The "Drs" Brown are the greatest! They always show concern for our furry kids. Dr. Dale recently helped me with Riley, our 12 year old German Shepherd. One of the best veterinary clinics I have been to in Fayetteville. There was no way extremely courteous service and guess what the doctor the veterinarian actually was forthcoming we ask as many questions as we wanted and he answered them fully and so that we could understand just a very nice visit to a vet. These guys seem to really love what they do and they are there for the animals. That makes them pretty doggone good in my book. Take your animal there and see for yourself! Read Less

I have been with Riverbark Animal Hospital for approximately 10 years. They become like family and that is how they treat your furry friends and you as the owner/s. I lost my 10 year old collie "Bonnie" last September due to cancer. During those 10 years, Bonnie received excellent personal care by Dr. Brown Jr, and the entire staff. I know Dr. Dale did everything possible to save Bonnie and when she passed, it weighed on Dr. Dale and the rest of the staff that new Bonnie. (I had boarded her there several times when I traveled overseas) Bonnie had become well known at Riverbark. Personally, I cannot express enough how I feel about the excellent thorough care and attention they gave Bonnie so, I am back with my 2 month old newest furry friend. A few months ago we changed vets and met up with Riverbark. They have been by far the best vet clinic we have ever gone to. Not only does the staff know their stuff but also take the time to listen as well. Also Dr. Dale has been nothing but respectful to us and our pets. He spends the time with you to make sure you know all your options and genuinely listens to you. He treated our "Banky" as his own each time we visited. Though our outcome was tragic for our beloved "Banky" (due to cancer), Dr Dale was with us 100% of the way with our concerns, options and gave us the upmost confidence in our final decision. His concern for our dear "fur baby" was a true help in our time of sorrow and never once made us feel rushed or uncertain. This is now called Riverbark. Dr Dale is the best! I take my cats to him, he always treats them very well and is very friendly. I would highly recommend him! He did one of my cats tooth surgery, he had to have many teeth removed due to them being diseased, but my cat is able to eat just fine after having this done. I had been to a couple of other vets a long time ago, but I have been bringing my cats her now for at least 10 years and I would not take them anywhere else, unless it is an emergency! Read Less

I have been absolutely happy with this place and Dr. Dale! The wait is short, place is clean, staff is polite, and the doc didn’t waste my time. He conducted quick tests, with my approval , so that I didn’t have to come back. After two bladder surgeries with a different vet, Dr. Dale quickly provided a solution for my fur baby that wouldn’t amount in surgery and his stones are now cleared again! I only moved to Fayetteville temporarily from the Triangle in order to attend grad school, so I had not established a vet down here for my pets. My cat just recently became very ill, thus necessitating an urgent visit to a local vet hospital. I chose Riverbark because of previous very positive reviews. Its close proximity to my home was icing on the cake. I am very glad to have chosen this hospital. Dr. Dale Brown, Katie (technician), and all of the other staff with whom I interacted were outstanding. They fit my cat into their busy schedule the morning that I called, and took him in again the next day for further testing. I am happy to say that my cat has almost completely recovered from what was, potentially, a life-threatening condition. "Dr. Dale" is very friendly and compassionate, and did not make me feel rushed even though my cat and I were unexpected visitors. I highly recommend this practice, and would not hesitate to return for any further veterinary needs while I remain in this area. Dr. Dale and the entire staff at Riverbark on Ramsey are very caring and considerate, all the time. We've taken our pets here for normal checkups, immunizations, grooming, and for urgent needs and everything in between. When our Maltese was very sick for a few months, they calmly responded to every urgent call and visit. Dr. Dale and the staff patiently walked us through months of with stressful days and nights, and were so sympathetic through the entire process. If you're a "pet person" and have been for a long time, you likely know how one vet office can be amazing, while another can be horrible and make everything worse, especially during the most difficult circumstances. So, so, so, so, SO good! Our lab had been traumatized by a previous vet and couldn't even be seen for a routine check up without being sedated. The entire staff at Northgate (now called Riverbark on Ramsey St) have bent over backwards to help him get over it. He wouldn't dare go into any exam room and shook the whole time when we first started going there. Dr. Dale has been so patient and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable every time we've gone in. The staff have cared enough to interact with my dog each time a little more, building trust over time, trying new things and not just sedating him every time to make it easier on themselves. They always remember him and praise him for each new step towards relaxing that he takes. Our family is so grateful to them for treating him as more than just a quick appointment. We have been taking our pets to Dr. Dale at Northgate since we arrived in Fayetteville in October of 2011. Although the office could use an updated look, I love Dr. Dale! He is honest and compassionate when it comes to caring for our pets. We have unfortunately had two very ill cats over the last few years and he has been more than helpful. When our very sick cat, Peyton, was taken there almost immediately upon our arrival here and needed treatment, Dr. Dale allowed him to spend the night at no charge because I was unable to get to the office before the close of business. Since we got a puppy in the beginning of the year he saw her for a physical and first shots. Any follow-up vaccinations were done free of office visit fees. We have even boarded our very anxious and fearful pup there and she was in very good spirits. I couldn't ask for a better, more down to earth veterinarian. As long as we are in the Fayetteville area I will continue to take my pets to Dr. Dale for all of their medical needs and I will continue to recommend him to everyone I come across that needs a veterinarian. He makes the drive from Fort Bragg to Ramsey Street a worth while trip!Read Less
