Very caring and wonderful Staff. I wish I would have started taking my three dogs to this facility earlier. The staff is awesome. Megan at the front desk is always so friendly and helpful. Dr. Burris and Dr. Jones are top-notch vets. They really seem to care about my boys. They answer any questions I have. I never feel rushed and they are very thorough when checking my boys. I’m passing this alone. Beware. This is not my dog but I’m passing along in hopes that any potential customers will consider this. Hank, the dog, was sent home just a few hours after his emergency abdominal surgery at Banfield Pet Hospital in Fayetteville, NC. Post surgery, we immediately took him to another emergency vet. The veterinarian there told us that Hank should’ve never been sent home and was facing severe complications with the medication Banfield prescribed for him to take. The staples were completely botched and will not heal correctly and will take twice as long to heal. Banfield is now trying to make me sign a settlement agreement relieving them of all liability that says I have to take down all previous social media posts about Hank's horrifying experience and can not tell anyone else what happened or else I will be sued. Please share this and warn others to stay as far away from this “pet hospital” as possible. Read Less

I've been using the vets at Banfield for about 6 months now. They get the job done. 4 stars bc they take care of her needs, but I couldn't give 5 due to the lack of compassion they seem to possess. I've heard them fuss with my lab for being too excited behind closed doors, and comparing other vet offices I've used in the past, they aren't very personal with her. But... They do their job, and I suppose that's the most important thing. Read Less

Front Desk: 0I was having a stress free day until I got to Banfield. My husband usually takes care of our dog's health care; visits, wellness checks, etc. Our dog was having trouble with his paw so I called in to make an appointment. I spoke with Barbara. I asked if I would have to pay anything for our dog to be seen. I told her that I was not familiar with the plan our dog is on. I asked her twice, just to make sure I wouldn't have to pay anything. She said no; so I made the appt. We arrived for the appointment only to find out that there was a hold on the acct. Barbara asked me did I want to pay the amount or reschedule. We stay quite a distance from Banfield. I reminded that I asked if I would have to pay anything. She said that she was busy with a customer when I called and didn't notice it. I asked to speak with the manager. I spoke with the manager, which was a VERY nice person. The doctor was very knowledgeable concerning what was going on with our dog. When leaving, Barbara did not say anything when we passed her, I told her to have a Great Day. My husband will have to continue to take our dog from now on because I really don't have time for poor customer service. If Barbara would've told me that there was a hold on the account, I wouldn't have traveled to the store. I would've informed my husband so he could pay whatever was needed to be paid and he could've scheduled a date. Read Less

Not an office concerned with patient care once so ever. Front desk staff very rude. They're main concern is selling their "wellness packages" and will do and say almost anything to achieve doing so. Unfortunately this does mean attempts at misleading the owner about their pet as well as giving misinformation. Not a family oriented office once so ever as well. All around would not recommend to anybody for any reason. Read Less

Anyways I have received nothing but great service and care to my dogs and when it comes to getting something done I always look at the options and they worked with me just fine. My husband brought in my dog today because he has scabs and has been scratching. The veterinarian was great and said we needed to do a test for mites and fungus a total of 70 dollars for us. They could have done the mites test (that should take 20 minutes and $35) and then if that was negative done the fungal ($35). I am extremely upset. The veterinarians have abused their knowledge and privilege to get another dollar from our family. We were members paying $25 dollars monthly, but after this experience we will not be using the Petsmart store or the Banfield Vets again. Read Less

My rating is a zero. It seems as if EVERY TIME my husband and I go to Banfield we are treated poorly. The women that work at the front desk and answer the phone are very VERY rude and condescending. I just spoke to Alana. Her attitude towards me was just completely unnecessary. I called to follow up with Dr. Burris (who is an amazig doctor) regarding my pet's medication. I couldn't recall Dr. Burris' name but she knew who i was referring to and ignored my questions. She claimed that they had not received a fax regarding the medication which she later found out wasn't true after she actually checked into it. Her attitude continued to be rude up until she hung up.The last time I brought my dog in I waited at the front of the desk for 10 minutes while the receptionist talked to a pet owner about her pregnancy. The receptionist never acknowledged me nor did say she would be with me shortly. I can't wait until my contract is up with this hospital.Awful customer service! Read Less

Worst place to take a pet. I took my mastiff to the vet thinking he might have parvo he was sick puking and direa. They tested him a everything came back neg. They said there must be a blockage somewhere n ur guna need to get xras on him. We couldnt afford it n he ended up passin away that night. My other mastiff the next day started tp have the same symptoms. We took her to another vet n saod she was infested with tape warms really bad. So we got her treatment n shes already looki better... these idiots at banefield let my male mastiff die cuz they coulf haeve treated him fpr tape worma n said that was not the problem said we had to do xras...they dot kno anything.Read Less

My husband brought in my dog today because he has scabs and has been scratching. The veterinarian was great and said we needed to do a test for mites and fungus a total of 70 dollars for us. They could have done the mites test (that should take 20 minutes and $35) and then if that was negative done the fungal ($35). I am extremely upset. The veterinarians have abused their knowledge and privilege to get another dollar from our family. My rating is a zero. It seems as if EVERY TIME my husband and I go to Banfield we are treated poorly. The women that work at the front desk and answer the phone are very VERY rude and condescending.
