I have read every review given by people experiencing AAA Veterinarian. I have noticed that most of the compliants are focused on not receiving the expected outcome. A complaint in that sense is understandable, but attempting to degrade a 20 YEAR medical practice by simple words is ludicrous. We all must understand that every patient is entirely different, under different circumstances. By my experience, I am sure the doctor has performed his best during every visit. I also noticed a person mentioned the doctor willing to allow the client to bring their pet to his home (while off). That is not the actions of an individual who has no interest in the well being of your pet. I try to put myself in another person’s predicament before I pass judgment. Would I be able to satisfy every Client’s wishes? Would I be able to preform my duties perfectly? Would I be able to address bitterness (at times threats) with a true remedy? Please realize when a person is NOT perfect, does NOT mean they are incompetent or NOT able to perform their duties correctly. Remember we are speaking of a Doctor (Yes, a Doctor), a person who accepted responsibilities that MUST would never uphold. We are not speaking of a simple task, but situations that have multiple outcomes for a variety of reasons. I personally have had wonderful experiences at AAA. The doctor is well experienced, and performs a lot of procedures most veterinarians are not knowledgeable/experienced to execute confidently. By the way, the Wellness Program offered by this veterinarian is above & beyond any other competitor. I have researched all possibilities, including pet insurance and no one came close to match their fees. YES, I am a member of the Platinum Wellness Program and saved literally on everything for my AKC Registered Doberman, who will be in training as a professional Show Dog.

Mike took the time to explain future services for my elderly pup, he was able to quickly calm the anxiety of Maxine (12 yrs) and she even let him handle her posterior (something no one else can do)......

I just called and had a rude receptionist answer the phone. We just got a puppy and were looking to sign him up on a wellness plan. I had one simple question which was are the weight requirements listed for the wellness plans referring to their adult weight or the current weight. Kim laughs and says."You have a 75 pound puppy?" WHat does that have to do with my question and yes Kim I have a large breed puppy. I asked my question again because maybe she misunderstood me. She then responded about the price being $20 more, but that still didn't tell me which tier I would fall in. I heard nothing but good things about this Vet and was looking forward to bringing our new puppy here but we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Please do not go to this vet! I should have known after I read ear cropping was done here, but still went anyway....boy do I wish I had listened to my instincts. I took my dog in for what I thought was a simple eye issue. The vet gave me steroid eye drops and said my dog just had an eye infection. I've never dealt with eye issues in a dog, so I took him at face value. Come to find out, it is general practice to do a stain on the eye to ensure there are not any ulcers. Giving steroids to a dog for an eye ulcer will make it worse very quickly. I had to go out of town and my vet sitter let me know that his eye was getting dramatically worse. I called the vet to get him seen again. I asked for no charge for the visit since they got it wrong the first time and they agreed to my request and simply put him on different eye drops. When I returned home, his ulcer had started to protrude out of his eye and he was in severe pain. I went to the vet's office and asked about the return visit while I was out of town. He continued to deny doing anything wrong. When I asked why he did not do a stain on my dogs eye the first time he said "he can tell by just looking." I asked that he return my money for the eye drops that made my dog's eye worse and he refused saying he already gave me so much for free. (I'm pretty its common practice to not make someone pay when they come back because of your screw up). I wished him luck with his practice as I clearly was not returning and he told me "Good, I don't need business from people like you anyway." Great way to run a business right? After confirming with 3 vets (including an eye specialist), they agreed that they would not have given any sort of drops without doing a stain first. Ultimately, my dog ended up having a $2,500 surgery. Save your pet from more pain and don't go to this vet.

I took my doberman puppy here for an ear cropping and vaccinations. I was referred here from friends and was nothing but happy with my experience. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and made me and my dog feel comfortable with every step of the process and answered all the millions of questions I had as a first time dog owner. Its also an extremely nice upscale office but yet the prices are completely fair and reasonable. Id recommend AAA to anyone who needs an honest fair priced Vetinarian.

Had a older cat that I needed declawed. They did all four claws for a reasonable cost. They even took care of her for two days to make sure she was healing fine before letting her go home. She made a 95% recovery in a month, and 100% in two months. She is doing great now and is even sweeter now. Guess the process allowed bonding time as she relied on us more than a cat normally does.

I found AAA Pet services through groupon and to be honest was only expecting to use them once. However Dr. Mike and his staff are super friendly, caring, compassionate, gentle and knowledgable towards my Luna and the other pets I have seen while in the office. As a first time pet owner, the prices were not outrageous and afforable. He is also upfront with prices, gives you an estimate prior to treatment, and even over estimates any cost so you can financially prepare on caring for your pet (which is greatly appreciated). I have been back a few times after the initial visit and also order my doggy Heartworm medicine through their easy online pharmacy. My only small greviance is that I wish they would pick up the phone faster. I am an inpatient Yankee and I do understand that they are a small staff busy tending to the care of animals, so I don't mind that much, hehehe. I can say that voice messages are returned in a timely fashion. Overall a great office with a great staff!

I heard about Dr. Mike and AAA Pet Services from a coworker who had nothing but great things to say and I am so glad for her suggestion. The folks there are professional and friendly, and the prices are good too, in my opinion. Since my dog needed a dental cleaning and various other things, I opted for the medium-level annual wellness plan (similar to pet insurance) which is $34 a month. It covers 2 office visits, a dental cleaning, several vaccines, unlimited nail trims, a heartworm test, a parasite exam & deworming, and a few other things. There is a cheaper option that provides less coverage and a more expensive option that includes more. Another plus is that they have a groomer on staff so it truly is a one stop shop for me. All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Mike and his staff.

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Mike since 1998. I moved away from NC for 11 years, and when I returned, my senior dog was having some issues that other vets were not helping with. I thought to myself "I should call Dr. Mike!". So glad I did... it was like we picked up right where we left off. He is easy to talk to, cost effective, thorough, and helpful. It feels like home, instead of a busy clinic where you are simply a number. I would recommend Dr. Mike to anyone.

We like our current vet, but they've kind of grown large. We liked them before, so it's time to give a newer, smaller vet a try. And here we are at AAA Pet Services Hospital.Located at a busy part of Park Road between Woodlawn and Tyvola, the facility is clearly a converted home. The waiting room is what used to be the living room, the patient consulting area happens in the kitchen and the treatment area and some kennels are in one of the side bedrooms. Not that there's anything wrong with a home that's now a pet hospital.For our service today, we brought one of our senior cats for a checkup after purchasing a coupon from Angie's List (we have a few others in our menagerie that will visit next). The exam was thorough, the doctor and his two assistants were helpful and efficient, and we were quite pleased with how it was performed and the results. They have the tools to examine the bloodwork on site, which is helpful. They're just a little limited for some of the more serious treatments like ultrasounds and whatnot.And then the bill. Well, we'd paid for a coupon on Angie's List that included all sorts of things. During the examination, the vet said that he didn't need all of the services included in that coupon and so instead of burning a $200 coupon, our bill was simply $76. Very nice and we can save that coupon for another visit with one of our other fur babies.Good service, nice warm fuzziness from the place and the staff. I think we may well have found a new vet.

I have read every review given by people experiencing AAA Veterinarian. I have noticed that most of the compliants are focused on not receiving the expected outcome. A complaint in that sense is understandable, but attempting to degrade a 20 YEAR medical practice by simple words is ludicrous. We all must understand that every patient is entirely different, under different circumstances. By my experience, I am sure the doctor has performed his best during every visit. I also noticed a person mentioned the doctor willing to allow the client to bring their pet to his home (while off). That is not the actions of an individual who has no interest in the well being of your pet. I try to put myself in another person’s predicament before I pass judgment. Would I be able to satisfy every Client’s wishes? Would I be able to preform my duties perfectly? Would I be able to address bitterness (at times threats) with a true remedy? Please realize when a person is NOT perfect, does NOT mean they are incompetent or NOT able to perform their duties correctly. Remember we are speaking of a Doctor (Yes, a Doctor), a person who accepted responsibilities that MUST would never uphold. We are not speaking of a simple task, but situations that have multiple outcomes for a variety of reasons. I personally have had wonderful experiences at AAA. The doctor is well experienced, and performs a lot of procedures most veterinarians are not knowledgeable/experienced to execute confidently. By the way, the Wellness Program offered by this veterinarian is above & beyond any other competitor. I have researched all possibilities, including pet insurance and no one came close to match their fees. YES, I am a member of the Platinum Wellness Program and saved literally on everything for my AKC Registered Doberman, who will be in training as a professional Show Dog.

Mike took the time to explain future services for my elderly pup, he was able to quickly calm the anxiety of Maxine (12 yrs) and she even let him handle her posterior (something no one else can do)......
Mike took the time to explain future services for my elderly pup, he was able to quickly calm the anxiety of Maxine (12 yrs) and she even let him handle her posterior (something no one else can do).... our whole family uses AAA pet services and it's nice being recognized when I'm bringing in another pet for one of my extended family. We just got a westie pup and he too will be going to visit Dr Mike. Thanks for all you do!

I just called and had a rude receptionist answer the phone. We just got a puppy and were looking to sign him up on a wellness plan. I had one simple question which was are the weight requirements listed for the wellness plans referring to their adult weight or the current weight. Kim laughs and says."You have a 75 pound puppy?" WHat does that have to do with my question and yes Kim I have a large breed puppy. I asked my question again because maybe she misunderstood me. She then responded about the price being $20 more, but that still didn't tell me which tier I would fall in. I heard nothing but good things about this Vet and was looking forward to bringing our new puppy here but we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Please do not go to this vet! I should have known after I read ear cropping was done here, but still went anyway....boy do I wish I had listened to my instincts. I took my dog in for what I thought was a simple eye issue. The vet gave me steroid eye drops and said my dog just had an eye infection. I've never dealt with eye issues in a dog, so I took him at face value. Come to find out, it is general practice to do a stain on the eye to ensure there are not any ulcers. Giving steroids to a dog for an eye ulcer will make it worse very quickly. I had to go out of town and my vet sitter let me know that his eye was getting dramatically worse. I called the vet to get him seen again. I asked for no charge for the visit since they got it wrong the first time and they agreed to my request and simply put him on different eye drops. When I returned home, his ulcer had started to protrude out of his eye and he was in severe pain. I went to the vet's office and asked about the return visit while I was out of town. He continued to deny doing anything wrong. When I asked why he did not do a stain on my dogs eye the first time he said "he can tell by just looking." I asked that he return my money for the eye drops that made my dog's eye worse and he refused saying he already gave me so much for free. (I'm pretty its common practice to not make someone pay when they come back because of your screw up). I wished him luck with his practice as I clearly was not returning and he told me "Good, I don't need business from people like you anyway." Great way to run a business right? After confirming with 3 vets (including an eye specialist), they agreed that they would not have given any sort of drops without doing a stain first. Ultimately, my dog ended up having a $2,500 surgery. Save your pet from more pain and don't go to this vet.

I took my doberman puppy here for an ear cropping and vaccinations. I was referred here from friends and was nothing but happy with my experience. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and made me and my dog feel comfortable with every step of the process and answered all the millions of questions I had as a first time dog owner. Its also an extremely nice upscale office but yet the prices are completely fair and reasonable. Id recommend AAA to anyone who needs an honest fair priced Vetinarian.

Had a older cat that I needed declawed. They did all four claws for a reasonable cost. They even took care of her for two days to make sure she was healing fine before letting her go home. She made a 95% recovery in a month, and 100% in two months. She is doing great now and is even sweeter now. Guess the process allowed bonding time as she relied on us more than a cat normally does.

I found AAA Pet services through groupon and to be honest was only expecting to use them once. However Dr. Mike and his staff are super friendly, caring, compassionate, gentle and knowledgable towards my Luna and the other pets I have seen while in the office. As a first time pet owner, the prices were not outrageous and afforable. He is also upfront with prices, gives you an estimate prior to treatment, and even over estimates any cost so you can financially prepare on caring for your pet (which is greatly appreciated). I have been back a few times after the initial visit and also order my doggy Heartworm medicine through their easy online pharmacy. My only small greviance is that I wish they would pick up the phone faster. I am an inpatient Yankee and I do understand that they are a small staff busy tending to the care of animals, so I don't mind that much, hehehe. I can say that voice messages are returned in a timely fashion. Overall a great office with a great staff!

Dr Mike has cared for our animals for years, dating back to when he first started his mobile vet clinic. He is extraordinary at diagnosis and treatment. I have moved away and moved back to Charlotte and went right back to Dr Mike. Our dogs and cats all love him and he always goes the extra mile to find any issues they may have. I highly recommend him and do so regularly.

I heard about Dr. Mike and AAA Pet Services from a coworker who had nothing but great things to say and I am so glad for her suggestion. The folks there are professional and friendly, and the prices are good too, in my opinion. Since my dog needed a dental cleaning and various other things, I opted for the medium-level annual wellness plan (similar to pet insurance) which is $34 a month. It covers 2 office visits, a dental cleaning, several vaccines, unlimited nail trims, a heartworm test, a parasite exam & deworming, and a few other things. There is a cheaper option that provides less coverage and a more expensive option that includes more. Another plus is that they have a groomer on staff so it truly is a one stop shop for me. All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Mike and his staff.

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Mike since 1998. I moved away from NC for 11 years, and when I returned, my senior dog was having some issues that other vets were not helping with. I thought to myself "I should call Dr. Mike!". So glad I did... it was like we picked up right where we left off. He is easy to talk to, cost effective, thorough, and helpful. It feels like home, instead of a busy clinic where you are simply a number. I would recommend Dr. Mike to anyone.

We like our current vet, but they've kind of grown large. We liked them before, so it's time to give a newer, smaller vet a try. And here we are at AAA Pet Services Hospital.Located at a busy part of Park Road between Woodlawn and Tyvola, the facility is clearly a converted home. The waiting room is what used to be the living room, the patient consulting area happens in the kitchen and the treatment area and some kennels are in one of the side bedrooms. Not that there's anything wrong with a home that's now a pet hospital.For our service today, we brought one of our senior cats for a checkup after purchasing a coupon from Angie's List (we have a few others in our menagerie that will visit next). The exam was thorough, the doctor and his two assistants were helpful and efficient, and we were quite pleased with how it was performed and the results. They have the tools to examine the bloodwork on site, which is helpful. They're just a little limited for some of the more serious treatments like ultrasounds and whatnot.And then the bill. Well, we'd paid for a coupon on Angie's List that included all sorts of things. During the examination, the vet said that he didn't need all of the services included in that coupon and so instead of burning a $200 coupon, our bill was simply $76. Very nice and we can save that coupon for another visit with one of our other fur babies.Good service, nice warm fuzziness from the place and the staff. I think we may well have found a new vet.
