I had a very good experience here. I had never owned a cat before. The Doctor/Staff answered all questions I needed to be answered and they was knowledgeable and very polite. Our big boy Wally has been a frequent guest of the boarding facilities at Central Animal. Wally knows he is going to Central Animal anytime he gets in the truck and my husband has his slow feed bowl! He absolutely cannot wait to get there. I had to take my cat of 16 years to them, so she could go on a different adventure. They treated her with the care and respect that I gave her all of her life. They made a difficult thing easier. They cared for her in life and they cared for in death. I know funeral homes that could take a lesson in the kind of care and respect they showed. My other cat is their patient and will continue to be, and when the time comes to get another pet, it will be under their care as well. You couldn't ask for any better care and love that they show. I have two cats and two dogs that I love like children and I'll not trust them to anyone else's care. I've twice encountered the other Animal Hospital near by and it wasn't a good experience. The person at the desk didn't make me feel welcomed she wasn't friendly at all and acted annoyed by having to do her job. The Vet there was nice enough and knew how to care for the issue at hand. I can honestly say at Central Animal Hospital I always feel welcomed, am greeted with a smile and all the staff seems to really care about me and my pets. I highly recommend all pet owners to choose Central Animal Hospital for all of your needs. Our cat ran off/went missing for a few days and we looked everywhere. she showed up last night and her eye looked horrible and was obviously infected and needed to be cared for or removed. something had attacked/hurt her so this morning we took her here only to be charged 40 dollars just to tell us her eye was infected and needed surgery. 40.00 dollars to just ask for help. I took my dog to this hospital since he was a puppy and he became sick at about 9 months old. I took him in and was told that he had whipworms. He was treated and they said that he would get better over time. A few weeks gone by and he still wasn't any better so they wanted me to bring him back in. They treated him a second time and sent me home with him saying that he would get better. A few weeks later I called and told them that there must be something else wrong with him and I was told that it just takes a little while to get over these worms. I decided to get a second opinion at another animal hospital near by and they immediately hooked him up to an IV because they could look at him and tell that he was severely malnurished. They done an x-ray only to find out that he had cancer and would require emergency surgery. He was 1year & 3months old and had to be put to sleep because the cancer was too wide-spread at this point to repair. I would be VERY cautious with this office. I will personally NEVER return. They do not listen to you and did not take the time to look into why my dog was so sick. Read Less
