plaza. They keep the clinic very clean and the staff is friendly to me and my dog. Dr. Warner does a great job of analyzing unique aspects of my pet's lifestyle and advising me on the proper preventative care, making sure I am providing my dog with the most effective health plan while keeping it within my budget. After wasting a lot of money at Banfield in PetSmart (please refer to my other review), we came here instead on the recommendation of a neighbor. We were able to bring our cat here right after we called because of the urgency of his situation. Janine at the front desk is very friendly. Dr. Warner is knowledgeable and helpful. She was very reassuring and we felt good leaving our cat here. Just a few hours after dropping him off, we were relieved to find she had treated him a thousand times better than Banfield at half the price! It is obvious that all the staff here are very caring, and you can trust they are willing to work within your budget instead of trying to make a ton of money off of you. I will be recommending them to all of my friends! Thank you so much to all the staff and especially Dr. Warner for caring for my cat.

Moved to the area a little over a year ago and have searched for a vet that cares more for my animal than my wallet. I tried three offices with disappointing results and I am not that picky really. Is it too much to ask for the vet to know enough to diagnose the issue without charging $1500 first? First vet billed me $542 and couldn’t figure out issue. Next vet charged $300 as a starting point to just walk an animal in the door. Third vet finally diagnosed issue and then charged me another $500 to put my dog down. I was heartbroken and thought I would never get another animal after that experience. I couldn’t stand the loss and eventually got another pup. Talked to many friends and colleges this time and several recommended Dr. Bailey. I took my pup in for shots and checkup and WoW! Is all I can say! He actually got on the floor with my pup and cuddled with her and made her very comfortable before administering a shot and checking her teeth. The whole experience was outstanding but then I thought OK, wait til you see the bill for this level of service! What a shock! I got the bill and it was almost 1/5 what all the others charged. I have since been back and the service and cost remains consistently stellar. I’m a very happy customer and now have two pups. They both love Dr. Bailey!
