We pay $26.95 monthly for a wellness plan for my pet. Therefore, if we want to take our pet monthly for a wellness check visit, that should not be an issue. We do not do that, but I called them today...
We pay $26.95 monthly for a wellness plan for my pet. Therefore, if we want to take our pet monthly for a wellness check visit, that should not be an issue. We do not do that, but I called them today to schedule a checkup for my puppy and they said she was not due until July. We stated we wanted her to be seen now, just to check her out, and we got pushback.
My question to Heather was why is this an issue? Why is authorization needed? If we pay $26.95 per month for the plan, if we wanted to bring her in every month, there should be no problem? This disturbed me, as I am the consumer and the person paying. After I guess Heather consulted with the doctor, I was given an appointment.
So, this leads me to believe we are paying good money for not so good a service. Others may wish to think about that. My husband and I are thinking about de-enrolling from the plan. If you are considering their wellness plan, you may wish to think again.

Vet R. Flynn is absolutely phenomenal!! Was going to another Banfield for 3 years and will not go back after our visit with him. He showed incredible care for my rottie who has been suffering from entropion, that was conintously being ignored by others. He not only took incredible care of my rottie, but answered all my questions and referred us to a specialist to ensure the best care of him. During this critical time my rottie needed to come back in 3 days while Mr. Flynn would be off, he scheduled for the chief of staff to cover the follow up appointment and introduced him to me because of the trust issues I already had with Vets. This place is fantastic and will be bringing my pup here for now on!

I love Dr. Mac he is vey caring and knowledgeable about my dog. He takes time to give you all the information needed to make decisions about your fur baby and that is so important to me. I would never do the "puppy plan" or "dog plan" again as it isn't cost efficient to my dogs needs so once his 12 mons is up we will be terminating that. Other than that if you need a good vet go see Dr. Mac....he is the only vet I schedule Baxter with unless it's an emergency.

I would like to thank everyone at this location for treating my pets, husband & I with such kindness and being very professional. My husband and I just recently had to say goodbye to our first fur baby Cocoa due to kidney failure.
Dr. Connelly and her vet tech Morgan were SO gentle, thorough, and showed SO much love towards Cocoa and us throughout the whole process. This was my first time having to put an animal down and it felt like a part of me had just died but if it had not been for Dr. Connelly and her amazing bedside manner it would have been a lot worse on us.
We also received a very nice sympathy card in the mail from them and it has a sweet little paw print stamped on the card. I asked if this is Cocoa's paw print and was told yes it is.
The love, support, kindness & professionalism that has been shown to us we will always remember and even though January 1st was a very sad day for us it makes going back to this facility a lot easier knowing that there are some very good people that help take care of our fur babies.

We have been attending Banfield Pet Hospitals for around 3 years now. Due to moving frequently, it has been great to be able to get consistent treatment for our pets. The Mooresville, NC location and Olympia, WA location have been nothing short of excellent.
However when it comes to customer and veterinary service, the North Lake, NC location seriously lacks. In a call to verify my pets medical records before grooming/boarding, the staff was incredibly rude and just hung up on the phone. This is not the first time I have experienced rude behavior and issues with the front desk staff. I have had issues with obtaining my pets medical records at this location, as well as receiving the medicine that I have purchased when visiting this location.
I have worked as a help desk representative for their competing company, and have experience within the vet industry, therefore I understand that it isn't always easy to deal with concerned pet owners. I always keep that in mind when inquiring about my pets. However, it is important to keep the attitude to a minimum and simply answer the questions that are well within the job description, and NEVER hang up on an inquiring client...

I didn't know Banfield had a separate page until this week. He's actually who recommended Dr. Mac to me and he's been giving fantastic care for all my fur babies ever since.This week however I got the new Dr. Paul. I've never been so upset at a dr in my life, never felt so talked down to, never felt so picked on. It was just a small concern, ask simple questions. I left being made to feel like the worst dog owner to ever live.I don't know if I can ever return to this location...*Edited correct name

When I got my Boston Terrier, this was the most convenient vet to take my baby to. I like that it's located in the PetSmart so I can combine trios. So far, I haven't had any complaints with their services. I have the puppy plan which is comparably priced. All of my baby's first visit fees were also reasonably priced. He's only had to get the basics as a puppy as far as vaccines and medicines go so I can't speak on other services.All staff members are friendly and attentive. I'm glad my baby is growing and it also makes me feel special that they remember him every time. I would give 5 stars but I subtracted a star due to always having to wait with an appointment and also for not including nail clippings for free. $14 adds up.

If you take your pet here, quit going. I've had not one but two bad experience here. First time they try to take money from me by "dropping my pet off." Second time they canceled my appointment. They will try to feed you some bullshit to make everything right after you call corporate on them. They will give you headaches after headaches dealing with them. They front nurses don't do shit but sit on their asses and type on the computers all day and answer phones and also be on their personal cell phones on facebook etc. You think they care about your pet? Think again

If you take your pet here, quit going. I've had not one but two bad experience here. First time they try to take money from me by "dropping my pet off." Second time they canceled my appointment. They will try to feed you some bullshit to make everything right after you call corporate on them. They will give you headaches after headaches dealing with them. They front nurses don't do shit but sit on their asses and type on the computers all day and answer phones and also be on their personal cell phones on facebook etc. You think they care about your pet? Think again

They always treat my dog very nice. The vet is a true animal lover. The waiting time is a little too much.

This is not my regular Veterinarian location and I do not plan on making them my regular Vet. The saff is hit and miss. Some are friendly and some are very kurt. Prices lean towards the high side even if you go for their sales pitch package. Im going to rate Banfield poor to fair but leaning towards good.
