The best and trustworthy. He comes straight to your home so you don’t have to stress your animals out going to the vet. His exam fee is cheaper than a vet clinic. His prices are beyond reasonable. Very caring of pets and honest about what you need and what you don’t need. Always responsive when you call. Always fit me in same day or next day. I’ve used many vets and he is the best.

Cannot be trusted to keep appointments or return calls. Been dealing with him for over 20 years and last couple years something is definitely wrong. Will not trust him with my pets anymore. This is Johnson Russell we are discussing. In my humble opinion, I will not trust this man with my pets.

Our family has been using Dr. Russell for our pets for years. He is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate and makes for a wonderful vet. He also makes house calls which makes it very easy for me since we have 3 animals - no need to wrangle them up and get the cat carrier out! You will also be surprised that you will actually get to speak with the vet for more than 10 minutes before they shuffle you out like a lot of places do. On top of his 30+ years of experience and expertise his pricing is very reasonable. I paid less money for an appt where he came and saw all 3 of my pets (2 dogs and 1 cat) for what I paid to take to the cat to another popular veterinary clinic in the Apex area. Doctor Russell has been our family vet and friend for close to 15 years and I have no plans on changing that until he retires one day. I would give 6 stars if I could. Glad there are still good honest people out there that go the extra mile.

He also makes house calls which makes it very easy for me since we have 3 animals - no need to wrangle them up and get the cat carrier out!
