Came in with my 1 yr old cat Snow who was in major distress. He was bleeding from his nose and mouth and drooling. They checked him for AIDS and Leukemia and sent us home with antibiotics with no possible explanation as to what was happening to him. He died the next evening. Always a pleasure taking our pets here. Inepencive too. They don't pressure you into spending money you done need to spend. Honest and friendly. No third degree like some animal hospitals trying to take all the money they can with unnessary tests etc. You won't find that here. Highly recommended! Read Less

This place is not worth the wait. I called weeks ago before thanksgiving and made inquiries about getting my dog in. I informed them we were new patient and we just need the one shot for the dog. I was told then I didn’t have to make an appointment. They have walk in hours for just shots. I was like “awesome”. Then the same day, I asked my old vet to fax over my dog’s record. Fast forward today, when I take my dog in they didn’t have the record. I called my old vet office again to ask them fax it over. The front desk lady was attempting using 411 to get my old vet’s phone number. I honestly don’t know anyone who uses 411 any more. Internet is so much easier and I can’t believe they don’t have internet for the staff to look things up?? She could also asks me for the number but I saw her struggling so I offered to call. She was by herself and had to take care of everything. Then I waited over 45 minutes to just get a shot in. The waiting area was small and crammed. It was really warm and uncomfortable. And whatever was in the office totally triggered my allergy. I was miserable. Finally the tech came out but instead of getting to an area that’s maybe more out of sight, she just did the shot right there in the lobby. There were so many dogs and a cat in the waiting area very distracting so she didn’t do a good job. Half the vaccine probably didn’t even make it into my dog’s nose. Absolutely best hospital around. I have been using this hospital for 4 years after my other one would not see us one day with an emergency because we didn't have an appointment. Dr. takes time to listen, doesn't try to "sell". We had a knee surgery done last year for less than half what a neighbor paid for his dog to have done in Cary. Our animals love the place. Read Less

Best place to go and all the staff are very nice and patient with all my boys they have seen!! The Vets and the Techs are always very gentle and really take the time to make you feel at ease and always make sure if you have any problems be sure and let them know. My experience was terrible. We waited an hour before the vet tech finally came our to see my dog. The vet tech was scared of my dog and not prepared for the visit. She was rude and said my dog was being ugly. My dog is almost 7 years old and goes to banfeild regularly but my friends recommended this place and I came and they were very rude and did not give my dog the love and compassion he deserved like they did the other dogs. My dog has never been aggressive nor did he show aggression towards the vet and she was very judgemental and mean to my dog. They may be cheap but they give you what you pay for poor service and treatment. Read Less

So I took my 14 year old puppy in for the first time today at this vet. I was super nervous to change vets so late in her life. The entire staff was amazing! They were so gentle and caring with my sweet old girl. She is very arthritic and the vet tech carried her to have X-rays done. BTW....she is not a small dog...she weighs 70lbs. I am beyond pleased! I didn't have an appt but they worked me in and instead of going with the most expensive treatment they advised me of several options. They are very competitive with their charges and all of their staff and Dr. were very nice. They let me go back with my dog which my old vet never did. They were recommended to me and I would recommend them to anyone. Read Less
