This particular review is for Westbrooks groomers, Aubrey and Ciara (sorry if I misspelled your names!). These ladies are AMAZING. Super kind and very talented. I have a long coated German Shepherd whose fur and undercoat can be quite overwhelming. She's 9 years old and doesn't really care to be groomed anymore so she's not the easiest client to work with, but these ladies make her look beautiful! She's over 100lbs, so she's a big job, and they do a better job than anyone else I've EVER taken her to in her entire life. As long as my husband and I live here, no one else is touching my girls fur. I HIGHLY recommend Aubrey and Ciara!!

This particular review is for Westbrooks groomers, Aubrey and Ciara (sorry if I misspelled your names!). These ladies are AMAZING. Super kind and very talented. I have a long coated German Shepherd whose fur and undercoat can be quite overwhelming. She's 9 years old and doesn't really care to be groomed anymore so she's not the easiest client to work with, but these ladies make her look beautiful! She's over 100lbs, so she's a big job, and they do a better job than anyone else I've EVER taken her to in her entire life. As pet owners, we are always confident that she is getting the best care. My family has been with these people for 20 years (longer than I have been alive!). Needless to say, they do not disappoint.

Please reconsider before taking your pets to this location. The staff here are incredibly unprofessional and, frankly, borderline incompetent. They routinely forget to stock their supplies for pets. They also schedule appointments for incorrect days and times, and then leave clients waiting for long periods while they scramble to cover their errors. We have repeatedly waited, unaware, while they made mistake after mistake. I've truly never encountered such mediocre employees.

I work at a local pet store here in Burlington, and we had an emergency with one of our rescue cats which is housed in store. I quickly brought him to Westbrook to get looked at. The gentleman who ran the rescue met me there. The Veterinarian here was honest and frank with the diagnosis. Vance had a blood clot break loose and was very, very weak, with minimal chances. The veterinarian gave us our options in an honest way. Not being pushy to make an extra dollar. Sadly, in the end, we were forced to put poor Vance to sleep. We were charged only for the medication. RIP Vance, and thank you Westbrook.

Tallulah considers Westbrook her home away from home. We have taken her there since she adopted us. All of the staff are very friendly and treat and great your pet like their own. I trust the doctors implicitly for any treatment recommended. When we had to put down our cat Molly, the care and compassion shown us was very comforting. Highly recommend.

Over the 10 years that we've been in Burlington, Westbrook has treated 9 different cats for us. The lives of several were saved or extended, and all have been treated with care. This is the best veterinary practice that I've ever dealt with, and I recommend them highly. The vets are skilled and caring, and the staff is a delight to deal with.

I have always received great service from Westbrook, but the truly went above and beyond to help my cat who suffered an animal attack. Dr. Cates and staff have been wonderful, giving him excellent care and tolerating his less-than-happy attitude about being bandaged. The quality of care here is outstanding, and you can tell everyone loves all the animals they treat. I highly recommend them!

I would say I qualify to leave a review, as I've been going to Westbrook AH for close to 15 years I guess, with 4 different dogs. I've been in for routine visits, medications, and unfortunately, several emergencies as well. This is an outfit you can trust, and know that your pet will get excellent care. Besides being very smart about their work, Dr Martha and Dr Nick are personable , and genuinely care about you and your animal. The rest of the staff is friendly and competent too. Nobody can love their animals anymore than I do, and I trust Westbrook AH completely. A good, honorable Vet is like a good, honorable mechanic....when you find one, you better keep going back to them.

I started coming to Westbrook Animal Hospital when I got my rabbit, Cocoa, and my local vet didn't have the skills needed. I now drive to Burlington from Greensboro for the great care that they offer there. Not only do they see rabbits, they also see bearded dragons (even cranky ones, like mine). All of the pets that I bring there receive love and individual care; it's clear that everyone at Westbrook Animal Hospital really care about animals and their people!

Best Vet by far in Burlington NC. We switched to Westbrook over a year ago and it could not have been a better decision. The staff at Westbrook are all simply amazing and so friendly. We used to use boarding services from another local vet for our dog when going on vacation and were very saddened to find him looking dramatically thinner and his fur matted as if he had not been touched in a week. At Westbrook when picking him up from boarding it is evident he has had loving attention as he looks happy and healthy and almost doesn't even want to leave:) Dr. Cates is amazing too. In addition to boarding services our dog recently had an eye infection and I took him to see Dr. Cates and she was wonderful. She is extremely professional and patient. The office was very busy that day and they did not have any available appointments yet I explained to her that my dog seemed to be in pain with his eye and she fit me in very quickly. She also took her time with us and answered all of our questions and did not at all make us feel rushed even though they were so busy. She is both extremely knowledgable in her profession and has a passion for animals. A++++++ Westbrook. Thank you for providing our Dog Baby With Exceptional Care:)

I took my dog and cat to Westbrook and they were very nice and took great care of my 4 legged family members. Dr Nick and Dr Cates were very personable and while one worked directly with me the other checked in to make sure we were doing well. The staff took great care of us and made sure my pets were comfortable as the procedures were done. It is nice to find a place where they care a lot about the true patients not just the owners.

I want to start off by saying that Doctor Cates is amazing. Hence the two stars. However she does not work on Tuesdays and if she ever happens to be out, your pet will be treated poorly. My dog went on a Tuesday after having spent Monday night in the Emergency Vet and needed to be on IVs during normal hours. I went to pick him up at the end of the day to find that he had not been given the IV, just fluids under his skin because NO ONE (besides Dr Cates) can give a small pet an IV. My dog is 5.5 pounds, by the way. He had to return to the ER vet for fluids that night. A vet visit probably not needed. When I spoke to Westbrook about it the next day, they said they had been understaffed. Would have been nice to know since my baby was sick enough to go to the ER!The same thing happened to my friend a few months later (which has been recent). No IV given when the ER vet specifically prescribed them. When she picked up her dog, she was in terrible condition and spent four at CVS in Greensboro. This review in no way reflects on Dr. Cates. She has always been wonderful. Strangely, things get out hand when she isn't there. I've changed vets but just thought everyone should be aware.

We have both cats and dogs and they receive the very best care at Westbrook. Dr. Martha and Dr. Nick are very caring, they make us feel like family. From scheduling appointments to special situations and emergencies they have always provided the highest qualty care to our "kids". Their prices are very reasonable, and the quality of care is outstanding! They do not push services on us that we don't need. We can call the doctors for advice and often they will suggest a "home remedy" type solutions before suggesting anything more expensive. Westbrook really cares, and I know they do a lot to help rescued and homeless animals too! I wouldn't trust my pets to anyone else!

Best Vet service in town! We've taken our dog there for going on 8 years, he's soon to be 14, and everyone there has treated him with loving care and concern through every circumstance. We adopted him and Westbrook has been wonderful. They all know him by name and treat him as if he were their own. I've referred friends to them and will continue to do so in the future.

I have been using Westbrook animal hospital for 13 years. The care they give my dog Sugar is amazing!! I cannot imagine trusting her with any other vet. All of the staff is top notch!! Love Dr Nick...
I have been using Westbrook animal hospital for 13 years. The care they give my dog Sugar is amazing!! I cannot imagine trusting her with any other vet. All of the staff is top notch!! Love Dr Nick!!! They all truly love their "patients".....thanks for all you do!

Over the 10 years that we've been in Burlington, Westbrook has treated 9 different cats for us. The lives of several were saved or extended, and all have been treated with care. This is the best veterinary practice that I've ever dealt with, and I recommend them highly. The vets are skilled and caring, and the staff is a delight to deal with.

My dog goes to Westbrook and I can tell he feels comfortable when he goes. Dr. Cates and Dr. Mataraz are very nice and really look out for the best interest of your pet. My dog also gets groomed here ...

Dr. Cates., Dr. Nick and the staff have always been caring and compassionate to all my animals and to me. They have cared for my moms dogs and my cats for a very long time. During the time I was caring for my mom and her dogs, they were so helpful and patient with us during some very trying struggles. I personally recommend Westbrook.

I have always received great service from Westbrook, but the truly went above and beyond to help my cat who suffered an animal attack. Dr. Cates and staff have been wonderful, giving him excellent care and tolerating his less-than-happy attitude about being bandaged. The quality of care here is outstanding, and you can tell everyone loves all the animals they treat. I highly recommend them!

I would say I qualify to leave a review, as I've been going to Westbrook AH for close to 15 years I guess, with 4 different dogs. I've been in for routine visits, medications, and unfortunately, several emergencies as well. This is an outfit you can trust, and know that your pet will get excellent care. Besides being very smart about their work, Dr Martha and Dr Nick are personable , and genuinely care about you and your animal. The rest of the staff is friendly and competent too. Nobody can love their animals anymore than I do, and I trust Westbrook AH completely. A good, honorable Vet is like a good, honorable mechanic....when you find one, you better keep going back to them.

I started coming to Westbrook Animal Hospital when I got my rabbit, Cocoa, and my local vet didn't have the skills needed. I now drive to Burlington from Greensboro for the great care that they offer there. Not only do they see rabbits, they also see bearded dragons (even cranky ones, like mine). All of the pets that I bring there receive love and individual care; it's clear that everyone at Westbrook Animal Hospital really care about animals and their people!

Best Vet by far in Burlington NC. We switched to Westbrook over a year ago and it could not have been a better decision. The staff at Westbrook are all simply amazing and so friendly. We used to use boarding services from another local vet for our dog when going on vacation and were very saddened to find him looking dramatically thinner and his fur matted as if he had not been touched in a week. At Westbrook when picking him up from boarding it is evident he has had loving attention as he looks happy and healthy and almost doesn't even want to leave:) Dr. Cates is amazing too. In addition to boarding services our dog recently had an eye infection and I took him to see Dr. Cates and she was wonderful. She is extremely professional and patient. The office was very busy that day and they did not have any available appointments yet I explained to her that my dog seemed to be in pain with his eye and she fit me in very quickly. She also took her time with us and answered all of our questions and did not at all make us feel rushed even though they were so busy. She is both extremely knowledgable in her profession and has a passion for animals. A++++++ Westbrook. Thank you for providing our Dog Baby With Exceptional Care:)

I took my dog and cat to Westbrook and they were very nice and took great care of my 4 legged family members. Dr Nick and Dr Cates were very personable and while one worked directly with me the other checked in to make sure we were doing well. The staff took great care of us and made sure my pets were comfortable as the procedures were done. It is nice to find a place where they care a lot about the true patients not just the owners.

I want to start off by saying that Doctor Cates is amazing. Hence the two stars. However she does not work on Tuesdays and if she ever happens to be out, your pet will be treated poorly. My dog went on a Tuesday after having spent Monday night in the Emergency Vet and needed to be on IVs during normal hours. I went to pick him up at the end of the day to find that he had not been given the IV, just fluids under his skin because NO ONE (besides Dr Cates) can give a small pet an IV. My dog is 5.5 pounds, by the way. He had to return to the ER vet for fluids that night. A vet visit probably not needed. When I spoke to Westbrook about it the next day, they said they had been understaffed. Would have been nice to know since my baby was sick enough to go to the ER!The same thing happened to my friend a few months later (which has been recent). No IV given when the ER vet specifically prescribed them. When she picked up her dog, she was in terrible condition and spent four at CVS in Greensboro. This review in no way reflects on Dr. Cates. She has always been wonderful. Strangely, things get out hand when she isn't there. I've changed vets but just thought everyone should be aware.

We have both cats and dogs and they receive the very best care at Westbrook. Dr. Martha and Dr. Nick are very caring, they make us feel like family. From scheduling appointments to special situations and emergencies they have always provided the highest qualty care to our "kids". Their prices are very reasonable, and the quality of care is outstanding! They do not push services on us that we don't need. We can call the doctors for advice and often they will suggest a "home remedy" type solutions before suggesting anything more expensive. Westbrook really cares, and I know they do a lot to help rescued and homeless animals too! I wouldn't trust my pets to anyone else!

Best Vet service in town! We've taken our dog there for going on 8 years, he's soon to be 14, and everyone there has treated him with loving care and concern through every circumstance. We adopted him and Westbrook has been wonderful. They all know him by name and treat him as if he were their own. I've referred friends to them and will continue to do so in the future.

This vet mis-diagnosed our beloved dog, and we lost her as a result. We would not recommend entrusting your pet's care to her.
