We have always loved Mallard Creek for their professionalism, attention, and loving atmosphere. That all really shined through on the day we had to let our Cali go in peace. The staff was so comforting and patient with us. Cali was 18 years old and it was extremely difficult letting her go. The staff gave us all the time we needed to be with her, provided us with privacy when we needed it most and were fantastic about every step of the process and what to expect. I really love this Vet clinic. I can't say enough good things about them.

I have been bringing my cat Stormy here for 2.5 years. Our cat loves seeing Dr.Fluke, she is great with cats. I highly recommend her. Stormy had a tumor on his leg, and had to have it removed. They really worked with us a got us a very fair price for a 3 day surgical visit. You can even get same day appointments.

We started going here when we adopted Savannah from the shelter in 2011. Started out good. Savannah got sick 6 years later and took her to see what was going on. Visit was more than expected. We tried to pay all but $27 of the bill. Staff unwilling to give us the medicine for Savannah. Also, nurse said they do not take checks. I knew she was lying but didn't say anything. I did return to clear the bill. I see where others had better service when payment was a little problem. MUST JUST BE ME!
Not too happy with the service. Hope the diagnosis was correct. Probably won't take her back or recommend to anyone.

Last week we had to put down one of Our older pets and a few days later we got a sympathy card from the entire staff who had taken the time to sign it.. just the extra little steps they take remind you that they love us like family!

They stayed open late and waited for us to get there and were so awesome and amazing to us. They took care of our beloved dog for 15 years and have always been open, honest and helpful. Loved it from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The front desk ladies were very inviting and got me straight into a room even though I was a few minutes late. Had my sick golden retriever seen by the vet and treated with IV fluids and out the door within 30 mins. Very clean and had a great experience.

Today I brought my Kitty Licorice in. She was been sneezing for 5 days with no other symptoms.We were able to Make a appt a few days ago a few hrs before closing on Sat. Our regular Vet Davis Lakes Animal Hosp is closed on Memorial Day.Dr.Linda Connolly examined her and concluded she had a allergy. One that can be treated over the counter medication. I was pleased to only have to pay the $58 for the appointment. Thank you for great service. I will use this animal hospital as a back up in the future. The Dr was familiar with my current vet and happy to say she knew him.

Dr. Laurie Walden saw us yesterday when we took in our 14yr-old Australian Shepherd, which was suffering from severe prolonged diarrhea, vomiting and seizures -- basically age had caught up to her in some terminal way. The Dr. and staff were extremely compassionate, helpful and supportive to us as we made the difficult decision to put her down. And, while doing it, they were so considerate of our needs to be present with Daisy. In the end, even with the fecal test, euthanasia, and crematory charges, it was *very* reasonable, especially considering all the time they spent with us. I highly recommend Dr. Walden at Mallard Creek Animal Hospital.

While visiting Charlotte in preparation for our relocation to NC, our catahoula pup Mollie began showing signs of kennel cough. The staff at Mallard Creek was very accommodating in getting us in the same day although we weren't patients. Dr. Hyatt and her team were amazing at comforting her and putting my mind at ease that this would pass with a short treatment of antibiotics. The fact we can walk into the clinic and feel like we've always been seen there is awesome and I know Mollie will always be treated as if she is a family member. We LOVE Mallard Creek!

We have been using Mallard Creek Animal Hospital for about 2 years. We've been through the gamut from having to put down a beloved kitty to getting and raising new kittens. The staff and doctors here are superb and treat us like family! You can tell that they all genuinely care about your animals and about giving excellent service. We typically see Dr. Johnston but have had positive interactions with Dr. Fluke and Dr. Green as well. We love this place!

I moved here a year ago and went thru a couple of vets until I found mallard creek. I have a 5 yr old German shepherd that suffers from terrible allergies that with countless dollars nd vet visits we have not been able to make her comfortable long term. After two visits with dr johnson elsa is better than ever!! She sat down petting Elsa while truly listening to me. We discussed treatment plans she suggested and was sensitive to all concerns including cost. We agreed on a plan best for us and elsa is doing great! In addition to outstanding vets the staff is wonderful!! At mallard creek you get it all!

I have been taking my dog here for many years and they have always been very kind and helpful. I am a student so my parents sometimes help with payments on my behalf over the phone and they are very understanding. My dog has had not only his annual check ups there, but also a dental surgery. Going into it they explained to me exactly what to expect, and I had no worries.
He is a happy and healthy 10 year old bichon and I would continue taking him there if it weren't for the fact that I have moved. But trust me, we will return as soon as I move back.

Today I brought my Kitty Licorice in. She was been sneezing for 5 days with no other symptoms.We were able to Make a appt a few days ago a few hrs before closing on Sat. Our regular Vet Davis Lakes Animal Hosp is closed on Memorial Day.Dr.Linda Connolly examined her and concluded she had a allergy. One that can be treated over the counter medication. I was pleased to only have to pay the $58 for the appointment. Thank you for great service. I will use this animal hospital as a back up in the future. The Dr was familiar with my current vet and happy to say she knew him.

Dr. Laurie Walden saw us yesterday when we took in our 14yr-old Australian Shepherd, which was suffering from severe prolonged diarrhea, vomiting and seizures -- basically age had caught up to her in some terminal way. The Dr. and staff were extremely compassionate, helpful and supportive to us as we made the difficult decision to put her down. And, while doing it, they were so considerate of our needs to be present with Daisy. In the end, even with the fecal test, euthanasia, and crematory charges, it was *very* reasonable, especially considering all the time they spent with us. I highly recommend Dr. Walden at Mallard Creek Animal Hospital.

While visiting Charlotte in preparation for our relocation to NC, our catahoula pup Mollie began showing signs of kennel cough. The staff at Mallard Creek was very accommodating in getting us in the same day although we weren't patients. Dr. Hyatt and her team were amazing at comforting her and putting my mind at ease that this would pass with a short treatment of antibiotics. The fact we can walk into the clinic and feel like we've always been seen there is awesome and I know Mollie will always be treated as if she is a family member. We LOVE Mallard Creek!

We have been using Mallard Creek Animal Hospital for about 2 years. We've been through the gamut from having to put down a beloved kitty to getting and raising new kittens. The staff and doctors here are superb and treat us like family! You can tell that they all genuinely care about your animals and about giving excellent service. We typically see Dr. Johnston but have had positive interactions with Dr. Fluke and Dr. Green as well. We love this place!

I moved here a year ago and went thru a couple of vets until I found mallard creek. I have a 5 yr old German shepherd that suffers from terrible allergies that with countless dollars nd vet visits we have not been able to make her comfortable long term. After two visits with dr johnson elsa is better than ever!! She sat down petting Elsa while truly listening to me. We discussed treatment plans she suggested and was sensitive to all concerns including cost. We agreed on a plan best for us and elsa is doing great! In addition to outstanding vets the staff is wonderful!! At mallard creek you get it all!

I have been taking my dog here for many years and they have always been very kind and helpful. I am a student so my parents sometimes help with payments on my behalf over the phone and they are very understanding. My dog has had not only his annual check ups there, but also a dental surgery. Going into it they explained to me exactly what to expect, and I had no worries.
He is a happy and healthy 10 year old bichon and I would continue taking him there if it weren't for the fact that I have moved. But trust me, we will return as soon as I move back.
Great staff. Great care.
