My dogs escape their pin, 2 sisters wondered up to Piney Grove Wilbon Rd. One was killed and the other was hit but rescued by a Soilder. He took her to a Pastor at Piney Grove church and the Pastor delivered her to this hospital. This hospital examend her, fed her, and gave her medication for pain free of charge. I have never witnessed this much compassion from a veterinarian in my 43 years on this planet.

I had called ahead and booked an appointment after verifying that they could provide the service. After being ‘lectured’ and told I would have to pay more than expected, I elected to leave. I am very disappointed as our family has been a good customer of this practice including surgeries and other visits. Customer service is important, and non-existent in this case.!

Best Veterinary Hospital!!! My cats have been patients here for 8 years and I could not be happier. One of my cats, Tigger, was a kitten I was lucky enough to adopt. He was known as the clown cat. My other cat, Winnie, is a vey scared and unfriendly kitty. They take care of her as if she was a queen. All of the Veterinarians, Veterinarian Assistants and Office Staff are caring, loving and extremely knowledgeable. When I moved to Fuquay I had a 16 year old cat named Blue. Blue had cancer under his tongue and it was time to let him cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The staff was so supportive and loving during this time and helped us through this time. I can't say enough good things about Fuquay Veterinary Hospital. Tigger needed a home and I needed a kitten.

I used to like this place more. I do like Dr. Cotton. The last two or three times I've brought my cats in, both the waiting room and the exam room had bodily fluids on them (blood spots, and unknown fluids). I said something to the tech about it, and she did clean it somewhat but also seemed unconcerned. It's also been trickier to get appointments, probably due to the ridiculous population explosion. I recently took my brother's cat to a vet in Benson that was very clean, and the vet was very caring too. If it wasn't so far from my place, I'd take my cats there instead.

A slight emergency occurred this afternoon with my little kitty Buttons. I rushed her to see Dr. Liz....she's fine...I panicked when she accidentally scratched off the scab that had formed from the infected right side of her face. She's eaten, drank water, used the bathroom and is resting comfortably now. One star on cost: 44.50 for new customers to have a really quick check up exam. Most places give it free. All I needed was heart worm medication. In total for heart worm test and the quick check up was 75.00. Five star: on service (friendly and on time) Two star: price comparison with other shops or pet stores and it will be drastically less than here. 6 pack for flea medication was 130.00 here and the same one was 80.00 at petsmart. Too costly for my blood. Wish the first checkup was free like most places but that's more my fault for lot asking when making the appointment.

The folks at Fuquay Vet Hospital could not be nicer. They have taken care of my 2 dorkies Sadie and Sara since their adoption in 2008. We also board the dogs for short periods with them when needed and our dogs seem to love it there.Their practice is friendly, professional and most of all compassionate.They also assisted when our 2 previous pooches passed on and every one there was so kind. Dr. Cotton is simply the best and I would highly recommend anyone to bring their pet to Fuquay Vets.

We just moved to the area and our dog has his usual ear infection. We called to see if we could get in and were told that they weren't accepting any new patients until January?! It's December 12th and in this economy they aren't taking new patients? We had read all the reviews here and were actually looking forward to establishing a new relationship with what appeared to be a great vet. We're highly disappointed.

Horrible! I will never again take another pet to this location. My dog was suffering from grand mal, cluster seizures (averaging 6-8 seizures a day). I took him in and the doctor was indifferent to the health of my dog. She did not care that he was having cluster seizures and the harm it was causing him. She tallied it up to epilepsy and gave me a prescription for Phenobarbital and even as I expressed my concerns of his seizures occurring during sleep, she simply did not care. With a smile on her face she told me "dogs have seizures during high activity or excitement". I told her he ONLY had them while he was sleeping and I was concerned about the medication because it makes the animals drowsy and fall asleep. She simply could not have cared less and just sent me on my way. And let me tell you, after I started him on the medication, his seizures became worse and occurred more often. A few days later, we had to put our dog down. The seizures had completely taken over his life and he was averaging 1-2 seizures per hour. I can't express how angry I am with this vet clinic and I urge you to find another vet hospital if you care about the welfare of your pet!!!! I would however, highly recommend VCA Animal Hospital in Apex. It's a little further of a drive but they actually cared about my dog and his situation when it was already too late and informed me on what FVH SHOULD have done for my dog. I regret ever going to Fuquay Veterinary Hospital.

I can't say enough good things about this place! We have taken our dogs here since we moved to Fuquay. Dr. Cotton grew up in the area, went to NCSU, and came back to practice here. The office is a little old, however, as the saying goes, " it's what's inside that counts.". What's inside is a group of vets that love their job and the animals and a support staff that is equally great. We have also used them to board our dogs and know they get special attention. The last time we boarded our two dogs, they took our dogs out into the office to play before they opened. Dr. Cotton and her staff are awesome and will take good care of you and your animals. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!!!

I have been here twice. Once to have tests run on my cat and the next time to put my cat down. This is the best vet I have ever worked with. Very compassionate and willing to make allowances for extenuating circumstances. My cat stroked Saturday morning and the vet closes at noon on Saturdays. They kept their office open an extra fifteen minutes for me to bring my cat in and let me stay in the room as long as I needed after I put her down. They were very attentive and I even received a sympathy card in the mail from the vet. If your pet is considered part of your family and you want the best care, I definitely recommend this vet!

Blue had cancer under his tongue and it was time to let him cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The staff was so supportive and loving during this time and helped us through this time. I can't say enough good things about Fuquay Veterinary Hospital. Tigger needed a home and I needed a kitten.

I used to like this place more. I do like Dr. Cotton. The last two or three times I've brought my cats in, both the waiting room and the exam room had bodily fluids on them (blood spots, and unknown fluids). I said something to the tech about it, and she did clean it somewhat but also seemed unconcerned. It's also been trickier to get appointments, probably due to the ridiculous population explosion. I recently took my brother's cat to a vet in Benson that was very clean, and the vet was very caring too. If it wasn't so far from my place, I'd take my cats there instead.

A slight emergency occurred this afternoon with my little kitty Buttons. I rushed her to see Dr. Liz....she's fine...I panicked when she accidentally scratched off the scab that had formed from the infected right side of her face. She's eaten, drank water, used the bathroom and is resting comfortably now. I can't thank Chris Minshew enough for sharing Dr. Liz, Brad, Jason, and the entire Staff at FV Vet Hosp...May you all have a wonderful and enjoyable Thanksgiving. One star on cost: 44.50 for new customers to have a really quick check up exam. Most places give it free. All I needed was heart worm medication. In total for heart worm test and the quick check up was 75.00. Five star: on service (friendly and on time) Two star: price comparison with other shops or pet stores and it will be drastically less than here. 6 pack for flea medication was 130.00 here and the same one was 80.00 at petsmart. Too costly for my blood. Wish the first checkup was free like most places but that's more my fault for lot asking when making the appointment.

The folks at Fuquay Vet Hospital could not be nicer. They have taken care of my 2 dorkies Sadie and Sara since their adoption in 2008. We also board the dogs for short periods with them when needed and our dogs seem to love it there.Their practice is friendly, professional and most of all compassionate.They also assisted when our 2 previous pooches passed on and every one there was so kind. Dr. Cotton is simply the best and I would highly recommend anyone to bring their pet to Fuquay Vets.

We just moved to the area and our dog has his usual ear infection. We called to see if we could get in and were told that they weren't accepting any new patients until January?! It's December 12th and in this economy they aren't taking new patients? We had read all the reviews here and were actually looking forward to establishing a new relationship with what appeared to be a great vet. We're highly disappointed.

Horrible! I will never again take another pet to this location. My dog was suffering from grand mal, cluster seizures (averaging 6-8 seizures a day). I took him in and the doctor was indifferent to the health of my dog. She did not care that he was having cluster seizures and the harm it was causing him. She tallied it up to epilepsy and gave me a prescription for Phenobarbital and even as I expressed my concerns of his seizures occurring during sleep, she simply did not care. With a smile on her face she told me "dogs have seizures during high activity or excitement". I told her he ONLY had them while he was sleeping and I was concerned about the medication because it makes the animals drowsy and fall asleep. She simply could not have cared less and just sent me on my way. And let me tell you, after I started him on the medication, his seizures became worse and occurred more often. A few days later, we had to put our dog down. The seizures had completely taken over his life and he was averaging 1-2 seizures per hour. I can't express how angry I am with this vet clinic and I urge you to find another vet hospital if you care about the welfare of your pet!!!! I would however, highly recommend VCA Animal Hospital in Apex. It's a little further of a drive but they actually cared about my dog and his situation when it was already too late and informed me on what FVH SHOULD have done for my dog. I regret ever going to Fuquay Veterinary Hospital.

I can't say enough good things about this place! We have taken our dogs here since we moved to Fuquay. Dr. Cotton grew up in the area, went to NCSU, and came back to practice here. The office is a little old, however, as the saying goes, " it's what's inside that counts.". What's inside is a group of vets that love their job and the animals and a support staff that is equally great. We have also used them to board our dogs and know they get special attention. The last time we boarded our two dogs, they took our dogs out into the office to play before they opened. Dr. Cotton and her staff are awesome and will take good care of you and your animals. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!!!

I have been here twice. Once to have tests run on my cat and the next time to put my cat down. This is the best vet I have ever worked with. Very compassionate and willing to make allowances for extenuating circumstances. My cat stroked Saturday morning and the vet closes at noon on Saturdays. They kept their office open an extra fifteen minutes for me to bring my cat in and let me stay in the room as long as I needed after I put her down. They were very attentive and I even received a sympathy card in the mail from the vet. If your pet is considered part of your family and you want the best care, I definitely recommend this vet!
