This is a HORRIBLE PLACE! I lived in Statesville where I have a vet and been going there for at least ten years. I moved to Sherrills Ford and wanted to use the nearest vets to my home. WELL my adorable puppy got bit by a dog. A two month old puppy in extreme pain. They saw her right away BUT afterwards I told them I wont have the money until Friday...(it was a Tues) and they could take my Visa number etc and run the card Friday morning. I also told them that Im good to my word, to call my old vet. ( who always worked with me on pay if needed) THEY REFUSED AND WOULDNT GIVE THE POOR PUPPY THE PAIN MEDS THAT WERE $13 !!!!! My puppy was shaking and in so much pain. The puncture went through her cheek all the way to the inside of her mouth!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I HAVE SEVENTEEN ANIMALS which by the way, I told them that I would bring all my litters of pups etc to them. (bringing them tons of business. I moved to North Carolina in 2007. Even before looking for my own Doctor, I was searching for a vet that would care about my Triton as much as I did. If your from here, you know there are a fair amount to choose from. Since I lived in Mooresville at the time. I chose someone there. Even after moving to Denver two years later, deciding it would probably be best to keep the familiarity of the same clinic for Triton's sake. Until driving home from a groom appointment one day; and realizing "The Man of My Life" didn't look so hot! Something was definitely wrong! I remembered seeing Dr. Cannady's Clinic on 150. So I immediately pulled in and begged for an emergency appointment. The staff was so good with us, and Dr. Cannady came right out to talk to me. She promptly took my boy back and assessed him. After a coupe bags of fluids, some tests and lots of TLC from the Doctor and Crew. My guy was back to his old self! I will always be grateful, and I think it goes without saying... She hasn't been able to shake us since :) The knowledge, compassion and all around care of Dr. Cannady and her staff are impeccable! If your not a patient currently. This is by far the best veterinary clinic around. My mother has been bringing her two dogs and three cats there for years and recommends them to everyone. I recently got a puppy and my mom wouldn't let me take her anywhere else except to see Dr. Cannady and the staff at Little Mountain, even though I live over 30 minutes away and pass at least 6 vets to get there. It is well worth the trip. Dr. Cannady and the staff at Little Mountain are not only very nice but they genuinely care about your animals and are there to help. They even called to check up on our sick puppy! I would HIGHLY recommend this vet! You will not be disappointed with the services, prices, Dr. Cannady or the staff. Read Less

The doctor here is very capable but does not like to do anything but simple shots and checkups. Several times I've had trouble getting a straight answer about the treatment options for my dogs - we always go around in circles and I never get a clear understanding. Also, they charge you for every little thing they do and recommend shots that my dog doesn't need -- so I always end up paying over $100.00 at the end of my visit. Not my favorite Vet. Read Less

I used to like this office and doctor. Over the past year they have just become a terrible office. They do not schedule annual visits for your pet when they should. They do not keep you informed of your pets needs. I just took my tiny miniature pinscher in for a nail clip today and paid $15 dollars for it. They informed me the price would go up the next time she comes because she is difficult. Mind you they have been clipping her nails for over 2 year and all of the sudden she is difficult and the price will go up. $15 is already high seeing that they clip them in 5 minutes. The staff is not what it used to be either. The office manager 2 years ago was much more informative and made sure my pets annual visits were set up. It may be time for this doctor to either get a staff in there that can do what they are suppose to do or retire. I will be switching my pet to Westport for her next visit. It is a new clinic in the Denver area that I have only heard wonderful things about. Read Less
