I give 5 stars for Dr. Grinstead because she is AMAZING with Lucas who has "bipolar" issues LOL!! I strongly recommend keeping all your receipts to cross-reference. Personally, I like to know what I'm being charged (or maybe I'm just overly concerned about my bill). There have been occasions where I have questioned certain charges which I'm told "the tech puts in the computer." I guess I'm spoiled because with my previous vet (whom I had a longstanding relationship with and by the way has retired), knew I was "retired" and on a fixed income. Depending on the amount, they would set up an automatic draft 3 installment payment plan (so I wouldn't have to pay the entire amount at one time) or if the bill wasn't too much, they would go over my bill with me and if there was something we could adjust (purchasing my medicines online, etc), they were always willing to accommodate. Trust me, if my vet hadn't retired, I would have NEVER left! But I TRULY LOVE DR GRINSTEAD!! I guess you can't have your cake and it it too..... Read Less

We brought our puppy Tango in for his first visit. We were recommended by a friend, and the experience from the time we walked in the door until we left was very pleasant and welcoming. We did not have to wait long and were given lots of information to care for our new pup, as we are first time dog owners. Thank you for providing a great experience. Read Less

I’ve been taking my fur babies to Dr. Grinstead for years. And I will continue as long as my fur babies are they remain with me. And since Eno Animal Hospital takes such good care of them, that will be for many years to come. Read Less

First Visit Great! Took Frank in for check up and to establish care. Reception was OK going in but excellent checking out. Debbie the Vet Tech was excellent. I really liked Dr. Peace. He is friendly, kind, knowledgable and did a good job with Frank. Prices are great. Of course Frank is worth it. I can recommend them. Read Less

i will not take my yorkie to eno animal hospital again ever. 524.00 for a teeth cleaning. I should have followed my gut instincts and go to carver animal hospital as I normally do for teeth cleaning because they  give a price before the procedure of 360 . I feel ripped off at eno animal hospital. Eno gave me a price range between 250 to 800 dollars. And told me its 524 because of 4 extractions. I requested to speak to the vet but she never came out . She leaves the staff to deal with all the dirty work while she hides some where to not address a unhappy customer.. I don't even know if 4 tooth was really extracted. Lost trust in Sabrina the vet at eno animal hospital. I received no picture of the work that was done, only a diagram. I will follow up with the other vet to determine if 4 tooth was extracted . But I still feel ripped off. Never again Read Less

Unfortunately this review is about everything besides the vet I met, she was nice and genuinely seemed to care about my dog.  I took my dog for her 2nd appointment for a bunch of shots and other stuff, it was around $230.  The lady told me about their "insurance" plan which I passed on and told her I would just be paying each time I came.  She also came back with the cost of that day's service to compare the two and I still passed on their "insurance" plan.  The dog got her shots and I paid the bill in full.  A couple months later I started getting letters saying that she didn't have one of the shots she needed and I called back to figure out why they didn't give it to her because it was part of the deal.  She looked it back up and found out they did give her the shot but they owed me $20...then she changed her mind and said I owed her $20.  Regardless, I told her we would talk about it next time I brought my dog in.  Then they start sending me collection letters, adding interest and threatening and sending me to collections over the $20.  Know that they were also sending me $20 coupons off my next visit at the same time which is just insanely silly.  This has put such a bad taste in my mouth I felt like I needed to Yelp review them just in case somebody else is getting the same after visit service.  Obviously they have lost me as a customer which I hate because the I liked the vet but the billing practices seem very shady and I hate feeling like I'm getting duped.Update Dec7...Now they've put $22.72 in interest on their $22.38 erroneous bill.  They also told my new vet that they weren't going to release my pets records to them but I told I still wasn't going to pay it and they ended up doing it anyway.  STAY AWAY FROM ENO Read Less

Great vets, all of them. My pup is huge and not trained real well and he loves his vets. They treat him well and he listens to them more than he does to me. Whenever we have a concern we call and get straight answers. My son in law gave me the dog and found this vet for me, it is a great match. Read Less

I will never take my fur baby anywhere else! I have been a few times and referred my mother to the Eno Animal Hospital as well but my first grooming experience had me in tears.  It had been while since I was able to take my westie to be groomed so he needed a lot of work.  They did such a great job that I didn't even think it was him when they finished.  I even asked if it was my dog.  That's how great he looked.  My words on this review cannot express who thankful I am to Eno Animal hospital.  The groomers work miracles and I highly recommend this business! Eno Animal Hospital saved my dog's life. I had just moved to the area in 2012, and didn't have a vet yet in Durham.On the way out of the house, my dog found a chicken bone and started choking. He was trying to cough it out but couldn't and was salivating. He was panicking, hurting and struggling to breathe. I vaguely remembered a sign for the animal hospital while passing it on the road. I scooped my dog in the car and brought him to the hospital. They immediately brought him into the operating room and the team assisted in removing the bone lodged in his throat with forceps. Afterwards, they only charged me $20 for a normal visit. I couldn't be more gracious for there immediate response. Read Less

Paid for a full work up for my mini schnauzer and left thinking that he was fine. Got a call within a month stating that he was not fully vaccinated and would immediately need more shots at my expense!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! You won't know fully what you're getting. Hi my name is Lesley and I am a client of Eno Animal Hospital and I have been bringing my animals here for a number of years. I absolutely love all the staff at Eno Animal Hospital! They are both professional and super friendly which I think is so important. In particular, I have an 8 yr old mixed breed dog who has some fear/shyness about her in public, especially when it comes to coming in to see the doctor. It was always a little traumatic for her and us, but yesterday was a special day! She hopped right out of the car and pranced right into their office, even letting the vet tech weigh her. This is a huge deal for her and us, which goes to show, that her trust in them has been built up! To us this speaks volumes and really made our day! My experience with Eno Animal Hospital has been nothing sort of amazing! I've had the pleasure of meeting most of the staff and they are all great! Dr. Grinstead and her team have treated me and my pets with the utmost amount of love, care, and respect! Every time I make an appointment, I always request to be seen by Jenna (one of the vet assistance). She's a very kind, sweet woman and my animals seem to really like her. Now, as for Dr. Grinstead, she is unlike any other veterinarian I have ever met. When I had to have my cat put down, I could see the sorrow and compassion in her eyes. As I sat there crying, I could see her sitting there trying to fight back tears. It showed me that this is more than just a job to her. We have been going to this vet since I was a child (I'm now 30). We love them, the vet has gone above and beyond in researching and trying to diagnose our current dog. So far they have seen two of our cats and three of our dogs. I use them now that I have grown up, that's how much I like this vet. Read Less

I can not begin to express the confidence I have in Sabrina and her staff. We recently had a mishap that could have been disastrous! Our new puppy Dave decided to find an old mouse trap hidden in the back of the pantry about 10 years previously. Knowing that the poison was an anticoagulant, I knew he needed medical attention. I contacted Sabrina who instructed me to induce vomiting and to bring him to her immediately. Sabrina and her staff were the calm in the storm. I can't think of a better place to care for my animals. Eno Animal Hospital has always provided the best and loving care for my German Shepherd Roxie. Other vets that I have taken her to have been nervous around her because of her breed, one even muzzled her. Dr. Grinstead never once treated Roxie as a scary Shepherd, she immediately joins my pup in the floor and lets her give nervous kisses making her feel more comfortable. They give follow up phone calls to see if Roxie is feeling better, a step that no other vet has taken. The techs are always very friendly and accommodating. I can t say enough good things about Dr. Grinstead and the folks at Eno Animal Hospital. She has show such compassion with our animals.
