Brassfield Animal Hospital is a medical and surgical facility treating dogs, cats and Exotics. We provide vaccinations, x-rays, dentistry, ultrasound, endoscopy, laser therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic care. We also have a large boarding facility and provide day care. Bathing is also offered.
Our goal is to treat our clients as we would treat our families and to treat our patients as though they were our own. Our clients and patients are the heart of our practice and the reason we are here. At all times our clients and patients will be treated with respect, dignity and compassion. Being of service to our clients and patients is the definition of our purpose and the mission of our practice.
We pledge and guarantee that we will always do our very best to serve you and to provide your pet with the care that they deserve!
Weekend drop-off/pick-up for pet boarding is available from 4-4:30pm on Saturday and Sundays.
Care Credit is available at our practice!

Yes they offer products like food that they make $ on. But it's not hard sold. Vets are down to earth and knowledgeable. Easy to get in and out. Highly recommend!

This was our very first time visiting this facility and indeed it was an awesome experience with Dr. Hodges and his staff. We received excellent care for our puppy Oreo who is 11 weeks old. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and shared alot of good information with us that addressed of all our concerns, Dr. Hodges even called to follow-up a couple of days later. I have tried many veterinarians but this one is the best. I have an issue with my dog and they have gone far and above with helping me. The staff is always courteous and nice to me and my family. I can tell they love animals. My dog is not the most cooperative when it comes to clipping his nails, but kudos to Cindi, and the staff, they will get it done. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

For about 20 years, we have taken our family pets here for care. The staff are all very friendly, competent and helpful. The vets here are very knowledgeable, compassionate and provide good, solid advice. Our animals have received great care here, and we've boarded them many times over the years. It says something when your dogs' tails wag when they come here! Dr. Hodges is the vet we see most often, and we have known him since day one. We thoroughly recommend this practice!

Brassfield animal hospital was so incredible to me and my cat, LouLou! They fit me in the same day I called because of her alarming symptoms. Dr. Melissa Magnotta was exceptional with Lou's care. She even came in "after hours" to follow up with Lou. It meant more to me than I can even type. She's an incredible vet and I'll never hesitate to bring Lou to her.

My experience with Brassfield Animal Hospital has been so rewarding. My husband and I decided to start our marriage with an adopted puppy. With Brassfield Animal Hospital being a block away, in addition to the rave reviews, it was a no brainer to start off with vaccinations and have the opportunity to ask questions from a newbie standpoint. The facility is very warm and inviting. They have a furry co-receptionist with the cutest under bite. I was given a tour of the building on my first trip and they have so many services to offer. I am so glad we have found a reliable vet for our dog.

We have been taking our fur children to Brassfield Animal Hospital for about 17 years. The doctors, Hunter Hodges, Ralph Yerex have always been caring and compassionate. There is not enough space to write a review about the things they have done to care for our dogs and cats during the years. They have brought us through some very trying moments. Again last week they were there for us during another pet crisis. The staff is very kind and professional. Brassfield Animal Hospital is a step above the rest. Have been taking my two dogs there for 3 years now. They take very good care of your animals and their customers. They follow up on what they say they're going to do. They have answered all my questions and recommend suggestions. They will send a little reminder in the mail for any shots or vaccinations that are coming up. Also had puppy spaded there and she came home happy and as if nothing happened and healed quick. They also offer the new chewable flea and tick medicine (nexguard) which works great. Highly recomended. This is coming from a person who doesn't just hand out 5 star ratings. This business has earned it.

Dr. Yerex and the staff at Brassfield Animal Hospital are great! We visited for the first time today, as my cat had been recently diagnosed with gastroenteritis at Happy Tails ER vet (also highly recommended!). They were able to book a same day appointment for my kitty's exam, and were sensitive to our financial concerns about X-rays and blood work. Dr. Yerex also helped show us how to give our girl her medicine with an eye dropper, which was a lot more helpful than the Youtube tutorials we watched the night before!

We've used Brassfield Animal Hospital for three years here in Greensboro, and they are simply wonderful. Our cat has visited with both Dr. Hodges and Dr. Yerex for different concerns. The office has fit us in early and immediately every single time.
The doctors always spend plenty of time asking questions and answering mine. You can tell everyone who works there really cares about not just all animals but yours in particular!
Most recently, our cat starting having seizures. Dr. Yerex is helping us understand these very scary episodes. We came into the office incredibly scared and stressed; we walked out reassured and informed about how to move forward. He's also called to check on the kitty all week. It means a lot- we love and trust Brassfield!

The staff is always friendly and responsive and the doctors are as good as it gets. We bonded with Dr. Ralph Yerex from the moment we met him. You want Dr. Yerex to be your vet and you'll wish he was your doctor too. He truly loves your animals as if they were his own. He's an excellent veterinarian, very skilled and knowledgeable and wants what's best for your pet and your family. You will not find a better team than Brassfield Animal Hospital.

The staff at Brassfield is wonderful. Always going above and beyond the call of duty. The doctors spend time answering questions and you never feel rushed. They call you personally with lab results and work with you to craete the game plan that is best for your animal. The office staff treats your animals as if they are there own. I would definately recommend Brassfield Animal Hospital to all of my friends and family!

For about 20 years, we have taken our family pets here for care. The staff are all very friendly, competent and helpful. The vets here are very knowledgeable, compassionate and provide good, solid advice. Our animals have received great care here, and we've boarded them many times over the years. It says something when your dogs' tails wag when they come here! Dr. Hodges is the vet we see most often, and we have known him since day one. We thoroughly recommend this practice!

Brassfield animal hospital was so incredible to me and my cat, LouLou! They fit me in the same day I called because of her alarming symptoms. Dr. Melissa Magnotta was exceptional with Lou's care. She even came in "after hours" to follow up with Lou. It meant more to me than I can even type. She's an incredible vet and I'll never hesitate to bring Lou to her.

My experience with Brassfield Animal Hospital has been so rewarding. My husband and I decided to start our marriage with an adopted puppy. With Brassfield Animal Hospital being a block away, in addition to the rave reviews, it was a no brainer to start off with vaccinations and have the opportunity to ask questions from a newbie standpoint. The facility is very warm and inviting. They have a furry co-receptionist with the cutest under bite. I was given a tour of the building on my first trip and they have so many services to offer. I am so glad we have found a reliable vet for our dog.

We have been taking our fur children to Brassfield Animal Hospital for about 17 years. The doctors, Hunter Hodges, Ralph Yerex have always been caring and compassionate. There is not enough space to write a review about the things they have done to care for our dogs and cats during the years. They have brought us through some very trying moments. Again last week they were there for us during another pet crisis. The staff is very kind and professional. Brassfield Animal Hospital is a step above the rest. As a professional groomer, dog trainer and kennel owner, I have very high expectations when I enter a business in my field..in my 43 years in the profession, I have been to many vets offices across the US.....I love the entire staff at Brassfield... Their service and care are consistent..I love their exam rooms....very comfortable even for my older dog who had started as a neglected pup and when Dr.Hodges was working on Jake's treatment for his ACL, Jake became more and more comfortable with everyone.... Both Dr.Hodges and Dr.Yerex are up to date on the latest treatments and educate clients as to what is available for a particular illness or condition...... Have been taking my two dogs there for 3 years now. They take very good care of your animals and their customers. They follow up on what they say they're going to do. They have answered all my questions and recommend suggestions. They will send a little reminder in the mail for any shots or vaccinations that are coming up. Also had puppy spaded there and she came home happy and as if nothing happened and healed quick. They also offer the new chewable flea and tick medicine (nexguard) which works great. Highly recomended. This is coming from a person who doesn't just hand out 5 star ratings. This business has earned it.

Dr. Yerex and the staff at Brassfield Animal Hospital are great! We visited for the first time today, as my cat had been recently diagnosed with gastroenteritis at Happy Tails ER vet (also highly recommended!). They were able to book a same day appointment for my kitty's exam, and were sensitive to our financial concerns about X-rays and blood work. Dr. Yerex also helped show us how to give our girl her medicine with an eye dropper, which was a lot more helpful than the Youtube tutorials we watched the night before!

We've used Brassfield Animal Hospital for three years here in Greensboro, and they are simply wonderful. Our cat has visited with both Dr. Hodges and Dr. Yerex for different concerns. The office has fit us in early and immediately every single time.
The doctors always spend plenty of time asking questions and answering mine. You can tell everyone who works there really cares about not just all animals but yours in particular!
Most recently, our cat starting having seizures. Dr. Yerex is helping us understand these very scary episodes. We came into the office incredibly scared and stressed; we walked out reassured and informed about how to move forward. He's also called to check on the kitty all week. It means a lot- we love and trust Brassfield!

The staff is always friendly and responsive and the doctors are as good as it gets. We bonded with Dr. Ralph Yerex from the moment we met him. You want Dr. Yerex to be your vet and you'll wish he was your doctor too. He truly loves your animals as if they were his own. He's an excellent veterinarian, very skilled and knowledgeable and wants what's best for your pet and your family. You will not find a better team than Brassfield Animal Hospital.

We have used Brassfield Animal Hospital for 13 years now. We could not be more pleased. The staff is always friendly, responsive, and helpful. Dr. Ralph Yerex is an amazing doctor. Easily the warmest and most caring doctor we've ever had. He will care for your animals as if they were his own. Dr. Yerex is also extremely knowledgable and skilled. We never have to worry about our boys when they're under his care. I give Brassfield Animal Hospital my highest recommendation!

The staff at Brassfield is wonderful. Always going above and beyond the call of duty. The doctors spend time answering questions and you never feel rushed. They call you personally with lab results and work with you to craete the game plan that is best for your animal. The office staff treats your animals as if they are there own. I would definately recommend Brassfield Animal Hospital to all of my friends and family!
