Their interest is in lining their pockets! NOT your pet! They also do a bait and switch! Was quoted $53 on the phone for a Proheart vaccine. Went for visit and had a $279.00 bill! My pet had a physical and all his shots in January elsewhere. That practice did not offer Proheart vaccine for heartworms! So I made an apt at Dobson Vetinary for this vaccine. They knew everything and I brought records. They required a $35.00 NEW physical and a heartworms test (my pet had one in July and it is only done yearly) and a $165.00 blood test! They would not give my pet the vaccine (which he has been on for 3 years) without paying for all these unnecessary and costly tests! And my pet had just had a physical 4 weeks prior! #extortion Not to mention, the techs were rude! They got me once. I was almost in tears! But you know what they say about fool me twice! I will NOT be back. Will drive to Winston Salem or Greensboro to a reputable vet that offers Proheart if I have to! Read Less

When I took my first baby to Dobson Veterinary Hospital, the service from the entire staff was exceptional. Everyone was friendly, kind, and most of all loving to my baby girl. The facility was immaculate. Baby girl has an eye problem and I wanted her checked out completely. I was given an estimate before the tests, so there were no surprises when I went to check out. Then my baby boy started feeling bad, so I took him there. He got excellent treatment also and is feeling better already. I cannot praise the doctor and staff enough. I took my pet to see Dr. M. and i was pleased with her veterinary skills, however I felt that she treated her employees very rudely and Im sure that they did not appreciate in the least bit being cursed by their boss in front of customers, It made me feel like she might abuse them and then my pets care could be sacrificed.
