I brought my cat Pippi to the clinic for the first time today (recently moved here). Everyone was so kind and helpful, which I appreciated very much. A shout out to Dr. Small for going the second mile when my mother's cat, Thor, had a false positive this week of FIV. Dr. Small was so concerned about Thor and my mother, who is a cancer patient, that she ran the retest herself to insure proper laboratory technique. Fortunately , the second test proved negative and my mother can continue to enjoy the companionship of her adorable fur baby!! Thanks, Dr. Small!!

I live in Greensboro and drive my dog Will 30 minutes to get to this vet. Everyone at Alamance Veterinary Hospital is awesome! Will is my first dog, and they're always very understanding when I have a ton of questions and start going hypochondriac on them. Even my dog loves going to the vet, whenever he sees the building he starts wagging his tail and walking faster in anticipation of the pets and treats he knows are coming. I'm impressed with the rapport they've built with him, even though they've had to give him shots and make him suffer the indignity of having his temperature taken. We feel like they are well worth the drive, and are so happy to have such a wonderful group of people to work with to stay healthy!

Our puppies first visit. Everyone was wonderful. I have a Siberian Husky puppy, my brother has his brother, and my niece has his other brother. They saw them all at the same time to make the puppies feel comfortable. They were vaccinated and ready to go to the puppy park in a few hours. The staff took pics and gave them a pack name, "The wild ones".

My daughter's cat (Piper) had been scratching at her ears and shaking her head excessively for about a month. I decided to make Piper an appointment and I chose Alamance Veterinary Hospital. The vet confirmed that Piper had ear mites, bacteria, and an ear infection. I was very impressed with the staff professionalism, and Piper's visit with the vet was less than an hour.

I brought in my brother's dog who had collapsed at home and who was a patient of theirs. I didn't have the opportunity to call ahead because I was in such a hurry to get the dog to a doctor. When we arrived, I was told there would be a wait of a couple of hours. As we started out the door to take the dog to an emergency clinic down the street, the dog collapsed over the threshold. I asked the employee at the front desk to please help hold the door open so we could get the dog out of the building. She ignored me. The dog had to be euthanized at the emergency hospital.

I took my two kittens here for their first exam and round of vaccinations. We were checked in quickly at the front desk, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Then an assistant and Dr. Burbridge conducted the exam and administered the vaccinations. The cats were stressed out, but the doctor was was very good at handling the cats and moved through the procedures quickly and efficiently. The doctor also provided lots of information on care for the kittens. I recommend this place because the doctors and staff seem very caring and competent.

I have two 6 month old kittens and took them here for their first vet visit. I got checked in quickly. The assistants and Dr. Burbridge then did a thorough exam, provided good advice on nutrition and flea prevention, and administered the vaccines. They were very good at handling the nervous kittens. I highly recommend this vet.

bottom line seems most important: We have taken our cat here several times after his diagnosis with kidney disease. The last time, they insisted on running $300 worth of tests and then said that the test results could be wrong because our cat was dehydrated, so it appears that the purpose of the tests was to help them pay their rent. They also sent us home with meds and the most minimal of instructions on how to administer- we didn't even practice one time before we were handed the bag and the bill and were out the door. I do not recommend them.

I live in Greensboro and drive my dog Will 30 minutes to get to this vet. Everyone at Alamance Veterinary Hospital is awesome! Will is my first dog, and they're always very understanding when I have a ton of questions and start going hypochondriac on them. Our puppies first visit. Everyone was wonderful. I have a Siberian Husky puppy, my brother has his brother, and my niece has his other brother. They saw them all at the same time to make the puppies feel comfortable. They were vaccinated and ready to go to the puppy park in a few hours. The staff took pics and gave them a pack name, "The wild ones".

When we arrived, I was told there would be a wait of a couple of hours. As we started out the door to take the dog to an emergency clinic down the street, the dog collapsed over the threshold.
