All Paws Pet Emergency Hospital

Burlington, North Carolina
General Info
All Paws Pet Emergency Hospital, located in Burlington, combines tranquil settings and attentive staff to ensure that pets across North Carolina receive the care they deserve. Initial visits generally begin in a distraction-free area to allow the pet to explore or settle. Staff members observe various indicators, including tail position and pawing behavior. Several aspects such as coat quality, pulse rate, hydration level, jaw symmetry, gait patterns, and pet response to the veterinarian’s physical closeness are evaluated by veterinarians during physical examinations. Every minute detail is documented, especially for animals unfamiliar to medical setups or having past traumas and handling resistance. All Paws Pet Emergency Hospital offers the following services: diagnostic insights for surgery preparation, wellness exams for mobility tracking and parasite prevention, and breed-specific health forecasts. The care plan progresses depending on the pet’s reaction to handling and other routine aspects of the clinic environment like lighting, moving between rooms, and sound levels. Families with pets who struggle to connect with the world and enjoy repetitive activities find it especially helpful. Follow-ups are scheduled to fit any household and pet lifestyle. Pet owners receive a detailed explanation and step-by-step reasoning behind each decision, which elevates them from mere observers to active participants in their pets’ healthcare. All Paws Pet Emergency Hospital provides a veterinary experience to Burlington and surrounding area pet owners built upon the attention rhythm and shared understanding between pets and their owners, which ensures that each subsequent visit flows with greater naturalness and calmness. Services offered at the hospital include Laboratory, Orthopedic Surgery, Nutritional Counseling, Diagnostics, Internal Medicine, Radiology (X-rays), Blood Pressure Monitoring, Anesthesiology, Cardiology and Emergency Care. Thanks to this variety, local pet owners and those from nearby areas such as Burlington can access services ranging from standard checkups to advanced procedures. The clinic is a trusted name in the Burlington area because of its commitment to fostering lifelong health and comfort for pets.

Please everyone listen up! Do not take your animal to this Dr. I repeat do not take your animal to this Dr.!!! I took my dog there and found out after X-rays that she needed major emergency surgery. The Dr. Explained everything to me & my son and the unbelievable cost. She was cold, rude, insensitive and only cared about the money. Emotions were running high and my son went off on her. She slammed the door and called police and refused us service, while along my dog was dying. I apologized for his actions and she still refused us. The cops were on our side and helped me & my son find another option. We ended up having to take her to Winston-Salem at Carolina Veterinarian Specialist where she later passed away. Her situation was very bad and it had caused more damage then we knew.😞 That Dr. at All Paws Pet Emergency Hospital needs to have her license taken away because she denied my dogs life because she got her feelings hurt!!! Sadly, my first and only experience with AP was disappointing to say the least.  A pet was left bleeding on the floor of the hospital for 3 hours; because the doctor refused treatment until payment was made for services she had not yet rendered.  When surgery was performed on the injured pet, it was done with the doctor's jewelry exposed, to possibly fall into the wound and cause contamination or further injury.  The entire situation caused me enough alarm to report this doctor to the veterinary medical board.  In the midst of the board review, the doctor left the country for a vacation.  The receptionist has what I consider to be a rude and less than a welcoming manner.  In addition,  the doctor refused to speak with me personally about my concerns and instead stated she was too busy. All in all, I would not recommend AP.  While it is understood that a business is being run and caregivers deserve to be paid for what they do, allowing an animal to suffer in the name of financial gain is inhumane.  I do not recommend inhumane treatment for any creature. I'm not sure that I would even rate them this. I brought my cat in severely injured with a wound on her stomach and barely walking, they did 2 X-rays to tell me they couldn't really see anything without doing further surgery which would cost around $1200-3000, I spent almost $500 on the X-rays and meds. Needless to say I took my cat home and had to clean her up myself, because they didn't even do that much, and found out she had a stick 4 inches long protruding through her, which if you actually LOOK at the X-rays, you can see. NOT impressed at all and would not recommend them whatsoever. I feel like they didn't even take the time to look her over or look at the X-rays for that matter. Read Less
