Animal Medical Centre Of Greensboro

Greensboro, North Carolina
General Info
Families in Greensboro look to Animal Medical Centre of Greensboro for guidance on veterinary plans pegged on the life stages, climate patterns, and routine markers connected to pets’ age evolution throughout North Carolina. The first stage of appointments focuses on updating lifestyle and behavior information (appetite, sleep, social patterns, gait and activity, emotional response). Examinations include verbal tests, body mass measurements, and articulation checks while monitoring warmth response and heart action. The veterinarian monitoring of spaying and neutering, puberty onset, and adult weight stabilization occurs simultaneously with senior onset detection while addressing breed-specific or weather-related health issues. The Animal Medical Centre of Greensboro offers services such as diagnostics, core and elective vaccinations, dental care, pain assessments and mobility coaching, nutritional counseling, and parasite control. The service frequency and depth vary based on age-related mobility and local climate conditions such as spring allergy responses, summer heat precautions, and winter inflammation reviews. Planning might also outline timelines for adolescent growth, adult wellness, or geriatric intervention. Owners receive care logs and follow-up goals, which are behavior-based. Families might want to use weight thresholds for planning rechecks during the cold months and utilize stress-monitoring apps for elderly animals. Complex scheduling options and remote follow-up services to busy homes with senior pets or multiple pet households with staggered timelines. The Animal Medical Centre of Greensboro provides pet owners throughout Greensboro and North Carolina with reliable, personalized wellness plans that fit their pets’ age, activity level, and seasonal needs. Some of the services offered at Animal Medical Centre Of Greensboro are: Dental Care, Prescription Medications, and Surgery. It’s a nice, clean facility with friendly staff members. The veterinarian is friendly and thorough. However, the prices are unnecessarily expensive, and the wait times are too long. On two occasions, the veterinarian was out during my scheduled times. In fact, one of those times he never saw my pet. The tech did the exam. On the other occasion, I saw the vet walking in the back with a bag of fast food. Both times I had to wait more than 40 minutes for scheduled appointments. Read Less

Dont take your pet here.  Boarded my dog who is also a regular patient here. She went in happy, active and with no problems.  Picked her up today and she was scared, noticeably less active and her eye was red and swollen.  Her eye that is noticeably irritated and horrible looking as if she had been in a fight and got a black eye.  What's fucked up is nobody even called me or said one word about her eye after she had been boarded for 5 days.  When they brought her out, Im the one who said, "what's wrong with her eye? What happened?" Nobody was going to say shit otherwise.  I was pissed.  Then, they take her back to a room to wait to see the doctor.  He says the tech girl claims it wasnt like that this morning and it just got that way.  No, trust me.  Her eye looks like it has been irritated for DAYS with no treatment!!!  I HAVE NOT ONE MISSED CALL NOR VOICEMAIL MESSAGE FROM THIS PLACE STATING ANYTHING ABOUT MY DOG!!!!  Not to mention she was at a FUCKING ANIMAL CLINIC FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!  She didnt receive ANY treatment for her obviously irritated eye!  I'm PISSED BEYOND PISSTIVITY!!!! Then they had the audacity to want ro charge me for the medicine!!! After I paid to have her boarded 5 days And NOBODY cared that her eye looked like she's been punched by Floyd Mayweather!!!!!!??  So I questionned them again, asking about whether they normally choose not to treat a dog who is sick that's under their care?  Then they wanted to say "oh, she had a little stye when she came in." No she didn't!!! Who do you all think you're talking to?  Oh, but then they refunded the charge for the medicine and doctor seeing her as if it was some sort of constellation prize.  That's the very least they could have done.  What they should have done eas refunded my entire boarding bill.  Since they didnt give one FUCK about my dog for the entire 5 days she stayed with them.  Go to this place, your dog will come out scared, in active and with a FUCKED UP EYE!!!  You've been warned!!!! Oh, the female assistant with the dark brown hair and grocery bags under her eyes who looks like she is on drugs!! She is mean to the dogs and tries to over compensate in your face like she is a lover of all dogs and like she is your dog's best friend.  BITCH PLEASE!  No pun intended! FOH Read Less

I took my new Pomeranian pup for its first check up. I have a 10yr old small Yorkie that is in dire need of a dental work. So I figured I'd do a dental consult as well.  Walked in very clean, organize. Which I appreciate. Being military family we've been to many many different vets across the country. New one every couple of years. So I've seen it all from high end to really bad like I walked in and walked out.. Unfortunately I've had more bad than good places. And what makes it even more unfortunate is I went to Yelp. Sometimes higher stars doesn't mean better.,, I found this to be a big issue in the bigger cities. Haven't found that in the midsize cities. The reviews there seem really legit. Anyways, Dr. Chappell was very patient and informative took his time. And took my worries about cost in consideration when quoting me on all that needed to be done. Going to book an appointment for my Yorkie's dental work. I will update based on my experience from that procedure. Read Less

Great Vet and staff.   Ranada the office manager is professional and very informative.  Brenda the Vet Assistant is excellent with handling  and caring for my pets.   I can always call with any concerns or questions and always get a return call from Doc. Chappell and recommendation on whether to bring my pet in or a solution to my problem at home.  He knows  as retirees we are on a fixed income and always is very honest about what needs to be done and what can wait.  He always gives my pets a thorough exam with care and kindness and explains all results to us in detail.  At Christmas we were away and my daughter had to take our older pup to the Emergency Vets on a Sat evening and I was able to call Dr Chappell and he called the Em. Vet and discussed her history , treatment and problems and called me back and helped me through a very difficult decision.   My pup was very sick and very old and I had to let her go.    He and his staff sent us a sympathy card and also called to see how we were doing.   The care and concern that Dr Chappell and staff give is above and beyond and you know your pets are in good hands and well cared for.  Dr Chappell is a caring and excellent vet . I have never been so irritated with the vet office. When you first walk in the  door you are greeted by nice receptionist. These receptionist are also the same ones who will continuously nag you to come back and make an appointment, yet they can't call you back about any lab results. My first experience there was not too great. I made an appointment, came in early to fill out paperwork and still waited 45 minutes for the doctor. During that time I had to take my dog out to use the bathroom in their designated area which is a sketchy patch of grass out back. When the vet finally comes, he's old, rude, and doesn't seem to know what he's talking about. When I asked him general questions about my dog such as how big do you think she will be or is it unhealthy that she drinks so much water in a day he has no response. But he will keep insisting that your dog needs to get certain things tested etc etc so that you pay more money. From the moment I walked in that door it was quite apparent that making money was the only thing the doctor cared about.  My second visit my sister took my dog to the vet and she had a similar awful experience. When we asked for our dog records because I was moving the rude old doctor was so mean and cold that it was physically uncomfortable for my sister. Please spare yourself and try a different vet office. Read Less
