This animal hospital provided me with such a unique experience. Kerri & Shelly, the two receptionists, were so kind and caring. Shelly handled me perfectly while I was crying and Shelly made small jokes after learning a little about me and lessened my stress while I was there worrying about my pup. Dr. Silvious was extremely professional and kind but also very honest with me which I very much appreciated. Kane was my vet tech I believe and he did a wonderful job of making my pup comfortable while he was in so much pain. Cole passed away today but I'm thankful that he was surrounded by so much love and care during his final hours. Can't thank them enough.

The doctor was fantastic, caring, and genuinely showed a love for taking care of animals. Our pets received great care while being seen. The only problem I have with this facility is the wait. My spouse and I waited a total of two hours and forty minutes. We waited one hour in the waiting room prior to the doctor calling us back, but we understand hospitals are busy places. We waited an additional hour after being seen, just to pay our bill. I can't imagine what kind of annotation had to take place before we could pay a bill. We are talking about doggy shots here not a pre-flight check list.If you are going to this hospital, just know you better download a movie on your phone or something because you will be there a while.

I highly recommend Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital for all of your pets medical needs. They will bend over backwards to help you and your animal. For example. My dog was injured the day before Thanksgiving and four hours before they closed. I called and with no hesitation they said to bring her in. I saved hundreds of dollars by not having to go to the emergency vet. And the icing on the cake? They won't break your bank account.

I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because they are so expensive and even if it's an emergency they aren't willing to work with you. If you dont have the money right then and there even I'd you have been with them a long time they wont work with you. However my Herc has always gotten the care he has needed. He broke his leg recently and they came to my aid the best the could within what I could pay them of course. Ultimately my baby needed more then they could provide and found different options based on what I could afford. Which was nice.

Very welcoming with an amazing staff and vet who really listened to my concerns of what was going on with my puppy. She had chewed on a pencil and piece of it stuck her gums causing inflamation, so everytime she yawned or ate it hurt. I couldn't see anything, but knew something was up- the Vet here got right to it, and identified what was going on. Gave meds and she was back to her normal self after the meds were completed! I went to another vet who just shrugged it off, so im glad i tried these amazing animal lovers.

My wife warned me about bringing my dogs to them, but because they were conveniently located close to where I live, I took a chance.
It started out well with the friendly staff, had a couple of visits before my bad experience with boarding.
This is what my wife had warned me about, but because of our good visits I moved forward with setting up boarding before I went on vacation. I called in and got a quote for $280, I was fine with that.
So the time came, I had to bring them in so I can go on vacation! Had $280 ready to be dispersed, but when the friendly woman on the front desk looked up my reservation.... she gave me a price of $420???
Of course I’m looking confused and asked why? Apparently there was a virus that has killed three dogs statewide and it’s now mandatory that my dogs get the vaccine before they can stay. What really got to me is that I called a day prior to confirm that I was still bringing my dogs and there was no mention of a mandatory vaccination.
I had no choice but to leave my dogs, because plane tickets were already paid for and it was the end of the day which made it to late to find another location.
I did call around when I got back, and found out that this so called mandatory vaccination for the state wasn’t even necessary. So I did get the charges they made taken off.
So beware and stay away, it was a headache that I shouldn’t have had to go through. I can only imagine on how many people they may have got with this.

We are animal rescuers. Sick, old, new to the world, we have accepted them into our home. I found Hope Mills via a quick review search. I trust them with my 14 year old world traveling Chihuahua that I have had since graduate school. They cleaned and pulled some teeth and he is acting like a puppy again. We have adopted a geriatric cat and a kitten since moving to NC. They took in both for screenings the day we got them, even though they were packed. The vets here are knowledgeable and friendly. This is top notch service. As a family that has worked in rescues and adopted from overseas and all over the country, I highly recommend Hope Mills.

I have been to a lot of different veterinarians over the years but I have to say that Hope Mills animal hospital is the absolute best. My indoor Cat had become very sick all of a sudden and I did not know what was wrong with him and immediately brought him to this veterinarian and Dr. Gray knew what was wrong with him within a short period of time. Dr. Gray and the staff there had given him some medicine and 2 prescriptions to go and in within a few days he was back to himself. One of the things I really liked about this veterinarian is that Dr. Gray took her time really going over my Cat and she was in no hurry at all and that is a sign of true caring and a real professional. The entire staff there was very professional and the place was very clean and sanitary as when I walked in it smelled very pleasant verses other veterinarians I have been to in the past that there was a horrible stench when I had walked in. I highly recommend Hope Mills animal hospital even if you have to drive out of your way or travel to get here as it is worth every single dollar. I was extremely satisfied and so was my Cat.

Terrific vet clinic and staff! Every time we come they treat us so well and like members of the family. Our little doxie went blind suddenly overnight and needed several check up appointments after being seen at a specialist. Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital was welcoming and patient with us in answering every question we had, when the specialists would not. Bonus is that they have very reasonable rates. It was suggested that we purchase a $40 test prior to a dental cleaning, but the results would not come in until 10 days past the cleaning.
This is a business, I get that, but my two dogs are family, and I need to know that their care comes before the profit margin.
I also want to mention something that really bothers me. On the last visit I noted the kittens for adoption. I really support this, but when asked about the cone, I was told that the kitten was neutered and declawed to ensure he was an indoor cat. This is a bad practice, especially in a semi-rural area like Fayetteville.

We have used Dr. Gray & Dr. Silvious for almost everything from annual vaccinations to dental work to major surgery and have had a great experience each time. I do not hesitate to contact them with any questions or concerns. Everyone takes the time to listen and respond in a caring and professional manner. The kennel staff is also wonderful and takes great care of my dogs whenever we have to go out of town. I have complete confidence in knowing my dogs will receive top-notch care, no matter the issue!

I think the staff and veterinarians here are knowledgeable and polite enough. The facility is well maintained, and prices are reasonable. However, with that being said... be aware that they are HUGE on over-vaccinating. They "require" your cats and dogs to be vaccinated for everything under the sun, to include non-core vaccines that may not apply to your pet. I do not know if they do this for the money or because they simply do not care to take the time to understand your individual pet's lifestyle. I would not completely disregard this clinic for this reason, but I would take it into consideration. I will note that I have worked as a technician in two Veterinary clinics in two different states over the years. In addition, my dogs are older and have been vaccinated their entire lives in 4 different states. I have never heard of so many "required" vaccines in my life and I think it is a hoax. I will admit, however, this is the first veterinary clinic I have visited in the state of North Carolina. With that being said, it could be a common practice amongst vets in the state, but it is not a good policy. I only wish I would have known this going into it.

I was given a different vet and I couldn't have been more disappointed with a very incompetent, vet who accomplished nothing but trying to charge me a lot of money. My pet did NOT receive anything like quality care that I had come to expect from Dr. Gray. Make sure you know what vet you are going to see if you risk taking your pet here.

Dr Gray provided excellent service a couple of years ago when my pet was seriously ill so when faced with another potentially serious problem I returned. I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINED by the new vet who rejoined the practice and saw my pet instead of Dr Gray. She was interested in charging a lot of money for little things like $10 to inject a medicine the pet probably didn't need-another $20. $10 to use a light to look at the pet. I expected to get a definite answer on a particular problem the pet's groomer saw but the vet was too busy trying to overcharge to even do a culture without my insistance. There was a lot more things she did to show her disinterest in the pet's welfare but I don't want to write a book. In the many years of seeing vets for many pets and this was the worst experience in my life. If you use this Animal Hospital, ask for Dr Gray. I'm going to another vet today for a second opinion because I can't trust this Dr. or her opinion.

Fantastic vet! We took our dog to a different vet for surgery yesterday and I get a call that my dog woke up and bit off some of her tail. Which they said was normal. We were told we could come get her but blood was everywhere so we couldn't bring her home. I went today and picked her up and they didn't even give her pain medicine for her stay so by the time I got to pick her up she was a wreck. They said the wrap had to just be changed when it started to smell. Something didn't seem right so I called Hope Mills animal clinic and they fit me in right away for them to make sure everything was done right. They have her pain medicine and showed me how upset they were over this. They then told me her tail wrap needs to be rewrapped every 2 days not to wait until it had a smell. Now my dog who has been through hell is now peacefully sleeping and isn't in pain. Thank you for being so great

This animal hospital provided me with such a unique experience. Kerri & Shelly, the two receptionists, were so kind and caring. Shelly handled me perfectly while I was crying and Shelly made small jokes after learning a little about me and lessened my stress while I was there worrying about my pup. Dr. Silvious was extremely professional and kind but also very honest with me which I very much appreciated. Kane was my vet tech I believe and he did a wonderful job of making my pup comfortable while he was in so much pain. Cole passed away today but I'm thankful that he was surrounded by so much love and care during his final hours. Can't thank them enough.

The doctor was fantastic, caring, and genuinely showed a love for taking care of animals. Our pets received great care while being seen. The only problem I have with this facility is the wait. My spouse and I waited a total of two hours and forty minutes. We waited one hour in the waiting room prior to the doctor calling us back, but we understand hospitals are busy places. We waited an additional hour after being seen, just to pay our bill. I can't imagine what kind of annotation had to take place before we could pay a bill. We are talking about doggy shots here not a pre-flight check list.If you are going to this hospital, just know you better download a movie on your phone or something because you will be there a while.

I highly recommend Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital for all of your pets medical needs. They will bend over backwards to help you and your animal. For example. My dog was injured the day before Thanksgiving and four hours before they closed. I called and with no hesitation they said to bring her in. I saved hundreds of dollars by not having to go to the emergency vet. And the icing on the cake? They won't break your bank account.

I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because they are so expensive and even if it's an emergency they aren't willing to work with you. If you dont have the money right then and there even I'd you have been with them a long time they wont work with you. However my Herc has always gotten the care he has needed. He broke his leg recently and they came to my aid the best the could within what I could pay them of course. Ultimately my baby needed more then they could provide and found different options based on what I could afford. Which was nice.

Very welcoming with an amazing staff and vet who really listened to my concerns of what was going on with my puppy. She had chewed on a pencil and piece of it stuck her gums causing inflamation, so everytime she yawned or ate it hurt. I couldn't see anything, but knew something was up- the Vet here got right to it, and identified what was going on. Gave meds and she was back to her normal self after the meds were completed! I went to another vet who just shrugged it off, so im glad i tried these amazing animal lovers.

My wife warned me about bringing my dogs to them, but because they were conveniently located close to where I live, I took a chance.
It started out well with the friendly staff, had a couple of visits before my bad experience with boarding.
This is what my wife had warned me about, but because of our good visits I moved forward with setting up boarding before I went on vacation. I called in and got a quote for $280, I was fine with that.
So the time came, I had to bring them in so I can go on vacation! Had $280 ready to be dispersed, but when the friendly woman on the front desk looked up my reservation.... she gave me a price of $420???
Of course I’m looking confused and asked why? Apparently there was a virus that has killed three dogs statewide and it’s now mandatory that my dogs get the vaccine before they can stay. What really got to me is that I called a day prior to confirm that I was still bringing my dogs and there was no mention of a mandatory vaccination.
I had no choice but to leave my dogs, because plane tickets were already paid for and it was the end of the day which made it to late to find another location.
I did call around when I got back, and found out that this so called mandatory vaccination for the state wasn’t even necessary. So I did get the charges they made taken off.
So beware and stay away, it was a headache that I shouldn’t have had to go through. I can only imagine on how many people they may have got with this.

We are animal rescuers. Sick, old, new to the world, we have accepted them into our home. I found Hope Mills via a quick review search. I trust them with my 14 year old world traveling Chihuahua that I have had since graduate school. They cleaned and pulled some teeth and he is acting like a puppy again. We have adopted a geriatric cat and a kitten since moving to NC. They took in both for screenings the day we got them, even though they were packed. The vets here are knowledgeable and friendly. This is top notch service. As a family that has worked in rescues and adopted from overseas and all over the country, I highly recommend Hope Mills.

I have been to a lot of different veterinarians over the years but I have to say that Hope Mills animal hospital is the absolute best. My indoor Cat had become very sick all of a sudden and I did not know what was wrong with him and immediately brought him to this veterinarian and Dr. Gray knew what was wrong with him within a short period of time. Dr. Gray and the staff there had given him some medicine and 2 prescriptions to go and in within a few days he was back to himself. One of the things I really liked about this veterinarian is that Dr. Gray took her time really going over my Cat and she was in no hurry at all and that is a sign of true caring and a real professional. The entire staff there was very professional and the place was very clean and sanitary as when I walked in it smelled very pleasant verses other veterinarians I have been to in the past that there was a horrible stench when I had walked in. I highly recommend Hope Mills animal hospital even if you have to drive out of your way or travel to get here as it is worth every single dollar. I was extremely satisfied and so was my Cat.

Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital was welcoming and patient with us in answering every question we had, when the specialists would not. Bonus is that they have very reasonable rates. I really liked the vet here, but the last few visits felt like a cash grab. The staff pushed a $70 allergy medication on us and it cost another $100 to find out it made our dog sick. It was suggested that we purchase a $40 test prior to a dental cleaning, but the results would not come in until 10 days past the cleaning.
This is a business, I get that, but my two dogs are family, and I need to know that their care comes before the profit margin.
I also want to mention something that really bothers me. On the last visit I noted the kittens for adoption. I really support this, but when asked about the cone, I was told that the kitten was neutered and declawed to ensure he was an indoor cat. This is a bad practice, especially in a semi-rural area like Fayetteville.

We have used Dr. Gray & Dr. Silvious for almost everything from annual vaccinations to dental work to major surgery and have had a great experience each time. I do not hesitate to contact them with any questions or concerns. Everyone takes the time to listen and respond in a caring and professional manner. The kennel staff is also wonderful and takes great care of my dogs whenever we have to go out of town. I have complete confidence in knowing my dogs will receive top-notch care, no matter the issue!

However, with that being said... be aware that they are HUGE on over-vaccinating. They "require" your cats and dogs to be vaccinated for everything under the sun, to include non-core vaccines that may not apply to your pet. I do not know if they do this for the money or because they simply do not care to take the time to understand your individual pet's lifestyle. I would not completely disregard this clinic for this reason, but I would take it into consideration. I will note that I have worked as a technician in two Veterinary clinics in two different states over the years. In addition, my dogs are older and have been vaccinated their entire lives in 4 different states. I have never heard of so many "required" vaccines in my life and I think it is a hoax. I will admit, however, this is the first veterinary clinic I have visited in the state of North Carolina. With that being said, it could be a common practice amongst vets in the state, but it is not a good policy. I only wish I would have known this going into it.

My previous experience was with Dr Gray which was excellent. I was given a different vet and I couldn't have been more disappointed with a very incompetent, vet who accomplished nothing but trying to charge me a lot of money. My pet did NOT receive anything like quality care that I had come to expect from Dr. Gray. Make sure you know what vet you are going to see if you risk taking your pet here.

Dr Gray provided excellent service a couple of years ago when my pet was seriously ill so when faced with another potentially serious problem I returned. I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINED by the new vet who rejoined the practice and saw my pet instead of Dr Gray. She was interested in charging a lot of money for little things like $10 to inject a medicine the pet probably didn't need-another $20. $10 to use a light to look at the pet. I expected to get a definite answer on a particular problem the pet's groomer saw but the vet was too busy trying to overcharge to even do a culture without my insistance. There was a lot more things she did to show her disinterest in the pet's welfare but I don't want to write a book. In the many years of seeing vets for many pets and this was the worst experience in my life. If you use this Animal Hospital, ask for Dr Gray. I'm going to another vet today for a second opinion because I can't trust this Dr. or her opinion.

Fantastic vet! We took our dog to a different vet for surgery yesterday and I get a call that my dog woke up and bit off some of her tail. Which they said was normal. We were told we could come get her but blood was everywhere so we couldn't bring her home. I went today and picked her up and they didn't even give her pain medicine for her stay so by the time I got to pick her up she was a wreck. They said the wrap had to just be changed when it started to smell. Something didn't seem right so I called Hope Mills animal clinic and they fit me in right away for them to make sure everything was done right. They have her pain medicine and showed me how upset they were over this. They then told me her tail wrap needs to be rewrapped every 2 days not to wait until it had a smell. Now my dog who has been through hell is now peacefully sleeping and isn't in pain. Thank you for being so great
