Some staff are questionable. And the owner changes policies with how she feels that day. Not professional business, but seems they do well with the animals. Mine died and still left with 1000 bill with no surgery when I was quoted 800 WITH surgery. They worked with me on the bill but was it still substantial. Will NOT be taking a pet here again, try Dunn animal hospital, much better.

So far we have had nothing but excellent care from Dr Abby. My Doberman has a serious and fatal heart condition (DCM) and we thought he was not going to make it. Dr Abby pulled off a miracle save with him and thanks to her treatment he is still hanging in there and doing really well. The cardiologists at UNC we’re very impressed with the care and knowledge Dr Abby exhibited in Reis’ care. We have also taken a barn cat to them for emergency eye removal and after they fixed his eye, they were also able to improve his back end issues from a birth defect. I work in human medicine and I would say that they are better for my pets than most people doctors are for people. Thank you Dr Abby for all of the extra time with my best friend. And thank you for making it good quality.

I called to see if my dog could be seen today. It was 4:10 when I called, and the lady said you can bring him but you’ll be put behind appointments and I specifically asked about walk-ins. I said that’s fine and made a trip to Dunn. I got there at 4:20 to stand in line 15 minutes for them to tell me they don’t take walk-ins. I explained I had called and was told they did, and then they acted like that could’ve never happened. Instead of seeing a paying customer, because they were ready to leave, my dog (who is scratching so bad, from probably an allergy, he is bleeding) was turned away. Completely unprofessional.

I've been to this clinic with 2 different pets. The first was a stray kitten we named Bella. The staff and Dr. Miller were all very kind and friendly. The next time was with my eldest dog Clothespin....
I've been to this clinic with 2 different pets. The first was a stray kitten we named Bella. The staff and Dr. Miller were all very kind and friendly. The next time was with my eldest dog Clothespin. He was very sick. He had a fever and fluid on his lungs. Kelly (one of the staff members) and Dr. Miller treated him with such love. They called to check on him throughout the week. At 5am Thursday morning my beloved Clothespin passed away in his sleep. We were met at the clinic with hugs and love. They took care of him just as gently and compassionately in death as the did in life. They listened to our stories about him and looked at pictures of him. This was one of the hardest days of my life but I am grateful to the Vetcare staff for all their caring, love and compassion.

I took my puppy on 12/9/16 and the appt. went great and I was very impressed with the visit. My puppy had an appt. today at 11:00 and we got to the appt. about 10 min. early. We waited to be seen about 45 min. we were put in the exam room and we did the questions and the temperature which was about 3 minutes, we then waited another 25 minutes to see the Dr.. I seen people coming in after us and getting seen before us. The Dr. said the wait was because of doing xrays on the pet before us. What should have been a 15 min. visit turned into over an hour and a half. Not feeling happy about this Vet anymore. My time is valuable too!

This place is ridiculous. Not only does it wreak of pet urine and feces, but the customer service (or extreme lack of) is horrendous. Expect nothing but hours of waiting and not being acknowledged.

Watch out for vets for pets I went in on Friday July 8th to have my cat looked at as he was not acting right I had to wait a long time to be seen granted I was a walkin. It was decided to get a senior panel done which is a blood test that cost $98.00. They said the test results would be back on Saturday by 1pm by one employee then the vet dr. said it would be Monday that they would call me. Well it's Monday afternoon at 2:30 still no call back. I called them only to find out the blood test hasn't been done yet and they were not even going to call me to let me know it was delayed. I then said I want a refund and they say well we can't Refund because it got to the lab late. How is that my fault!!!!! They are quick to take payments before services are rendered but are not quick to help you out when they make a mistake. All I ask for is a refund for a service they did not hold up to on their part. If I don't receive a refund BBB will get a call today!!

I had a very good experience at Vets for Pets. Dr. Miller is very knowledgeable. Vet tech Donna is so good at her job. Even the cashiers was so helpful. I was very happy with Vets for Pets. Last time I came, I waited almost 3 hrs to get puppy shots, this time I come to drop off a pup to get neutered and buy 6 months of heart guard. They charge my card then tell me they are out of all sizes for heart guard and flea and tick treatment that they just charged me for but that's is fine because I can just come back wed and pick it up then. I have taken 2 hrs off work and live 30 mins away and work in the opposite direction. These folks up here have no respect for other people's time. It's so frustrating. Who charges someone 114$ for something they don't have and doesn't bother to tell them they don't have it? It's something every time I come here. I really have given them chance after chance but it's so caotic in there, it makes me feel uneasy about their care if the front is so unorganized, what is going on in the back?

I always have to call several times before I get an answer and last time I called I was on hold for 7 minutes before I finally hung up and called back.
The vet assistant that I had both times I went was rude, and didn't handle my small dog well, (she seemed afraid of him because he was growling- though he never snapped - and seemed very frustrated with us both times).

The staffs nice, and it may take awhile for them to check your pet if you don't have an appointment, but they know what they're doing, I took my dog here back in May cause she got hit by a car, they took two X-Rays, and told me her pelvis is broken, they offers surgery, or a month and a half of bed rest, I choose bed rest. They gave me a bottle of pain killers to last a month and a half. She's better now a running around! Okay that's all! I recommend this place just make an appointment!

This place is ridiculous. Not only does it wreak of pet urine and feces, but the customer service (or extreme lack of) is horrendous. Expect nothing but hours of waiting and not being acknowledged.

Watch out for vets for pets I went in on Friday July 8th to have my cat looked at as he was not acting right I had to wait a long time to be seen granted I was a walkin. It was decided to get a senior panel done which is a blood test that cost $98.00. They said the test results would be back on Saturday by 1pm by one employee then the vet dr. said it would be Monday that they would call me. Well it's Monday afternoon at 2:30 still no call back. I called them only to find out the blood test hasn't been done yet and they were not even going to call me to let me know it was delayed. I then said I want a refund and they say well we can't Refund because it got to the lab late. How is that my fault!!!!! They are quick to take payments before services are rendered but are not quick to help you out when they make a mistake. All I ask for is a refund for a service they did not hold up to on their part. If I don't receive a refund BBB will get a call today!!

I had a very good experience at Vets for Pets. Dr. Miller is very knowledgeable. Vet tech Donna is so good at her job. Even the cashiers was so helpful. I was very happy with Vets for Pets. They are taking good care of my cocker spaniels. Satisfied since 2009! Prices are so reasonable. I recommend a visit.

Last time I came, I waited almost 3 hrs to get puppy shots, this time I come to drop off a pup to get neutered and buy 6 months of heart guard. They charge my card then tell me they are out of all sizes for heart guard and flea and tick treatment that they just charged me for but that's is fine because I can just come back wed and pick it up then. I have taken 2 hrs off work and live 30 mins away and work in the opposite direction. These folks up here have no respect for other people's time. It's so frustrating. Who charges someone 114$ for something they don't have and doesn't bother to tell them they don't have it? It's something every time I come here. I really have given them chance after chance but it's so caotic in there, it makes me feel uneasy about their care if the front is so unorganized, what is going on in the back?

I always have to call several times before I get an answer and last time I called I was on hold for 7 minutes before I finally hung up and called back.
The vet assistant that I had both times I went was rude, and didn't handle my small dog well, (she seemed afraid of him because he was growling- though he never snapped - and seemed very frustrated with us both times).

The staffs nice, and it may take awhile for them to check your pet if you don't have an appointment, but they know what they're doing, I took my dog here back in May cause she got hit by a car, they took two X-Rays, and told me her pelvis is broken, they offers surgery, or a month and a half of bed rest, I choose bed rest. They gave me a bottle of pain killers to last a month and a half. She's better now a running around! Okay that's all! I recommend this place just make an appointment!
