Outstanding experience! Dr. Davis is extremely knowledgable and thorough in addition to handling my dog Brody with empathy and kindness, making him comfortable during the exam. The remaining staff was likewise friendly and efficient. Dr. Davis devised a logical treatment plan by her comprehensive approach to treat not only symptoms but causes as well. She is definitely someone that one can learn from. Through her thorough explanations that covered all of my concerns, I felt comfortable having my dog treated at Ambassador and will continue to recommend the aforementioned facility. Furthermore, the charges were plausible as well as feasible. I did not once have the impression that I was being sold and proposed treatment more than necessary which has certainly happened to me at other veterinary clinics in surrounding areas.

Our dog and 4 cats are all seen at Ambassador and we just LOVE all of them. The staff are absolutely AMAZING and Drs. Buerk and Davis are the best of the best. Many of our animals have special needs and everyone is wonderful and so accommodating when we have an emergency or a question. They take the time to make sure that you understand what's going on with your baby. We started going there 6 years ago when one of our cats had a seizure. I was nearly hysterical. They saw us at closing time and Dr. Buerk showed so much compassion towards me in addition to treating my kitty and making sure he was okay. After that, we transferred all of the other animals there. Dr. Davis is an amazing diagnostician and she doesn't stop looking until she has answers for you. We love her too. I have been a (human) healthcare provider for nearly 20 years and I have really high standards for care. This is the place you want to go, I promise.
We've also used their boarding services on occasion because one of our cats needs medicine three times a day. The staff all just love him and take great care of him when we travel. The staff at the clinic are amazing; they're all so friendly and helpful.
We have NEVER felt taken advantage of regarding price or time. Yes, we have had to wait on occasion when we had an appointment, but it was VERY rare and ALWAYS because there was an emergency with someone else's pet. There have been some negative reviews about their prices, but let me say this: when they want to do a procedure, they have always given me a quote first and in our experience, they work to save us money when we need tests or procedures done.
We've since moved to Clayton, but we haven't left their care and we won't. There's not another clinic like this one.

This is the best vet practice I have ever used. They are very knowledgeable, kind, accommodating. Front desk staff is friendly and attentive. They are a busy practice and give you attention as soon as they can. They have allowed me to bring my dog in right at closing more than once. Prices are reasonable compared to other vets. Dr. Burke is fantastic! She diagnosed a hard to spot cancer with my dog, and multiple times discovered unique causes of problems. 6months after my dog had surgery for anal sac cancer she located and removed internal protruding stitches that were causing him to scoot. She is always very professional and compassionate. My cats and dog receive excellent care, this is a solid vet. practice, don't be thrown off by the occasional negative review. Life happens.

Pay attention to services asked for once you leave your pets a period of time. My pet should have had a bath, but when picked up, it was not done. Had to go back to validate and explain. They fixed it however, this should not happen.

The time wasn't even important. The lady at the front desk rolled her eyes and gave me snottiest answer. My apologies for wanting to keep my dogs vaccinations up to date! So I left without being seen! One week later, my dog has kennel cough from just being in that office! Jeers to this place. Worst customer service ever!

I'm new to this area, and was referred to Ambassador Animal Hospital. While the staff were always very kind and friendly, the wait times were ridiculous. Each visit, we had to wait at least 30 minutes in the room before we were seen. Then, when my dog had to have a cyst removed from her paw, during post-op exam, the Dr. pointed the scissors the wrong way when cutting the bandage and cut my dog's leg open. They immediately took her to the back and put two staples in her leg. That whole incident was more painful for my dog than the actual surgery. No one even called to check on her after that either. I could not believe such a careless thing even happened during the Doctor's care, but the aftermath was much worse. I watched my dog limp around for days from the staples in her leg, not from the surgery she had. I would not trust this place with your animals ever.

From the receptionist to the veterinarian. I asked for a " what would you do" answer and I got just that. Dr Amanda E Buerk was incredible. I have a tremendous amount of respect for all who were involved in our dogs care. I will be bringing all of our animals to Ambassador henceforth.

I have been taking my dogs to Ambassador for a long time. The two fosters dogs that I cared for were seen there as well. Very professional staff, courteous, clean facilities. When they need bordering , they take into account each dogs personality and taste. Jack always leaves a present right in front of their reception desk. How embarrassing . They send reminders when they are due for their shots. Also I get a multi dog discount. Currently I am down to 3 dogs. I like the fact that is not a huge place, the staff remembers my dogs by name.

Had an appointment for my dog that was having some issues with arthritis. First time at this clinic, so I didn't know what to expect. They got me in and out in a timely fashion (the doctor was on time for my appt.), and everyone was really nice...however, compared to other vets I've been to, I felt Dr. Davis's knowledge and overall "medicine" was subpar. Will not be going back.

Rude and unprofessional staff. I thought on my 2 previous visits it was a fluke that my dog did not like one of the techs and vet, but 3rd visit, clearly something is wrong with the people that work here (animal sense). Never had such immediate protective responses from my weimeraner. The vet wanted to muzzle him. Psycho.
Our dog is a family member that not only regularly participates in doggie daycare, been through 2 bootcamps, but has travelled with us in 30 states.
The front desk staff is unorganized and incompetent. NEVER RETURNING! This place has a very BAD vibe.

I was fooled by the great reviews and the most accommodating doctors that will order any test that you can possibly think of applicable or not. This also comes with a hefty price tag not just for the tests but the medication, too. A pill that costs 0,73 cents is sold here for 1,42 $. What I felt was unacceptable, however, was that the meds were mislabeled. The staff seems to be so busy that they are not able to put the correct medication in the appropriate container. My advice, Google your pet's symptoms to get a clue as to what to expect and DEFINITELY check the medication they give you while you are still there. My suggestion to the hospital, maybe hire more staff before a mistake like this KILLS someone's family member.

I recently took my sweet Chihuahua to Ambassador Animal Clinic. I largely selected this clinic due to the online reviews and the proximity to my house. I called to make my pet's annual appointment and got in on the day I requested. Dr. Amanda Buerk was very attentive and gave my Chi a thorough examination. No, I don't know what should be included in a canine exam, but I can tell if someone is taking her time and actually mindful of the pet. I hate to say my Chi is sensitive, but okay, my Chi is sensitive. She doesn't do well travelling and or around a lot of strangers. All of the employees from receptionists, vet assistants to the doctor herself were very gentle to my sweet pup. I am glad I chose this clinic and will return.

My husband and I have been taking our pets to Dr. Davis for years. She is very knowledgeable, and she is also very compassionate and caring. She is clearly not in this job for the money, as one other reviewer suggested (and frankly, vets do not make as much money as one might think anyway). Dr. Davis genuinely cares about her patients as if they were her own pets (or children). She has provided excellent care for our dogs and cats --- even providing 5+ star care for our cat that was on a feeding tube for two years. She even recently gave her time and efforts to help us rescue an abandoned baby bird. Very few vets will go that extra mile, but Dr. Davis is always willing to go the extra mile for any of her patients. My husband and I are very picky about who provides care for our beloved pets, but we trust Ambassador and Dr. Davis completely. I would highly recommend her and her clinic.

We had just moved to the area when our 10 year Chessie got sick and we brought her to Ambassador Animal Hospital. Our new neighbors had recommended them and I am so glad they did! The office staff was friendly and we met with Dr. Cathlene Schultz. She spent time with us, getting to know our dog and her symptoms. She suggested some inexpensive tests that unfortunately showed that our beloved companion was dying and there was nothing we could do for her. Since our dog was not in pain, Dr. Schultz suggested we take our Gypsy home and love on her for the weekend. When we brought her back on Monday for the visit we dreaded, the staff and Dr. Schultz were so compassionate and caring. They allowed us to be with her, talk with her and spend time with her. It made a very difficult time much easier. And today we received a beautiful handwritten sympathy card from Dr. Schultz and the office staff. Wow. I am so thankful that we now have a wonderful place to take our other dog. I will continue to tell others of my experience at Ambassador Animal Hospital as it is something I will forever be grateful for.

The vets in this facility are very nice and seem to know what they are doing,however my baby is very hyper active and hard to control. The last place we had loved him still and were nice to him and me, but this place upsets me because they seem short with him and are always reather impatient with him. He looks sad when I leave him there to board hi,. He always used to be so happy when I used to board him at my previous vet clinic in Georgia. This is just my personal experience with them.

Outstanding experience! Dr. Davis is extremely knowledgable and thorough in addition to handling my dog Brody with empathy and kindness, making him comfortable during the exam. The remaining staff was likewise friendly and efficient. Dr. Davis devised a logical treatment plan by her comprehensive approach to treat not only symptoms but causes as well. She is definitely someone that one can learn from. Through her thorough explanations that covered all of my concerns, I felt comfortable having my dog treated at Ambassador and will continue to recommend the aforementioned facility. Furthermore, the charges were plausible as well as feasible. I did not once have the impression that I was being sold and proposed treatment more than necessary which has certainly happened to me at other veterinary clinics in surrounding areas.

We as a couple have used Ambassador Animal Hospital since 1986 and everyone has always been great!! We've had so many rescues and when taking in 3 or more pets at a time they gave us a discount!! Dr. Davis is great and very compassionate and understanding!! This by far is the best veterinarian office in this area!!

Our dog and 4 cats are all seen at Ambassador and we just LOVE all of them. The staff are absolutely AMAZING and Drs. Buerk and Davis are the best of the best. Many of our animals have special needs and everyone is wonderful and so accommodating when we have an emergency or a question. They take the time to make sure that you understand what's going on with your baby. We started going there 6 years ago when one of our cats had a seizure. I was nearly hysterical. They saw us at closing time and Dr. Buerk showed so much compassion towards me in addition to treating my kitty and making sure he was okay. After that, we transferred all of the other animals there. Dr. Davis is an amazing diagnostician and she doesn't stop looking until she has answers for you. We love her too. I have been a (human) healthcare provider for nearly 20 years and I have really high standards for care. This is the place you want to go, I promise.
We've also used their boarding services on occasion because one of our cats needs medicine three times a day. The staff all just love him and take great care of him when we travel. The staff at the clinic are amazing; they're all so friendly and helpful.
We have NEVER felt taken advantage of regarding price or time. Yes, we have had to wait on occasion when we had an appointment, but it was VERY rare and ALWAYS because there was an emergency with someone else's pet. There have been some negative reviews about their prices, but let me say this: when they want to do a procedure, they have always given me a quote first and in our experience, they work to save us money when we need tests or procedures done.
We've since moved to Clayton, but we haven't left their care and we won't. There's not another clinic like this one.

This is the best vet practice I have ever used. They are very knowledgeable, kind, accommodating. Front desk staff is friendly and attentive. They are a busy practice and give you attention as soon as they can. They have allowed me to bring my dog in right at closing more than once. Prices are reasonable compared to other vets. Dr. Burke is fantastic! She diagnosed a hard to spot cancer with my dog, and multiple times discovered unique causes of problems. 6months after my dog had surgery for anal sac cancer she located and removed internal protruding stitches that were causing him to scoot. She is always very professional and compassionate. My cats and dog receive excellent care, this is a solid vet. practice, don't be thrown off by the occasional negative review. Life happens.

Expensive and the organization seem to be understanding that based on the estimates we had for our animals procedures last year and now. More reasonable now. Pay attention to services asked for once you leave your pets a period of time. My pet should have had a bath, but when picked up, it was not done. Had to go back to validate and explain. They fixed it however, this should not happen.

My appointment for both of my dogs was for 10:20 and I arrived 10 minutes early to sign in. We sat and waited for 45 minutes so I went up to ask when they would call us back. The time wasn't even important. The lady at the front desk rolled her eyes and gave me snottiest answer. My apologies for wanting to keep my dogs vaccinations up to date! So I left without being seen! One week later, my dog has kennel cough from just being in that office! Jeers to this place. Worst customer service ever!

I'm new to this area, and was referred to Ambassador Animal Hospital. While the staff were always very kind and friendly, the wait times were ridiculous. Each visit, we had to wait at least 30 minutes in the room before we were seen. Then, when my dog had to have a cyst removed from her paw, during post-op exam, the Dr. pointed the scissors the wrong way when cutting the bandage and cut my dog's leg open. They immediately took her to the back and put two staples in her leg. That whole incident was more painful for my dog than the actual surgery. No one even called to check on her after that either. I could not believe such a careless thing even happened during the Doctor's care, but the aftermath was much worse. I watched my dog limp around for days from the staples in her leg, not from the surgery she had. I would not trust this place with your animals ever.

The most professional veterinary hospital that I have ever seen. Without a question of a doubt! I would recommend this clinic to anyone. The staff was courteous and professional. From the receptionist to the veterinarian. I asked for a " what would you do" answer and I got just that. Dr Amanda E Buerk was incredible. I have a tremendous amount of respect for all who were involved in our dogs care. I will be bringing all of our animals to Ambassador henceforth.

I have been taking my dogs to Ambassador for a long time. The two fosters dogs that I cared for were seen there as well. Very professional staff, courteous, clean facilities. When they need bordering , they take into account each dogs personality and taste. Jack always leaves a present right in front of their reception desk. How embarrassing . They send reminders when they are due for their shots. Also I get a multi dog discount. Currently I am down to 3 dogs. I like the fact that is not a huge place, the staff remembers my dogs by name.

I can tell you that Dr. Davis is everything I was hoping for in a vet when I moved to the area. Had an appointment for my dog that was having some issues with arthritis. First time at this clinic, so I didn't know what to expect. They got me in and out in a timely fashion (the doctor was on time for my appt.), and everyone was really nice...however, compared to other vets I've been to, I felt Dr. Davis's knowledge and overall "medicine" was subpar. Will not be going back.

Rude and unprofessional staff. I thought on my 2 previous visits it was a fluke that my dog did not like one of the techs and vet, but 3rd visit, clearly something is wrong with the people that work here (animal sense). Never had such immediate protective responses from my weimeraner. The vet wanted to muzzle him. Psycho.
Our dog is a family member that not only regularly participates in doggie daycare, been through 2 bootcamps, but has travelled with us in 30 states.
The front desk staff is unorganized and incompetent. NEVER RETURNING! This place has a very BAD vibe.

I was fooled by the great reviews and the most accommodating doctors that will order any test that you can possibly think of applicable or not. This also comes with a hefty price tag not just for the tests but the medication, too. A pill that costs 0,73 cents is sold here for 1,42 $. What I felt was unacceptable, however, was that the meds were mislabeled. The staff seems to be so busy that they are not able to put the correct medication in the appropriate container. My advice, Google your pet's symptoms to get a clue as to what to expect and DEFINITELY check the medication they give you while you are still there. My suggestion to the hospital, maybe hire more staff before a mistake like this KILLS someone's family member.

I recently took my sweet Chihuahua to Ambassador Animal Clinic. I largely selected this clinic due to the online reviews and the proximity to my house. I called to make my pet's annual appointment and got in on the day I requested. Dr. Amanda Buerk was very attentive and gave my Chi a thorough examination. No, I don't know what should be included in a canine exam, but I can tell if someone is taking her time and actually mindful of the pet. I hate to say my Chi is sensitive, but okay, my Chi is sensitive. She doesn't do well travelling and or around a lot of strangers. All of the employees from receptionists, vet assistants to the doctor herself were very gentle to my sweet pup. I am glad I chose this clinic and will return.

My husband and I have been taking our pets to Dr. Davis for years. She is very knowledgeable, and she is also very compassionate and caring. She is clearly not in this job for the money, as one other reviewer suggested (and frankly, vets do not make as much money as one might think anyway). Dr. Davis genuinely cares about her patients as if they were her own pets (or children). She has provided excellent care for our dogs and cats --- even providing 5+ star care for our cat that was on a feeding tube for two years. She even recently gave her time and efforts to help us rescue an abandoned baby bird. Very few vets will go that extra mile, but Dr. Davis is always willing to go the extra mile for any of her patients. My husband and I are very picky about who provides care for our beloved pets, but we trust Ambassador and Dr. Davis completely. I would highly recommend her and her clinic.

We had just moved to the area when our 10 year Chessie got sick and we brought her to Ambassador Animal Hospital. Our new neighbors had recommended them and I am so glad they did! The office staff was friendly and we met with Dr. Cathlene Schultz. She spent time with us, getting to know our dog and her symptoms. She suggested some inexpensive tests that unfortunately showed that our beloved companion was dying and there was nothing we could do for her. Since our dog was not in pain, Dr. Schultz suggested we take our Gypsy home and love on her for the weekend. When we brought her back on Monday for the visit we dreaded, the staff and Dr. Schultz were so compassionate and caring. They allowed us to be with her, talk with her and spend time with her. It made a very difficult time much easier. And today we received a beautiful handwritten sympathy card from Dr. Schultz and the office staff. Wow. I am so thankful that we now have a wonderful place to take our other dog. I will continue to tell others of my experience at Ambassador Animal Hospital as it is something I will forever be grateful for.

The vets in this facility are very nice and seem to know what they are doing,however my baby is very hyper active and hard to control. The last place we had loved him still and were nice to him and me, but this place upsets me because they seem short with him and are always reather impatient with him. He looks sad when I leave him there to board hi,. He always used to be so happy when I used to board him at my previous vet clinic in Georgia. This is just my personal experience with them.
