DR. Miller & Kathy.if you remember the little kitty. I adopted there in 1999, I'd like you to know she had a beautiful life until yesterday. May 8 she would have been 19 years old.she had the sweetest personality. She became attached to Bob and followed him from room to room and slept on his shoulder at night. we have known for a couple of weeks her time with us was nearing. I just wanted you to know because you gave her a chance to live when she was brought in bleeding from her mouth from being dropped on a cement floor. the owner said he couldnt pay and he was leaving to go to NY. he said to put her to sleep. Kathy you came out front crying and you told the jerk you would pay for her oxygen because you wanted to give her a chance to live. Ànd live she did. We lost Patrick when he was 14. I called to make a first appointment for my new puppy and transfer my other puppy for her 3rd round of boosters. An older woman answered the phone and was very rude to me. I explained that I had just rescued a puppy from the humane society and they required me to get a check up within a week. She told me there was nothing she can do to get me in until the 21st and when I agreed to take that day she was even more rude about the times offered. I had also asked to schedule the booster apt for my other puppy and she said no. She said she will not schedule it because she doesn't want us to not show up since it's so far out. She was hateful and just not willing to work with me so I told her to cancel the apt we made and I will find somewhere else. I need my puppies seen, but not worth the fight with the staff before I even walk through the door. Read Less

Been taking my dogs to Dr Miller for over 24 years. He is a wonderful vet, compassionate, patient, caring. I specially appreciate the fact that he does not crowd his lobby with patients so there is no drama of dogs barking at each other. In fact, when we get there for our appointments we're always the next patient & the only ones waiting in the lobby. On one occasion he went out of his way to provide care for our dog (when we had to go out of town) after performing urgent surgery on her. Whereas the ladies at the front desk may come across as curt & inpatient, or non-caring, they do end up helping and by no means reflect the quality and level of personal care that Dr Miller and his wife provide. There are not enough stars to click on to accurately rate Rim Road Animal Hospital.  I moved to Fayetteville about 2 years ago with my senior rescue dog.  I was hoping to find a good vet that might equal the one I had in NY.  By chance I found Rim Road.  From the very first time I visited I was made to feel like family.  My little guy started getting sick early this year. (2017) I've made many trips with him to the office. Called many times.  Stopped in for medicine, advice, and support. I know in my heart that the staff here loved and cared for my dog as if he was their own.  Just this week I had to say goodbye to my puppy.  He was over 16 years old. He'd had a good, long life and was loved dearly.  Even though it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do the doctor and the staff were so helpful, supportive and caring that it made things bearable for me.  Words cannot begin to express how grateful I am.  I would recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone and everyone.  Believe me, you will never find one that is better. Or with more loving, compassionate and skilled people.  I am truly thankful for all they have done. Read Less

Love them! Doctor and staff have always been wonderful to my entire family. Very compassionate and knowledgeable. Have gone there with many many different kinds of animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, chickens) over the last 15 years. We moved to the other side of town but still drive to Rim Rd. I never even got one of my pets into the office before encountering an extremely rude woman on the phone. I am looking for a new vet for my 3 cats and 1 dog and simply called to inquire about prices to be seen and was referred somewhere else since I was so concerned with price. Her words, not mine. Obviously they are doing well since assumptions were made and I was basically turned away. That's 4 patients Rim Road Animal Hospital will never have. Read Less

We have been going to Rim Road Vet for 20+ years and just love them. They love and have loved all of our dogs. We had 5 at one point and we still talk about the 3 that have been put down for more that 7 years now. Read Less

While I do really like the Doctor himself, the staff is just not worth it. Every time my wife or I go in, we feel like we're being condescended to or chastised by a particular vet tech. She's rude and judgmental, and despite our dogs getting along well with the Doctor it's just not worth it. The last straw was my dogs were both showing very bad signs of an allergic reaction from a bite, and my wife tried to take them in for an emergency visit. The vet tech wouldn't even let her in the door, and gave no information what she should do. Didn't take a note, didn't schedule a time, didn't offer to have the Doctor call, just refused to even let her in the building. That's too far for us. Read Less

My dog loves them and they really care for him while he has to get his shots or anything there. Always willing to give me the best advice on his health and to tell me best options for treatment or daily advice. I moved across town and still am happy to make the trip to visit them instead of changing vets. Read Less

Sometimes the front desk staff are a little slow, (and seem confused when it comes to computer stuff lol) But the vet and his assistant here are great. They remember me and my dog, even if its been months since I've seen them. They are nice, and really good with her (shes scared of the vet). I also like that they don't mind writing me hand prescriptions if there are cheaper options to buy medication. I've been to several vets that seem like they are in it for the money, but Rim Rd. Animal Hospital has left an impression on me that they are really in it to help the animals.Read Less

I have never been to a vet clinic that was this personable! This was my first time here and it felt like I've been here for years! There was no long waiting period to see the vet and once I met him, he was also personable. I truly felt that he devoted his time to listening about my concerns and the best treatment for my Gizmo. I wasn't rushed and for once I had the vet's undivided attention. I wasn't being seen in between other clients. This was my best vet experience!  This is truly a gem of a clinic! When I checked out they gave me a bag and even their bag showed a sense of pride and a way to differentiate themselves from the other clinics. This is the third clinic I've been at within the six months I've been here and I'm never going to another one. I've found a vet clinic that I'm sticking with and I have five lets! Read Less
