My daughter found a nine week old kitty under her house. They took care of him like he was their own. He got shots and flea medicine and he had worms so kitty was taking medicine but over the weekend he got really bad and we called the dr. Since I moved to Dunn, NC I found a vet (Jennifer Beasley) that is awesome with my dogs at Dunn Animal Hospital........BUT they offer grooming and they are horrible, I was quoted one price and then when it came time to pay it was higher!! They didn't trim up the dogs...I only wanted a trim not even a full grooming and they still smell like they did when I took them in and they had them 7 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guarantee I will not be returning.......so if you live in Dunn and need a groomer find someone else!!!! It cost me 106 dollars for two small dogs and one nail clipping............ Read Less

I'm not the type of person to post bad reviews, if I'm unhappy with a business I just go somewhere else. But I've just had the most unprofessional groomer visit in my life. The vet seems to be very good but the groomer is unbelievably unprofessional. We were given one price on the phone and another when we picked the dogs up, 7 hours after they were dropped off. When I tried to explain the problem I had the groomer and 2 nurses immediately go on the defensive and try to verbally spar with me. Long story long, we will NOT be back and don't recommend their grooming services to anyone else. Read Less

This is my first review that I've ever taken the time to write but i had to. This is an amazing vet! I had my Fawn Dobermans ears cropped here and they did the most amazing job! If i remember specifically it was Dr. Brewer. I lived in Raleigh and would commute to see her and she was always very flexible to make sure his ears were doing well. Reasonably priced too. I loved that i never felt pressured to buy or do anything that wasn't necessary. Sometimes i feel like some vets pad paychecks off of sick dogs or certain circumstances and at this vet they were very real about every thing and just felt extremely honest. It felt like they were not only trying to help my dog but also look out for me. Great place! I would bring my dogs here regularly if i lived closer. Read Less

I'm new to the area and was looking for a prescription for heart worm prevention for my dogs, specifically Revolution. I purchase their meds from an outside source as it's less expensive for the product, not to mention, Revolution is getting more difficult to find for canines. I called Dunn Animal Hospital to see if they would write a prescription and the woman on the phone was terribly rude. She snapped back ""we don't do that!"" (meaning write prescriptions to take to outside vendors). My previous veterinarian wrote prescriptions, albeit, for a small fee, but it is my right to be able to choose where I have my prescriptions filled. As my dogs' health is more important than saving a few bucks, I called back later to see if they even carried Revolution for dogs and was greeted by one of the most ignorant girls with whom I've ever spoken. First she said that if I brought in documentation that proved my dogs have been on Revolution in the past, they'd be able to sell it to me. (I find it interesting that they will test an animal and not write a prescription, but allow an animal to go untested, and sell you their own products...). She then asked for the weights of my dogs, which I gave her, and I also told her I'd need a year supply. She put me on hold just to return to tell me they quit carrying the product for dogs and only stock the feline version. Because I have been through so many products and only Revolution seems to work on my dogs, I asked if they'd be able to write a prescription or order it for me. Again I was told it couldn't be done, but they had several other products from which to choose. In summary: 1) The reception staff is extremely rude 2) The reception staff is not schooled on the products and services offered by the clinic 3) The reception staff doesn't listen to, nor respect the needs of the patient 4) The clinic prohibits patients from exercising their right to select pharmacies of their choice This was all experienced without stepping one foot in the clinic. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I hope others consider taking their furry and feathered friends elsewhere for healthcare. Now I'm left driving over forty minutes each way to take my pets to a clinic that truly cares. It's worth it. Read Less

My dog had an abscess on her face, and I hadn't taken her to a vet since we moved to the Lillington area, so I decided to put my faith in Dunn Animal Hospital. I must say, I am very pleased! The doctor and staff seemed to genuinely care about my girl. I got her an appointment the same day I called, so the wait time was exceptional, and the prices were reasonable.
