We are a veterinary referral practice specializing in the diagnosis and management of diseases of the skin, ears, and claws. We work closely with local, family veterinarians throughout North and South Carolina and also Savannah, Georgia in order to provide specialized care for dogs and cats with skin disease.

This is prob the 1st time I have walked out of a vet with a huge bill without feeling gyped! My shih tzu has been having progressive dermatitis so I was referred by her primary vet. We were there for an hour and 15 minutes with a at least 85% of that time spent with care being provided to my dog.We had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Heather Willis-Goulet. She was very personable, thorough and knowledgeable regarding the symptoms that my dog was having. The vet tech, Chantelle, was also great with handling my dog and keeping her at ease. She conducted cytology testing to assist in developing my dogs care plan. My dog was ultimately prescribed a series of treatments, both medications and diet changes. An abundance of info was provided during the visit and for the first time I feel like there is hope that my dog will get better.

My sweet French Bulldog, Cash, has been seeing Dr. Fickle at SE Vet Derm & Ear Clinic for over a year and a half. Dr. Fickle has changed my dog's life!! Frenchies notoriously struggle with allergies and Cash is a rescue with a sketchy past and has a lot of health problems with his skin and allergies being a huge issue for him! Dr. Fickle and his team helped us through a very severe staph infection and were able to find a bath and topical management solution along with an antibiotic that finally got Cash on the road to recovery.The ladies at the front desk know Cash and me by name and are always SO sweet and welcoming when we come in. They take the time to answer any questions and are even willing to ship your dog's prescription food or treats to you if you are unable to make it to the office. Cash is always SO happy to see them! He loves ALL of the vet techs and also adores Dr. Fickle.Some people will complain about the cost of a canine dermatologist but the specialized knowledge has changed my dog's quality of life significantly. He is happier and healthier because of Dr. Fickle and the whole team at SE Vet Derm and we can't recommend them enough!!

The doctor and staff here are wonderful! They were very accommodating and thorough when I brought in my cocker spaniel for evaluations and then allergy testing. It has taken years (and many different veterinarians) to finally figure out why he scratches and has constant ear infections. I'm so happy to have the results and know for sure. We now have him on a medication routine and he's already feeling better since first visiting the Southeast Veterinary Dermatology & Ear Clinic three months ago.

Very impressed with thier thoroughness, my Ollie a hound mutt had been suffering for years with dander, hair loss, scratching and total discomfort, he was miserable. The doctor got on the floor with Ollie and he and his nurse took samples from all over his body. After they were done sampling, we got back the results, he put Ollie on the medicine and within a few days he started looking better and stopped the constant scratching.I thought the bill was very reasonable considering the time they put into this problem.Thank YouDavid DrewSide note, he did have me try Bravecto for fleas, I am not convinced thier is not a problem with that drug, I think Ollie had a bad reaction to it I will not be using it again.

I cannot thank Dr. Thomas enough for everything he's done for Natti! He is amazing and really takes the time to explain everything to you. In one visit he gave us more information than the other two vets I saw combined. Natti has made a 100% recovery and I am so so glad!!

Dr Randy Thomas - is the greatest most kind vet specialty dr.'s that Aggie and I ever had the pleasure to work with during Aggie's life. Aggie visited Dr Thomas as a pup with my mom in Waynesville NC and later in Charlotte - I inherited Aggie and all her little ailments. Dr Thomas was the best. He suspected Cushings very early on and sure enough all these years later the Cushings rated its ugly self and we treated her for 12 months till yesterday - 6-12-2015. We have not seen Dr Thomas a few years cause Aggie's skin started improving. Then last year the cushings symptoms came on strong. Even though, if Dr Thomas has been her family doctor we would have been to totally on top of it the first time I took her to the vet for the symptoms. I guess the only good thing..... her hair and skin were beautiful during the last year. first time her belly had fur----I often wished Dr Thomas could have seen her belly...so funny. We will miss her. But I know that doctors like Randy Thomas was Moma Sandy being the best pet owner I could ever be. Thanks for being wonderful Dr Thomas. Aggie turned 16 years old in March - she passed comfortable with assistance from Lap of Love at our home - yesterday 6-12-2015

My pug Rocky, suffered terrible ear infections. He saw Dr. Terri in Savannah. She & her staff are very kind & compassionate. She takes the time to answer all questions, is very thorough, & an excellent Vet. If we have any problems in between visits, she is just a phone call away! They always go the extra mile to ensure you & your pet are comfortable! This means a lot to me!! Thank you, Dr. Terri, Dr. Thomas, & staff for the kind, compassionate caring you have all shown!! Thank you Dr. Terri for getting Rocky on the road to recovery!!! You're the best!!!

This is prob the 1st time I have walked out of a vet with a huge bill without feeling gyped! My shih tzu has been having progressive dermatitis so I was referred by her primary vet. We were there for an hour and 15 minutes with a at least 85% of that time spent with care being provided to my dog.We had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Heather Willis-Goulet. She was very personable, thorough and knowledgeable regarding the symptoms that my dog was having. The vet tech, Chantelle, was also great with handling my dog and keeping her at ease. My sweet French Bulldog, Cash, has been seeing Dr. Fickle at SE Vet Derm & Ear Clinic for over a year and a half. Dr. Fickle has changed my dog's life!! Frenchies notoriously struggle with allergies and Cash is a rescue with a sketchy past and has a lot of health problems with his skin and allergies being a huge issue for him! The doctor and staff here are wonderful! They were very accommodating and thorough when I brought in my cocker spaniel for evaluations and then allergy testing. It has taken years (and many different veterinarians) to finally figure out why he scratches and has constant ear infections. I'm so happy to have the results and know for sure. We now have him on a medication routine and he's already feeling better since first visiting the Southeast Veterinary Dermatology & Ear Clinic three months ago.

Very impressed with thier thoroughness, my Ollie a hound mutt had been suffering for years with dander, hair loss, scratching and total discomfort, he was miserable. The doctor got on the floor with Ollie and he and his nurse took samples from all over his body.
