Took our almost two-year old husky here for his yearly check-up and shots. Scheduling was a breeze. The staff was very friendly over the phone and was transparent about the costs. We arrived on a Thursday morning. Ample parking available behind the building. Poop bags and trash cans were available in the parking lot. We were immediately greeted upon walking in. We were about 5-10 minutes early, and they let us know that they were getting a room ready for us. The wait wasn't long at all. The clinic was clean.The techs were very professional and knowledgeable. They explained what to expect from today's visit and that Dr. Goodwin would be seeing us. Dr. Goodwin was wonderful. She, too was very knowledgeable. She was very familiar with huskies because she grew up with them. She answered all of our questions about husky care as well as pet insurance. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. There were the first to actually diagnose our kitten and helped us through a very difficult decision. As good as it gets in this area... the best. The LKN area can offer up some pretty high end options for healthcare and pet care... shoot, even plant care.  MSVH does a phenomenal job of providing the best care with the best experience.My dogs have been going to MSVH for a few years now and the experience has been above and beyond what previous vets have provided.  Don't get me wrong, every vet I have been to has taken great care of my dogs but Main Street just takes the cake.  The staff are phenomenal, making sure your pets feel safe and comfortable while they are being treated.  They also do a great job ensuring owners feel comfortable as well, educating on you on the treatment options and providing best practice judgement.  There are many great options for veterinary care in the LKN area but if you want great people too... check these guys out. First of all, the office staff is incredibly organized and I love that they go by her name for the appointment (it's cute! like she has her own little doctor's appointment). They fit me in literally the next day for her appointment too, and when I arrived a few minutes early they were already prepared to see her. The office is very clean and tidy, with windows in the individual examination rooms. The technician, Haley, was so nice and put down a HEATED towel and some catnip to make my kitty more comfortable. She instantly rolled around in it and became way more relaxed, jumping around the windows and being her usual self. And then Haley went a step further and moved some stuff on the window so kitty could jump on the window and look outside (she loves looking outside). Dr. Manzie took her time explaining everything to me, did a thorough examination, and gave me great recommendations for her diet. I had a concern and she meticulously examined it to make sure it wasn't an issue. The staff really does care about the animals that come in and their well being. I will never take my kitties to another vet (I've already scheduled for my other one to go in to see them in the next couple of weeks!), if they were to move I don't care how long the drive would be, very much worth it. We take two dogs here! They have such a friendly staff from the moment you walk in! They will offer additional services but never feel like They are trying to charge you an arm and a leg which is great! The pups love them! I have had all the doctors in the past but this time, I had Dr. Mainse. She understood my emotional breakdown over my 11yr. old greyhound with the surgery for cancer. She called me and updated me with surgery, lab work and finally results. She was fully engaged with the surgery and family too. I initially went to Main Street Vet for a second opinion on an skin issue one of my 3 dogs was having but after that visit and the care my dog received they have become the only place I trust taking my pets to. I have three small dogs and each has been in a couple of times and we have seen all three Doctors and they all are extremely compassionate and caring about the pets they see. They take the time to listen to your concerns and have addressed issues with my dogs that other vets misdiagnosed or didn't seem to care to truly address.
