A bunch of mixed up people playing a role. Veterinarians don't have their own practice. Yeah you get this and that for free on a wellness plan. But 50% of the vaccinations aren't needed but included in the plan so why not give it to your pet? BECAUSE they don't need it. If you want to get your pet weight at any time mainly low cost clinics will do that free of charge. I presume not to spend $30 and more per month than to go to a veterinarian twice a year as needed. I tried banfield and the tiny waiting room was absurd as well. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Read Less

Nice staff... however our 8 year old dog had been on the monthly plan with routine visits for YEARS. Somehow they never caught that our dogs teeth did not develop correctly (at least half of his teeth had not come in) and we spent $5,000 suddenly because so many of his teeth were impacted and that turned into painful cyst that was rubbing his jaw bone away! What a sudden surprise! He also had 12 tumors! TWELVE! How in the world did they never catch those two very big conditions! We are now going to Dr. Amos at Battleground Veterinary Clinic and he is the best! He catches everything and isn't just trying to make a buck on routine visits, he truly takes his time with our dog and addresses any concerns. Read Less

All of my animals were Banfield patients for many years until I could no longer afford their monthly Wellness Plan payments. Still, I greatly appreciate the care and flexibility of the staff, I just wish the Wellness Plans either included more coverage for acute incidents or were lower in price with more flexible payment options. If I had the money, I would make this Banfield location my primary provider again. They helped me out just recently with a very sick dog when I couldn’t afford an office visit and I am so thankful for all of the years of care that they provided. Read Less

I was very happy with my experience today. I was a little apprehensive about taking my cat to a clinic located in a huge box store, because I thought they might try to ply me to buy extra items to increase the profits of the store. And I also thought that, being inside a huge chain, they would have subpar vets and it would be a rushed, impersonal experience. But I was wrong on both counts. I was very happy with the attention the staff gave both my cat and me. They even helped me carry him to the car since my hands were full with medicine/food!! Very talkative and kind people who clearly love animals a lot. And being able to just walk out and buy what I needed without making another trip was so convenient. Read Less

Brought my new adopted kitty in over the weekend for a checkup, even though the one on Bridford is closer to me, this one actually had openings.  I dropped her off at 7:30, and I had a phone call by 10:30 letting me know she had an upper respiratory infection (easily treated and pretty common for shelter cars).  They gave her some antibiotics and some hairball gel.  I got both medications and her examination for just 85 dollars.  The vet techs were super nice, and they really seemed to love my kitty!  They assured me my baby was going to be okay, and told me that I could call them if I had any questions.  They explained everything about the medicines and the diagnosis at the vet.  I actually ended up liking this location more than the Bridford one, and to me, they're worth the few minutes extra drive Read Less

Ancillary staff (front desk, vet techs) are EXCELLENT here. Couldn't ask for kinder, more devoted people. Beware of the vets! I brought my animals here for 3 years and we got great care, but would never step foot in there again after my last few visits. My kitty was declawed and they BUTCHERED his paws and GLUED them closed so poorly I had to take him to another vet to get the glue soaked off. The other vet informed me his paws would never heal with the way they were closed. I went back to discuss with the vet and she informed me my cat was too old and big to have been declawed in the first place (I was never informed of this pre-procedure) and never took responsibility.Read Less
