We will not be going back here. The veterinarian was VERY rude. We were charged way more than most clinics. We will not be back. It doesn’t take much to be courteous to people. Burnett almost killed my dog. Prescribed her a combination of meds that caused pancreatitis. I specifically asked if it was safe, and she assured me it was. Fluids numerous times and $$$ to save my dog. Poor service, poor table side manner. Read Less

When we lived in Jacksonville, it was hard to find a local veterinary clinic that we trusted with our two cats and dog. So, I looked at clinics in the surrounding area and found Healing Hands. The staff is amazing, our pets loved going to see the doctor. The staff was also very accommodating and up front about the costs and what courses of treatment were available for our budget. We've since moved and I still haven't found a vet clinic as amazing as Healing Hands Animal Hospital. Read Less

My dog took 7 & a half hours there, finally went to get her. She wasn't even completely all the way finished. So I HAVE TO finish her cutting & bath her stomach & pee-pee area that was not even touched cause she still has all her stomach hair & pee area that's should have been cut, or at least washed. And they shaved the top of her nose snout. So it's all red & hurting her..All this for almost $80 dollars. What a joke!! Oh yeah the smell in there will almost kill you!! A few months ago my cat went in for surgery to get spayed. The next day her stiches were swollen and had puss coming out of it. It couldn't have been from her licking because she had a cone on the whole time. I contacted there emergency pager since it was after hours and never heard back from them. I took her to a 24 hour emergency animal hospital and the vet there was enraged by the piss poor job they did on her sugery. The vet even said herself it's a simple surgery something like this should not happen and I should absolutely contact them to pay for the medical bills. My cat had an infection from the surgery itself, was dehydrated and running a fever. Of course I contacted them as soon as they were open. For THREE days I got sent to different people and told to do different things. I started to realize that they were clearly purposefully sending me all over so they didn't have to deal with the issue. Because dealing with the issue would mean admiting they did something wrong. Eventually I finally got ahold of the vet who was extremely rude and sarcastic to me and claimed I never even called her pager. Even though I recited the pager number and she never said it was that number was wrong. Then she HUNG UP on me. I called back getting the "manager" telling me to email her the paperwork and asking me not to tarnish their business (I was not making any threats she was clearly extremely embarrassed by how the vet dealt with the situation). In the end the lady gave me a false email. So I just gave up with them. $350 extra medical bills wasted because a vet cannot do a simple spaying surgery on a cat. Do not go here. Ever. Read Less

I love Dr B and her team! Those that object to her do not understand that just because she is blunt and informative does NOT mean that she does not care, it means she is trying to teach you something you probably need to know. My fur babies have been seeing her for at least five years and she has ALWAYS been there for them. Just like two legged children pets need to be taught acceptable behavior those who will not discipline your children or pets are incourageing inappropriate behavior that will come back on you! Dr Cindy has been our vet for close to 20 years. We have a farm with lots of animals and we sleep good at night knowing she has our back! She is one of the finest people we know, and the BEST Vet in the country as far as we are concerned! Dr. Burnett and staff have been nothing but amazing and compassionate with our cats. She saw us through the sickness and death of my late cat (who died of old age), even coming to our home to put her to sleep so we could all be with her. Dr. Burnett and her team provide top care and love to our other cats. My kittens get spoiled every time I take them for their shots and checkups with therapeutic massages and nuzzles. The veterinarian she is Terribly, she doesn't have the passion for animals (that's what I experienced ) and her fu**** attitude is bad, she treats employees like s*** and the other guy, is the same thing, my dog got surgery and I didn't got any flushing medication to clean her wound and on top of that he didn't to told me or guide me to change my poor for dog her bandages and her paw need to be put back together Again. I pay over $650 and then i have to pay another $150 for bandages that i told her i was going to buy myself. Not going back there EVER AGAIN I hope no body has to pass thought this. Read Less

I have been to Healing Hands with two of my pets.  I had adopted a dog from the animal shelter and found out he was deaf and blind in one eye.  after being told by another vet that I should have his eyes taken out I went to Healing Hands.  She gave me a prescription for his eyes to help keep them from being so dry and they called to check on him, etc.  after only 6 mos. he started getting sick and had fluid around his heart.  it was heartbreaking but I had to have him put to sleep because he had a heart murmur also.  they cried with me.  everyone there loved my little man.  he was ten years old.  they sent me a sympathy card in the mail.  I know have a 5 month old chichihau and take her to them also.  I would recommend the Healing Hands to everyone.  They really care about animals and go the extra mile.  They proved it with my baby Mr. Shack. I have to question how much of a change has been made when your site is pretty sketchy on the details about your staff. I get a feeling it's the same vet and the same shenanigans will happen. Please, prove me wrong and flesh out your website with more details as I would like to have a vet that is local instead of having to drive out of my way to see a vet. Read Less

A TERRIBLE Vet! She exhibits only a deadpan manner tableside and treats even seasoned pet owners like they are Novices and badmouths the food you feed only to promote her OWN brand of Specialized dogfood! She also is interested inthe animals ONLY for future treatments , not in the individual pup,I witnessed her treatment not only of my dog but of others in the waiting room. I had another emergency with my collie Sadie She couldnt walk after much rain Was given NOVOX at $42 and itworked for only 3 days then NOTHING! I cant walk well either, Dr Burnett told me she would send somebody out to get her ONLY after an $80 charge to drive 10 miles a $55 office fee and $60 bloodwork whcih she had had during a $325 dental there. These days were crucial. !Sadie was in pain today and with help from my son, I took her in the car to Another Vet who is GENTLENESS PERSONIFIED in treating them! I WISH I had driven that distance SOONER! These animals are more than INVOICES they are FAMILY!! I don't recommend a vet who cares more about their new computer system and their wallet either than making a client WAIT over an hour and a half for a room! She can have all the ex employees negate what I or anyone else says but its the TRUTH! By the way. Sadie passed away yesterday of LIVER FAILURE! But at least I had a GENTLE HUMAN BEING tend to her.! Dr. Burnett is calm, cool and collected. She has earned my respect and most importantly my trust in two visits. Lets just say we came from less than favorable conditions from my last vet and I was very protective of my girl but I wouldn't hesitate to let Dr. Burnett and her great staff take care of my Zoe anytime. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs, (Zoe's needs) and make us feel very comfortable. Best Vet I've ever had hands down, she's a keeper!
