Had a great experience here after an absolutely terrible one at west ballantyne animal hospital. Everyone was friendly and professional, I explained how the last vet I went to over vaccinated my kitten and didn't read his medical records. They listened and went over everything with me. After my kitten had his shots the vet talked with me and answered all my questions. She was very kind and I didn't feel rushed at all. The last vet I went to I felt like I was inconveniencing them and they were trying to rush out, but not here. I wanted to get my kitten microchipped but they recommended I wait until he gets fixed so they don't have to put him through the pain. I was so impressed that they cared more about my kittens comfort than making more money on my visit. I'm very happy with this vet and how we were treated.

We could not ask for better care for our dog. We had a Jack Russell Terrier with some health issues and the staff was so good and patient with him. They showed such kindness to us when he passed. Our new rescue Jack Russell Terrier also has some Heath issues and they have been attentive and patient, especially with this nervous mom. I highly recommend this practice to any pet owner. They are professional, give excellent care, and love their patients.

Our English bulldog Bentley has struggled with all types of allergies and interditigal cysts on his paws for some time now. No other vet has really taken the time to get to the true root cause and come up with a true remedy vs just band-aiding it - until we were referred to Dr. S at Mixed Pets! He truly took the time to review Bentley's prior medical records and take us through great detailed info and treatment options. I'm not sure I've ever even had a people Dr provide me with that undivided attention and level of care, as if there was not another patient to be seen (and of course there was). Those actions gave me hope and faith to have Bentley's health in his hands. Bentley was the most calm he has ever been for a vet visit meanwhile it was his first time there and the longest trip to and at the vet. That speaks volumes for me too. I'm so pleased. The ladies there are great too (front desk and nurse) . I highly recommend Mixed Pet, especially Dr. S!

We love Dr. Pantone!!! Our Jack Russell Baxter split his toe nail in half and had to have the nail completely removed. We chose Mixed Pet because of their close proximity to our home and their great reviews on google. Reviews were right!! Place is extremely clean, techs are very friendly and Dr. Pantone is great!! She explained everything up front and gave us two different options of what we could do (one being much cheaper but a slower healing process for our dog baby). We chose to have the nail completely removed and Baxter recovered quickly. The doc gave us a call a few days afterwards to check on Baxter, and had him come back in twice to check on the nail (no charge). Prices might be a little higher ($300 for putting Baxter under, removing the nail, antibiotics and pain meds) than smaller, more rural vets, but the care makes it worth it. Highly recommend!

My Chow/Retriever mixed passed away suddenly last winter and they took care of everything in such a professional and caring manner. I now have an 8 month old Maltipom and they are so patient with her crazy little self! I've never had a small dog before and they have helped tremendously with sharing helpful tips to train her! Our pets are our family and the warmth and professionalism this group offers is absolutely EVERYTHING!

We've been going here for almost 9 years. I'll admit, I tried a couple of other places, but none of them have been as good to us through the years. Dr. Schoolmeister is no nonsense and tells me straight which I appreciate because my dog has had many issues, and I want to know what I need to do that's best for him. We also go to CVS for specialty care and Mixed Pet always checks in following those visits. Dr. Pantone had just started working there a few years ago but she also immediately knew my dog's history the first time we met her, so I knew she was on top of it! Both doctors and staff share notes and discuss together cases to ensure we get the best care. They do treat us well. I can see them same day and get more personalized care for my pup anytime. It's hard to find that these days!

Yesterday we had to make the difficult and unexpected choice to put our cat to sleep. Dr Schoolmeester and the staff at Mixed Pet were wonderful and made things as easy as possible in a very sad situation for us. They even did a paw print- a sweet reminder of our buddy. We actually have a vet right across the street from our house, but will choose to see Dr. S from now on. Thank you again for the excellent care and service!

My pup and I loved Mixed Pet! We have been going here for 5 years now! Dr. S has been so good to us! There have been times I wanted to find a new vet, only because they are a little bit more expensive than others. However, after having felt with many skin issues, allergies, and Lymes disease, etc., I feel that the price is worth the service. Dr. S and the techs really care about their furry patients! I will recommend to anyone!

I took my dog there for a routine checkup and vaccine update a few weeks ago. After trying to convince me to get him every vaccine in the book and my standing firm with just the necessary ones, they removed him from the room. When the vet came back, he informed me that my dog had an ear infection and a yeast infection between his toes. They had already given him treatment. The bill for all of these services was $350! I felt that I had no choice but to take care of my dog, but understand that not everyone just has that kind of money laying around. So I was told I needed to bring him back for a recheck. It did not occur to me that they would charge almost as much as a full checkup price for a recheck, so when they informed me that the recheck plus the reapplication of the ear medicine and the ear cleaner to take home was $90, I was very surprised. I can understand charging for a recheck, but $38 seems a bit ridiculous. I will not be returning to Mixed Pet.

I brought my Golden to see Dr. Ken at Stonecrest and had a great experience. I was able to drop off my dog in the AM and pick her up when everything was done- VERY CONVENIENT! The staff was very helpful and efficient. Dr Ken was excellent with my pet, took very good care of her, and communicated everything I needed. I'll be bringing my pets here for many years to come.

Drs Schoolmeester and Walker are terrific— very good communicators and great referrals. Their vet techs— especially Cris - are the best. For cat owners I highly recommend Mixed Pet. Had a great experience here after an absolutely terrible one at west ballantyne animal hospital. Everyone was friendly and professional, I explained how the last vet I went to over vaccinated my kitten and didn't read his medical records. They listened and went over everything with me. After my kitten had his shots the vet talked with me and answered all my questions. She was very kind and I didn't feel rushed at all. The last vet I went to I felt like I was inconveniencing them and they were trying to rush out, but not here. I wanted to get my kitten microchipped but they recommended I wait until he gets fixed so they don't have to put him through the pain. I was so impressed that they cared more about my kittens comfort than making more money on my visit. I'm very happy with this vet and how we were treated.

We could not ask for better care for our dog. We had a Jack Russell Terrier with some health issues and the staff was so good and patient with him. They showed such kindness to us when he passed. Our new rescue Jack Russell Terrier also has some Heath issues and they have been attentive and patient, especially with this nervous mom. I highly recommend this practice to any pet owner. They are professional, give excellent care, and love their patients.

Our English bulldog Bentley has struggled with all types of allergies and interditigal cysts on his paws for some time now. No other vet has really taken the time to get to the true root cause and come up with a true remedy vs just band-aiding it - until we were referred to Dr. S at Mixed Pets! He truly took the time to review Bentley's prior medical records and take us through great detailed info and treatment options. I'm not sure I've ever even had a people Dr provide me with that undivided attention and level of care, as if there was not another patient to be seen (and of course there was). Those actions gave me hope and faith to have Bentley's health in his hands. Bentley was the most calm he has ever been for a vet visit meanwhile it was his first time there and the longest trip to and at the vet. That speaks volumes for me too. I'm so pleased. The ladies there are great too (front desk and nurse) . I highly recommend Mixed Pet, especially Dr. S!

We love Dr. Pantone!!! Our Jack Russell Baxter split his toe nail in half and had to have the nail completely removed. We chose Mixed Pet because of their close proximity to our home and their great reviews on google. Reviews were right!! Place is extremely clean, techs are very friendly and Dr. Pantone is great!! She explained everything up front and gave us two different options of what we could do (one being much cheaper but a slower healing process for our dog baby). We chose to have the nail completely removed and Baxter recovered quickly. The doc gave us a call a few days afterwards to check on Baxter, and had him come back in twice to check on the nail (no charge). Prices might be a little higher ($300 for putting Baxter under, removing the nail, antibiotics and pain meds) than smaller, more rural vets, but the care makes it worth it. Highly recommend!

My Chow/Retriever mixed passed away suddenly last winter and they took care of everything in such a professional and caring manner. I now have an 8 month old Maltipom and they are so patient with her crazy little self! I've never had a small dog before and they have helped tremendously with sharing helpful tips to train her! Our pets are our family and the warmth and professionalism this group offers is absolutely EVERYTHING!

We've been going here for almost 9 years. I'll admit, I tried a couple of other places, but none of them have been as good to us through the years. Dr. Schoolmeister is no nonsense and tells me straight which I appreciate because my dog has had many issues, and I want to know what I need to do that's best for him. We also go to CVS for specialty care and Mixed Pet always checks in following those visits. Dr. Pantone had just started working there a few years ago but she also immediately knew my dog's history the first time we met her, so I knew she was on top of it! Both doctors and staff share notes and discuss together cases to ensure we get the best care. They do treat us well. I can see them same day and get more personalized care for my pup anytime. It's hard to find that these days!

Yesterday we had to make the difficult and unexpected choice to put our cat to sleep. Dr Schoolmeester and the staff at Mixed Pet were wonderful and made things as easy as possible in a very sad situation for us. They even did a paw print- a sweet reminder of our buddy. We actually have a vet right across the street from our house, but will choose to see Dr. S from now on. Thank you again for the excellent care and service!

My pup and I loved Mixed Pet! We have been going here for 5 years now! Dr. S has been so good to us! There have been times I wanted to find a new vet, only because they are a little bit more expensive than others. However, after having felt with many skin issues, allergies, and Lymes disease, etc., I feel that the price is worth the service. Dr. S and the techs really care about their furry patients! I will recommend to anyone!

Giving a shout out to Mixed Pet! They took such wonderful care of my sweet 12 yr old Chow/Retriever mix Allie during our first visit. She was a little nervous but they took time to comfort her during the exam. They also put my mind at ease finding the lump under her belly was nothing serious. I took my dog there for a routine checkup and vaccine update a few weeks ago. After trying to convince me to get him every vaccine in the book and my standing firm with just the necessary ones, they removed him from the room. When the vet came back, he informed me that my dog had an ear infection and a yeast infection between his toes. They had already given him treatment. The bill for all of these services was $350! I felt that I had no choice but to take care of my dog, but understand that not everyone just has that kind of money laying around. So I was told I needed to bring him back for a recheck. It did not occur to me that they would charge almost as much as a full checkup price for a recheck, so when they informed me that the recheck plus the reapplication of the ear medicine and the ear cleaner to take home was $90, I was very surprised. I can understand charging for a recheck, but $38 seems a bit ridiculous. I will not be returning to Mixed Pet.

The staff was very helpful and efficient. Dr Ken was excellent with my pet, took very good care of her, and communicated everything I needed. I'll be bringing my pets here for many years to come.
