I love this place. The vet is usually not a place you look forward to visiting. Typically you go there because you have a sick fur baby. Well, I can't imagine a more caring and truly empathetic set ...
I love this place. The vet is usually not a place you look forward to visiting. Typically you go there because you have a sick fur baby. Well, I can't imagine a more caring and truly empathetic set of doctors for situations like this. Dr. Munn is so good at explaining things and he even has a sense of humor about it, while also being completely professional and understanding. I recently saw Dr. Shipley when I took my aunt and her sick dog to their office. We had no idea the tragic news we would be getting about her fur baby. Dr. Shipley was as compassionate as one can be in a situation like this. I'm truly thankful to have such great doctors nearby!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this vet and office staff. They are kind and compassionate and have treated my pets in all states. I have come in with pets in a great mood, in anxiety, and in pain and every time they have been wonderful and taken care of my pets the way that I would. My dog was a patient of Dr Shipman. He woke up during the night with a severe, nasty, painful ear infection. Since they have Saturday hours I called first thing so that he could be worked in for an antibiotic and pain med. she would not see him because she said they had no openings. We will not be returning to a vet with so little compassion for our dog.

Our cat was struggling and they were able to see me as a new patient the same day. We had to make a tough choice in the end, but I can not say enough about how supportive they were for me and compassionate for my cat. I really appreciate the way they run this place. You can tell they really love animals. The little things can make a big difference.

A few months ago our Great Dane had a stroke. We had no clue what was going on and were frantically trying to find a vet that could get us in quickly. Being a mile down the road from us, they told us to bring her in, we were afraid that she would have to be put down. Upon arrival they staff helped unload her from our truck, helped bring her in, and took great care of her. The doctor explained everything going on and explained what recovery would look like. We were so thankful to have found this place and plan on bringing her back there so they can see her again.

About 5 years ago we switched to Dr. Munn (and briefly Dr. Bailey) when we became dissatisfied with another nearby veterinary practice. His staff has always been attentive and caring.From the first visit he has been a kind, caring professional in the care of our golden retriever Annabelle.Last week he had to inform me of some devastating news regarding her condition. Dr. Munn at the West Cary Animal Hospital is the best!! I had called today about Izzy pulling out one of her staples. They said she would be fine and to just keep doing what we were doing. Well, he just stopped by my house on his way home just to see Izzy and make sure everything was ok. He said he would sleep better knowing she was fine. (Of course I was a bit embarrassed because I was in my pajamas but I'm so happy!)

I love this place. The vet is usually not a place you look forward to visiting. Typically you go there because you have a sick fur baby. Well, I can't imagine a more caring and truly empathetic set of doctors for situations like this. Dr. Munn is so good at explaining things and he even has a sense of humor about it, while also being completely professional and understanding.
