The vets and staff here are very friendly and have been helpful on the 2 occasions I have visited. They offer weekend hours on Saturday and SUNDAY which has been a really big help when my dog had some gastric distress over the weekend. They follow up with a call a day or so later to make sure your pet is improving.

This vet is BY FAR the most expensive vet I have ever visited. I just took my healthy dog in for an annual wellness exam, and it was almost $400 WITHOUT preventatives. I took a look at my annual bill from 2018 with almost the same exact tests and shots at a different vet and it was $185. Is there a reason this vet charges $36.50 for a Bordetella booster when my other vet charges $16.75? How about charging $30.20 for 8 oz of Miconahex+Triz spray I can buy on Amazon for $20.35? My other vet lets me know when things are cheaper elsewhere but apparently that isn't a thing at Park. They also charged me for an anal gland expression during this $400 vet visit (!!), which has been complimentary in literally every vet exam I have ever taken my dog to. When you do go for only an anal gland expression, it usually costs less that $27, which is what this vet charged me on top of all the other charges. I also got hit with $170 for blood work. The other vet charges $90. I decided to do my dog's annual exam at this vet's office because I liked them *slightly* more than my other vet, but after this bill I am never going back. The veterinary care here is not TWICE as good as the care elsewhere. My dog's Bordetella vaccine is not more than twice as effective coming from this vet than from another vet. Dogs are expensive enough. You don't need a vet that is basically running a scam too.

This was exactly what I envisioned my vet's office to be. I have my first dog, so I didn't exactly know how to find a vet. Also, I'm a highly specialized nurse so I'm pretty critical of the experience. My first vet around here was just meh and got the job done. When my dog got sick they couldn't take me because they only had one vet on (on a weekday!?!?) so I looked around and found this place who took us that day. We saw Dr. Crocket and she was fantastic. She gave me a whole menu of options after assessing my husky and then I was free to choose my own plan according to my judgement and cost. I got the bill to $200 from $600 and she was actually very supportive of my plan - to take some of the services, see how he did, and revisit the other options if he didn't get better. I was amazed at how low-pressure the environment was. Felt like collaborative care. I love this place.

I really liked Park Vet. I have spent thousands of dollars with them over the last few years. I inherited a Chihuahua with bad teeth, my older Pit was diagnosed with Cushings disease after thousands of dollars of tests by one doctor,after another, more experienced vet there told me she did not have Cushings and took her off the treatment, and she improved. I decided to board my Pit and a larger mixed dog with them for a week while on vacation. I picked them up and my mix headed straight for the door and scratched to leave the place and i asked my husband to take them outside while I paid. When we got home, I realized my pit had a lot of injuries to her feet and legs that were not mentioned when I called to check on them or when I picked them up. I confess, I did not ask to see where they would be housed because it is a pet hospital and trusted them. However, I was appalled by the condition my dog was returned to me! I was told she wanted to cover up her breakfast every day which accounted for the injury on her snout, and chose not to sleep on the bedding they provided. I left a voicemail on the practice's managers voicemail about my concerns and have not heard back. Look at the photos, and make up your own mind. I will not give these folks, who I thought the world of, my business again. Very upset, hurt, and disappointed!

My brand new 70lb rescue dog jumped out of the car window on our way home. Try finding a vet at 4:30PM in Saturday...These folks were open and wonderful - they cleaned him up and got him stitched up. The dog is petrified of going to the vet and shakes like crazy, so they let us wait outside and call us in when they're ready. And they treat us really well. A lot of vets are nice but these guys go the extra mile.

She is helping us through a very sudden and difficult illness with one of our cats. She is intelligent, kind, excellent with our cat who does not like going to the vet, and she is outstanding in the compassionate way she communicates. Very disappointed after an initial good visit. My dog has a skin condition that after taking to nc state vet hospital we figured out it was caused by the over the counter flea medicines. She has been on this medication for 3 years, well before I took her to park and has been doing great on it. However her new flea medication. Requires a prescription to order. I took her to park to establish a local vet for my pup and they gladly filled the prescription the first time for me. Now that she’s due for more medication, they have declined prescription unless I schedule a vet visit. No change in her health or symptoms and a medication she needs that she’s been on for years before they treated her. Now she’s being decline until I bring her in. She’s up on all her vaccinations and no reason she needs to be seen. I will be taking my pets elsewhere. Extremely disappointed as I even called for clarification and received none other than she’s due for a wellness visit. My dog is well, please just fill her prescription so she can stay bug free. Apparently that’s Too much to ask of this vet wo paying additional fees.

They are extremely knowledgeable and caring. I wouldn’t trust my Golden’s care to any other Vet practice. We even travel 30 minutes from our home to get there. The kindness starts at the front desk staff who are extremely efficient and so caring with scheduling, prescriptions and appointments working hard to answer every question. The Vet techs are so friendly and always available for any questions we may have.

This is hands down the best veterinarian I've ever taken my cats to. Customer service and front office staff is always kind and accommodating. The vet techs have all been professional and gentle with our cats. Dr Goodwin is a top notch veterinarian. She always takes time explaining things and is always honest and upfront with us. She saved our cat's life by thinking outside the box for her treatment. She is always quick to respond when we have questions. She had cared for our 2 elderly cats, and her gentleness was beyond what we could ask for for our cat Gus. She realizes our cats are our family. There are not enough words to thank her for all she's done. This is the place to go for your pets. We are moving away from the area and will still continue to use Park Vet.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Park Veterinary Hospital. I could write a novel here but will sum things up in just a few words. They listened, they took the time to understand our specific needs (and the needs of our dog) and they came up with a plan that successfully accomplished that! I am very grateful to have found Dr. Hunt and her wonderful team!
We are new to the area and have a geriatric dog that is terrified(that’s an understatement) of the vet. We haven’t successfully gone to the vet for over 8 years. We previously had mobile vet care at our home but haven’t found a new vet since moving. This week we had an emergency that required our dog being treated at a vet hospital and from the first interaction with Park Veterinary Hospital they were wonderful! A calming presence on the phone, very knowledgeable, and willing to think outside the box a bit. Our dog successfully underwent a procedure with Dr. Hunt and had the most thorough exam she’s had in years. I never felt pressured, everything was explain so clearly at every step of the way, and they made a stressful situation much less stressful. I highly recommend them and cannot thank them enough for the care they gave us!!

I LOVE Park Vet. My brother has been a customer of theirs for two years and we recently made the switch from Falconbridge Animal Hospital to come here. We had some issues with receiving proper treatment for a recurring health problem that afflicted all of our cats and came to Park Vet to seek a second opinion.From the minute we got into the exam room it was a totally different experience from what we were used to. Dr. Beth Carroll took the time to listen to our worries and frustrations and didn't rush through the exam (she was with us for a good 45 minutes, it was awesome). They gave us tons of useful facts and information about how to make sure we got the most out of the treatment, instead of just handing us a bill and sending us on our way. Dr. Carroll immediately chose a treatment that was less stressful for our animals, one that we had mentioned time and time again to our previous vet to no avail. She even sent us a handwritten card in the mail a couple days later thanking us for coming in and gave us her card/telephone number to call her if there were any lingering issues. That right there, is something that you hardly ever see anymore. We are happy to call Park Veterinary Hospital our new home. Also, they have sign out front with hilarious pet puns on it. How can you not love that?

We took our purebred and rescue cats here 2008-2012 while we lived in the area and were happy with the exception of feeling a bit uncomfortable during interactions with Dr Carroll. We moved 30+ miles away and have missed Park. Especially Dr Lauren Whitley and her compassionate care. I take my cats and, now I have a dog, to the local vet for standard visits but when complex issues arise, Park Vet is at the top of my list. It is worth the drive. These days I am happy to still see Dr Whitley and now to work with Dr Gonzalez, who brightens low spirits and whose bedside manner is second to none. The front desk staff and the veterinary technicians cannot be forgotten. They warmly welcome us in, regardless of how busy they may be. I have always felt like they consider us part of the family and I know they look out for our furbabies as if they were their own. One last thing...I love that Park staff is available on weekends. That takes dedication. Thank you.

Dr. Carrol is an amazing vet who really listened to our concerns with our cat and had a lot of great advice on how to continue his care.
It's tucked away in the woods so it's hard sometimes to get in and out to the road on but I've found my new vet for sure.
She's great with animals and was super thorough and I look forward to my cats next check up.

The entire staff at Park Veterinary Hospital is friendly, helpful and attentive! The service is outstanding from the minute we walk in the door. Virtually no wait time in the main waiting area, so we are in an exam room quickly. One of the staff is in the exam room within a minute and our process is underway. The veterinarians and technicians are hands on with our dog and communicate throughout the entire exam process. Dr. Phil McHugh as built a fabulous hospital with a caring staff! So glad we are clients!

I recently moved to the Durham area and had not yet chosen a vet. Our kitty was having trouble with her paw so I called Park Veterinary Hospital which is located close to my home. They were able to fit her in quickly and at a time that worked with my schedule. We saw Dr. Hunt who was terrific. She was very compassionate and thorough, not to mention, patient with all our questions. I especially liked the fact that she was open to our thoughts about the situation and was nonjudgmental. Dr. Hunt and the staff were very respectful and followed up right away to see how our kitty was doing. It was nice have direct access to the veterinarian! I would highly recommend Park Veterinary Hospital.

Park Veterinary Hospital is our go-to place for Holly, our dachshund. Dr. Hunt is extremely personable and did a great job walking through the situation when Holly was sick. Barry was also a huge help during that visit. Dr. Falato took care of spaying Holly and was wonderful as well. Overall, we've had excellent experiences at Park Vet, and we will continue to bring Holly there in the future.

I just took one of our cats in for what we assumed was an ear infection. As soon as they peeked at him, they knew it was not. They recognized an abscess from a cat fight immediately and knew exactly what to do! This group of professionals always knows when to act quickly with aggressive treatment and when to take a more passive approach. They always take the time to develop a rapport with our animals before evaluating them and show affection for them throughout their visit. I trust that the folks at Park Veterinary Hospital have my pets' best interests at the forefront of their thought processes, instead of themselves or our wallets. These are truly good people, for whom we are VERY grateful. Thank you to Dr. Whitley and to the rest of their awesome team!

I've had sky since she was 3 weeks old and she's been seeing park vet ever since. Every time I take her for her check ups I always feel comfortable going and confident when I leave being that she is my first dog. Sky is now about 8 weeks old if not more weighing 12.5 pounds which is also probably more by now. Everything Park Vet does is out of love and I couldn't be more happier taking my baby there.

I tried to get my Bearded Dragon seen there after I discovered a growth in his mouth. Even though I was told over the phone during the initial appointment setup that they do in fact treat Reptiles, I got the run around later that day and the next. I was called by their office repeatetly, trying frantically to refer my to another pracitce. After the second phone call I called the second one I was referred to and it ended up being a Wildlife Refuge Center, not even a Vet. Park Vet didn't even bother to do the research.....they just didn't want to see my Beardie. He could have died and they could have cared less. I ended up finding a great doctor at a practice just up the road at Falconbridge Animal Hospital. Very happy there but not at this one.

I had a great experience with the people at Park Vet. They were able to see me quickly, was in and out in an hour. They gave me lots of good information that my previous vet did not. The people who work there are so nice and clearly love animals and people! They will let you leave your pet for the day if, like me, you work long hours, and take care of whatever needs doing, then you pick up at the end of the day. No charge for the 'boarding'. Highly recommend.

I recently moved here and had to quickly find a vet for my dog. I found a troubling lump on her on Sunday and called on Monday morning for an appointment and they saw us later that day. They made my dog feel at ease through the exam and eased my worrying mind and watery eyes. You know how tough it is when you are worried about your pet. The care they showed her and the empathy they showed me left me in awe. Without hesitation I would recommend them anyone. I hope my pup never has to go back except for annual exam but if she does I know she'll be i ngreat hands.

Both of our pets, Murphy our dog, and Max our cat, are seen at Park Vet. We have found the care there to be excellent. Recently, our dog, Murphy was run over by a car. He sustained several injuries and had to have surgery on his front leg and tail. The vets were wonderful. They stayed late, even on weekends, to take care of Murphy and be sure he was healing well. They were kind and compassionate and very thorough with their care. The charges for emergency and surgical care were fair. Murphy is now recovering and still loves to go see his friends at Park Vet. I would recommend this vet without any reservations.

I came on to let everyone know what a great Vet Hospital I found and was shocked to see all the negatives. My experience was totally different. I switched vets because I wasn't happy w/ my other one. These guys were very nice and professional. They offered to get my history from my other vet, made the appointment for the same week and said they couldn't wait to meet me and my dog Ginger - even called her by name. Then, when I got there the place is so nice inside-no smells, staff was welcoming. I agree they looked a little busy and maybe could have used another person up front, but when I checked out the same girl who helped in the room just went around and checked me out - with a big smile on her face. The Dr. was awesome, really friendly and gave me some ideas that my other vet hadn't about my pets health. Sorry the rest of you were unhappy, but I highly recommend them to anyone who wants great care for their pet.

I have found Park Vet to be extremely expensive. If you have a lot of disposable income, this place is wonderful. Their favorite saying seems to be 'to better assess the condition' and you can easily spend hundreds of dollars in cytologies, various levels of bloodwork, ultrasounds, etc. on each pet. You are best served by going in already armed with knowledge of treatment options and then fighting for reasonable courses of actions. This is not the place for practical solutions to pet health problems. I wish this level of healthcare was available for my children!

I found that they had a real attitude problem. They ignore what you tell them about your pet and will push lots of unnecessary meds and tests. I'm sure that they deal with all kinds of people, but as a conscientious owner who is with my dogs 24/7, I think I have a good understanding of their issues and I expect a vet to take me seriously when I talk to them.

It is definitely not a clinic for knowledgeable and assertive pet owners, who want more than basic vet care from veterinarians. Staff and doctors were friendly, but so are the ones in less expensive vet clinics.

I changed over to Park Vet from another local vet who I felt was too expensive for what I was getting. I can't say the prices are lower, but I feel that I truly get my $$'s worth from this group of professionals. They even send out ?aires to new clients to see how they can improve! How cool is that? My adult cat, who isn't fond of her annual visits was treated with a gentle approach, even when she was sassy! They were able to vaccinate her without stressing her out more than she already was. I have since adopted a sick kitten from the shelter and they have nursed her back to health. I was getting worried that she wouldn't make it and it was getting expensive with all the antibiotics, etc. but they explained everything so well to me that I never felt I was being taken advantage of. The proof is that my kitten is now well enough to spay! I highly recommend Park Vet. I've seen almost all of the Dr.s there and there isn't one I wouldn't recommend.

They follow up with a call a day or so later to make sure your pet is improving.

This vet is BY FAR the most expensive vet I have ever visited. I just took my healthy dog in for an annual wellness exam, and it was almost $400 WITHOUT preventatives. I took a look at my annual bill from 2018 with almost the same exact tests and shots at a different vet and it was $185. Is there a reason this vet charges $36.50 for a Bordetella booster when my other vet charges $16.75? How about charging $30.20 for 8 oz of Miconahex+Triz spray I can buy on Amazon for $20.35? My other vet lets me know when things are cheaper elsewhere but apparently that isn't a thing at Park. They also charged me for an anal gland expression during this $400 vet visit (!!), which has been complimentary in literally every vet exam I have ever taken my dog to. When you do go for only an anal gland expression, it usually costs less that $27, which is what this vet charged me on top of all the other charges. I also got hit with $170 for blood work. The other vet charges $90. I decided to do my dog's annual exam at this vet's office because I liked them *slightly* more than my other vet, but after this bill I am never going back. The veterinary care here is not TWICE as good as the care elsewhere. My dog's Bordetella vaccine is not more than twice as effective coming from this vet than from another vet. Dogs are expensive enough. You don't need a vet that is basically running a scam too.

Also, I'm a highly specialized nurse so I'm pretty critical of the experience. My first vet around here was just meh and got the job done. When my dog got sick they couldn't take me because they only had one vet on (on a weekday!?!?) so I looked around and found this place who took us that day. We saw Dr. Crocket and she was fantastic. She gave me a whole menu of options after assessing my husky and then I was free to choose my own plan according to my judgement and cost. I got the bill to $200 from $600 and she was actually very supportive of my plan - to take some of the services, see how he did, and revisit the other options if he didn't get better. I was amazed at how low-pressure the environment was. Felt like collaborative care. I love this place.

I really liked Park Vet. I have spent thousands of dollars with them over the last few years. I inherited a Chihuahua with bad teeth, my older Pit was diagnosed with Cushings disease after thousands of dollars of tests by one doctor,after another, more experienced vet there told me she did not have Cushings and took her off the treatment, and she improved. I decided to board my Pit and a larger mixed dog with them for a week while on vacation. I picked them up and my mix headed straight for the door and scratched to leave the place and i asked my husband to take them outside while I paid. When we got home, I realized my pit had a lot of injuries to her feet and legs that were not mentioned when I called to check on them or when I picked them up. I confess, I did not ask to see where they would be housed because it is a pet hospital and trusted them. However, I was appalled by the condition my dog was returned to me! I was told she wanted to cover up her breakfast every day which accounted for the injury on her snout, and chose not to sleep on the bedding they provided. I left a voicemail on the practice's managers voicemail about my concerns and have not heard back. Look at the photos, and make up your own mind. I will not give these folks, who I thought the world of, my business again. Very upset, hurt, and disappointed!

The dog is petrified of going to the vet and shakes like crazy, so they let us wait outside and call us in when they're ready. And they treat us really well. A lot of vets are nice but these guys go the extra mile.

Very disappointed after an initial good visit. My dog has a skin condition that after taking to nc state vet hospital we figured out it was caused by the over the counter flea medicines. She has been on this medication for 3 years, well before I took her to park and has been doing great on it. However her new flea medication. Requires a prescription to order. I took her to park to establish a local vet for my pup and they gladly filled the prescription the first time for me. Now that she’s due for more medication, they have declined prescription unless I schedule a vet visit. No change in her health or symptoms and a medication she needs that she’s been on for years before they treated her. Now she’s being decline until I bring her in. She’s up on all her vaccinations and no reason she needs to be seen. I will be taking my pets elsewhere. Extremely disappointed as I even called for clarification and received none other than she’s due for a wellness visit. My dog is well, please just fill her prescription so she can stay bug free. Apparently that’s Too much to ask of this vet wo paying additional fees.

They are extremely knowledgeable and caring. I wouldn’t trust my Golden’s care to any other Vet practice. We even travel 30 minutes from our home to get there. The kindness starts at the front desk staff who are extremely efficient and so caring with scheduling, prescriptions and appointments working hard to answer every question. The Vet techs are so friendly and always available for any questions we may have.

This is hands down the best veterinarian I've ever taken my cats to. Customer service and front office staff is always kind and accommodating. The vet techs have all been professional and gentle with our cats. Dr Goodwin is a top notch veterinarian. She always takes time explaining things and is always honest and upfront with us. She saved our cat's life by thinking outside the box for her treatment. She is always quick to respond when we have questions. She had cared for our 2 elderly cats, and her gentleness was beyond what we could ask for for our cat Gus. She realizes our cats are our family. There are not enough words to thank her for all she's done. This is the place to go for your pets. We are moving away from the area and will still continue to use Park Vet.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Park Veterinary Hospital. I could write a novel here but will sum things up in just a few words. They listened, they took the time to understand our specific needs (and the needs of our dog) and they came up with a plan that successfully accomplished that! I am very grateful to have found Dr. Hunt and her wonderful team!
We are new to the area and have a geriatric dog that is terrified(that’s an understatement) of the vet. We haven’t successfully gone to the vet for over 8 years. We previously had mobile vet care at our home but haven’t found a new vet since moving. This week we had an emergency that required our dog being treated at a vet hospital and from the first interaction with Park Veterinary Hospital they were wonderful! A calming presence on the phone, very knowledgeable, and willing to think outside the box a bit. Our dog successfully underwent a procedure with Dr. Hunt and had the most thorough exam she’s had in years. I never felt pressured, everything was explain so clearly at every step of the way, and they made a stressful situation much less stressful. I highly recommend them and cannot thank them enough for the care they gave us!!

I LOVE Park Vet. My brother has been a customer of theirs for two years and we recently made the switch from Falconbridge Animal Hospital to come here. We had some issues with receiving proper treatment for a recurring health problem that afflicted all of our cats and came to Park Vet to seek a second opinion.From the minute we got into the exam room it was a totally different experience from what we were used to. Dr. Beth Carroll took the time to listen to our worries and frustrations and didn't rush through the exam (she was with us for a good 45 minutes, it was awesome). They gave us tons of useful facts and information about how to make sure we got the most out of the treatment, instead of just handing us a bill and sending us on our way. Dr. Carroll immediately chose a treatment that was less stressful for our animals, one that we had mentioned time and time again to our previous vet to no avail. She even sent us a handwritten card in the mail a couple days later thanking us for coming in and gave us her card/telephone number to call her if there were any lingering issues. That right there, is something that you hardly ever see anymore. We are happy to call Park Veterinary Hospital our new home. Also, they have sign out front with hilarious pet puns on it. How can you not love that?

We took our purebred and rescue cats here 2008-2012 while we lived in the area and were happy with the exception of feeling a bit uncomfortable during interactions with Dr Carroll. We moved 30+ miles away and have missed Park. Especially Dr Lauren Whitley and her compassionate care. I take my cats and, now I have a dog, to the local vet for standard visits but when complex issues arise, Park Vet is at the top of my list. It is worth the drive. These days I am happy to still see Dr Whitley and now to work with Dr Gonzalez, who brightens low spirits and whose bedside manner is second to none. The front desk staff and the veterinary technicians cannot be forgotten. They warmly welcome us in, regardless of how busy they may be. I have always felt like they consider us part of the family and I know they look out for our furbabies as if they were their own. One last thing...I love that Park staff is available on weekends. That takes dedication. Thank you.

Dr. Carrol is an amazing vet who really listened to our concerns with our cat and had a lot of great advice on how to continue his care.
It's tucked away in the woods so it's hard sometimes to get in and out to the road on but I've found my new vet for sure.
She's great with animals and was super thorough and I look forward to my cats next check up.

The entire staff at Park Veterinary Hospital is friendly, helpful and attentive! The service is outstanding from the minute we walk in the door. Virtually no wait time in the main waiting area, so we are in an exam room quickly. One of the staff is in the exam room within a minute and our process is underway. The veterinarians and technicians are hands on with our dog and communicate throughout the entire exam process. Dr. Phil McHugh as built a fabulous hospital with a caring staff! So glad we are clients!

I recently moved to the Durham area and had not yet chosen a vet. Our kitty was having trouble with her paw so I called Park Veterinary Hospital which is located close to my home. They were able to fit her in quickly and at a time that worked with my schedule. We saw Dr. Hunt who was terrific. She was very compassionate and thorough, not to mention, patient with all our questions. I especially liked the fact that she was open to our thoughts about the situation and was nonjudgmental. Dr. Hunt and the staff were very respectful and followed up right away to see how our kitty was doing. It was nice have direct access to the veterinarian! I would highly recommend Park Veterinary Hospital.

Park Veterinary Hospital is our go-to place for Holly, our dachshund. Dr. Hunt is extremely personable and did a great job walking through the situation when Holly was sick. Barry was also a huge help during that visit. Dr. Falato took care of spaying Holly and was wonderful as well. Overall, we've had excellent experiences at Park Vet, and we will continue to bring Holly there in the future.

Very helpful - I especially love the drop-off service as the vet is close to my work, but not my house. I can bring my pup in for check-ups and leave her for a few hours while I go to work at no charge. This is HUGELY important to me and I'm thankful for how friendly and helpful the vets and staff have been to us.

Dr Nan Henderson is like a valued friend who has always treated my cat with the best of medical care and human caring. We don't live in the area any longer, but we think of her often. I have had my cat for 19 years, and she helped make that possible. I would recommend Park Veterinary Hospital very highly.

I just took one of our cats in for what we assumed was an ear infection. As soon as they peeked at him, they knew it was not. They recognized an abscess from a cat fight immediately and knew exactly what to do! This group of professionals always knows when to act quickly with aggressive treatment and when to take a more passive approach. They always take the time to develop a rapport with our animals before evaluating them and show affection for them throughout their visit. I trust that the folks at Park Veterinary Hospital have my pets' best interests at the forefront of their thought processes, instead of themselves or our wallets. These are truly good people, for whom we are VERY grateful. Thank you to Dr. Whitley and to the rest of their awesome team!

I've had sky since she was 3 weeks old and she's been seeing park vet ever since. Every time I take her for her check ups I always feel comfortable going and confident when I leave being that she is my first dog. Sky is now about 8 weeks old if not more weighing 12.5 pounds which is also probably more by now. Everything Park Vet does is out of love and I couldn't be more happier taking my baby there.

I tried to get my Bearded Dragon seen there after I discovered a growth in his mouth. Even though I was told over the phone during the initial appointment setup that they do in fact treat Reptiles, I got the run around later that day and the next. I was called by their office repeatetly, trying frantically to refer my to another pracitce. After the second phone call I called the second one I was referred to and it ended up being a Wildlife Refuge Center, not even a Vet. Park Vet didn't even bother to do the research.....they just didn't want to see my Beardie. He could have died and they could have cared less. I ended up finding a great doctor at a practice just up the road at Falconbridge Animal Hospital. Very happy there but not at this one.

I had a great experience with the people at Park Vet. They were able to see me quickly, was in and out in an hour. They gave me lots of good information that my previous vet did not. The people who work there are so nice and clearly love animals and people! They will let you leave your pet for the day if, like me, you work long hours, and take care of whatever needs doing, then you pick up at the end of the day. No charge for the 'boarding'. Highly recommend.

I recently moved here and had to quickly find a vet for my dog. I found a troubling lump on her on Sunday and called on Monday morning for an appointment and they saw us later that day. They made my dog feel at ease through the exam and eased my worrying mind and watery eyes. You know how tough it is when you are worried about your pet. The care they showed her and the empathy they showed me left me in awe. Without hesitation I would recommend them anyone. I hope my pup never has to go back except for annual exam but if she does I know she'll be i ngreat hands.

Both of our pets, Murphy our dog, and Max our cat, are seen at Park Vet. We have found the care there to be excellent. Recently, our dog, Murphy was run over by a car. He sustained several injuries and had to have surgery on his front leg and tail. The vets were wonderful. They stayed late, even on weekends, to take care of Murphy and be sure he was healing well. They were kind and compassionate and very thorough with their care. The charges for emergency and surgical care were fair. Murphy is now recovering and still loves to go see his friends at Park Vet. I would recommend this vet without any reservations.

I came on to let everyone know what a great Vet Hospital I found and was shocked to see all the negatives. My experience was totally different. I switched vets because I wasn't happy w/ my other one. These guys were very nice and professional. They offered to get my history from my other vet, made the appointment for the same week and said they couldn't wait to meet me and my dog Ginger - even called her by name. Then, when I got there the place is so nice inside-no smells, staff was welcoming. I agree they looked a little busy and maybe could have used another person up front, but when I checked out the same girl who helped in the room just went around and checked me out - with a big smile on her face. The Dr. was awesome, really friendly and gave me some ideas that my other vet hadn't about my pets health. Sorry the rest of you were unhappy, but I highly recommend them to anyone who wants great care for their pet.

I have found Park Vet to be extremely expensive. If you have a lot of disposable income, this place is wonderful. Their favorite saying seems to be 'to better assess the condition' and you can easily spend hundreds of dollars in cytologies, various levels of bloodwork, ultrasounds, etc. on each pet. You are best served by going in already armed with knowledge of treatment options and then fighting for reasonable courses of actions. This is not the place for practical solutions to pet health problems. I wish this level of healthcare was available for my children!

Costs too high, vets too busy to take the time to listen to owners, grumpy reception. Technically everything is there. But... this place is about high tech, don't bother the vet with the details 'cause he/she's too busy rushing to get to and charge the next patient using their inflated schedule of charges. You will be lucky to see the same vet twice. Find a more personal place. I am.

I found that they had a real attitude problem. They ignore what you tell them about your pet and will push lots of unnecessary meds and tests. I'm sure that they deal with all kinds of people, but as a conscientious owner who is with my dogs 24/7, I think I have a good understanding of their issues and I expect a vet to take me seriously when I talk to them.

I found the provided procedures not always geared toward the health of my dogs, but likely to generate income and to cover themselves for legal matters. It is definitely not a clinic for knowledgeable and assertive pet owners, who want more than basic vet care from veterinarians. Staff and doctors were friendly, but so are the ones in less expensive vet clinics.

I changed over to Park Vet from another local vet who I felt was too expensive for what I was getting. I can't say the prices are lower, but I feel that I truly get my $$'s worth from this group of professionals. They even send out ?aires to new clients to see how they can improve! How cool is that? My adult cat, who isn't fond of her annual visits was treated with a gentle approach, even when she was sassy! They were able to vaccinate her without stressing her out more than she already was. I have since adopted a sick kitten from the shelter and they have nursed her back to health. I was getting worried that she wouldn't make it and it was getting expensive with all the antibiotics, etc. but they explained everything so well to me that I never felt I was being taken advantage of. The proof is that my kitten is now well enough to spay! I highly recommend Park Vet. I've seen almost all of the Dr.s there and there isn't one I wouldn't recommend.
