I recently started using Lake Pine for my foster cats. Dr. Katz, and her enthusiastic staff, have been so accommodating and welcoming to our rescue by helping give back to our local community by way of helping us help our foster animals in need of medical care (and there is such a need with homeless/abandoned animals). I've never had any problems getting my kitties in same day when needed. I love the family-like atmosphere and small, close-knit staff, that work so well together. You are not just another person walking through the door, but treated more like an extension of their family. Giz, Michael, Colleen, Erin, Jonie...(and a few others I'm still getting to know) are welcoming faces that greet me, (well, my kitties) with a smile. Dr. Katz takes the time to answer your questions and explain anything that may be going on with your pet. I love her common-sense approach to veterinarian medicine. You don't walk out of her practice feeling like you've been "nickeled and dimed." You get honest, quality, preventative medical care for your furry friends. They don't try to sell you on diagnostics that aren't medically necessary. As a result, I've started switching my own personal pets' care to Lake Pine. I will happily recommend them to any new/existing pet owner, and in rescue, have many opportunities to do so working with the public. I'm absolutely thrilled that Dr. Katz and her staff are one of our rescue veterinarian partners and now, my personal vet for my multitude of fur babies. If you're new to the area and looking for a vet to establish your four-legged friend with, give this team of veterinarian professionals an opportunity to love and care for your fur babies. Read Less
