We have had several different vets over the last 20 years. Some were very knowledgeable. Some were a business, if you get my drift. And some had terrible record keeping. The people were nice enough. But we never found the right place until a few years ago. Everyone at Brookdale is beyond nice and polite. They are sweet. They are compassionate. You are treated like family there. They have always been super wonderful to us and our fur-babies. Whether it's a simple check up, or one is hurt or ill, the care has always been the same, top notch. Recently, our senior dog became ill very quickly. He had some other physical ailments, but his health took a nose dive quickly. We were faced with a very difficult decision. We made a promise to our fur-babies that we would never let them live in pain. It was not an easy decision to make. We were not ready to say goodbye. But it was the right thing to do for him. Their entire staff was very accommodating. The compassion the staff showed us from the moment we walked in was amazing. Not just to us, but to our old "man" as well. They didn't rush us at all. During one of the most difficult moments in our lives, they were more than a business. They were friends. A week later, we received a "Sorry for your loss" card from them. Inside was a hand written not from the vet about our beloved lost loved one. A very personal touch. And also included, two paw prints. I cried. You cannot go wrong with Brookdale Animal Hospital. The only reason I give them one star is because they answered the phone. The receptionist was very rude. I just moved here, and I'm used to friendly, helpful, and professional people where I take my dog-child to get services done. Because of the way the receptionist spoke to me, I will never go here, and I won't suggest this vet to any of my friends. A new receptionist would improve their business. Read Less

Dr. Presley has been my pets doctor for several years and I would take him anywhere else! The staff is wonderful with my pet (he can be a handful). I would recommend anyone looking for a new vet or unhappy with their current vet to check then out! My dog was given maybe 6 months to live.. that was 4 years ago! This is the best vet around! My cat, Bella, hates going to the vet so I always dread the annual exam and vaccinations. After being unhappy with our previous vet, I decided to try a new one. Dr. Pressley and the team at Brookdale Animal Hospital were fantastic. They knew just how to handle Bella and were able to examine her and give her shot with no problem. Normally, after coming home from the vet, Bella is stressed and not herself, but this time, she was perfectly normal the moment she got out of her carrier. Just when I thought I wouldn't be able to have my dog/best friend saved, Dr. Pressley showed how much he cares for the well being of animals. It's not all about the money with him. He was willing to work with me even when I financially couldn't afford the surgery to save my dogs life.
