Four stars simply because I believe that the Dr. Clark did the best she could with details, specifics, and directions. Not a five start because of their process of notifying the owner of a dog bite an hour an half after the bite. Prior to my 12 year old daughter dog going there, I explained to them that he is aggressive when it comes to strangers and grooming. With that said, I was assured that they will be able to sedate and groom him. Fast Forward, my dog bit one of the ladies during his departure but again i wasn't notified until hours later. The lady went to be seen at an urgent care, I received a phone call stating that my dog bit her and will have to be quarantine for 10 days (another PTSD situation possibly for him). Talk about upset, well I 'm leaving this review to just say if your dog is an aggressive dog (which I believe is such a strong word) / just need to be handled with that in mine even after/before sedation/meds and still bites, just be aware of this process. I'm now stuck with letting my daughter know that we may not can't keep the dog due to the affordability of him staying somewhere for ten days. SO Again , BEWARE if you have an "aggressive dog". Not an angry customer at all, I appreciate their services, just didn't appreciate the delay of the notification and the fact that my dog is up to date on his rabbies shot, was at the dog hospital he has to still go through another dramatic and costly process within a day from now if not my daughter loses her dog, try explaining that to a 12 year old. So again, just be mindful of that. Read Less

We've been taking our dogs to Dr. Whitley for 26 years. We moved to Greensboro in 1991 and began taking our first dog Twoson. When he passed away in 1998 at 16 years old we got a rescue dog. Dr. Whitley took care of Izzy until we lost her in 2014. We had to put her to sleep because she went into chronic kidney failure. I could not believe the lengths he went to trying to save Izzy but she was about 17 years old . During that terrible time the staff was so kind and caring to me. Now we have another rescue Maggie and I would not take her anywhere else but to Cobb. I have seen other veterinarians there in emergencies and they are wonderful too. I've been taking my two babies, Lucy and Miller, to see Dr. Whitley at Cobb Animal Clinic for the past 3 1/2 years at the recommendation of a co-worker when I first moved to Greensboro. Dr. Whitely is FANTASTIC. He's very caring and thorough, is so kind to the animals and the way he interacts with them, explains everything clearly, is patient when I have questions, follows up with phone calls to check on them, understands the depths of my emotions for my babies, and is flexible with me and my long work hours. I feel his concern for Lucy and Miller's health is genuine and he's also genuinely concerned about my concerns and works to reassure me. When I had an early morning emergency he told me to bring Miller right over and saw him before his first appointment, kept him with him all day and gave him personalized care. The practice has all of the modern equipment needed for care including dental needs and surgery, and I wouldn't think of taking Lucy and Miller anywhere else. The office staff and vet techs are friendly and terrific as well, and their boarding/playtime program and staff are wonderful. Don't hesitate to take your babies here - they'll be tremendously well cared for.Read Less

The seasonal care program at Cobb Animal Clinic helps Greensboro pets cope with allergies, heat waves, cold weather stiffness, and other issues associated with changing seasons. During every visit, veterinarians engage owners in discussions regarding recent variations in energy and eating patterns as well as behavior changes related to temperature, allergens, or activity. During physical examinations, veterinarians assess factors such as skin dryness and coat condition, paw sensitivity, ear health, and breathing quality. By identifying potential abnormalities in advance, the technique targets how seasonal changes affect daily life. Standard services encompass vaccinations, parasite control, wellness exams, and fecal and blood testing for condition monitoring. Cobb Animal Clinic devises treatment programs for persistent dry skin issues in the winter, spring, and fall allergies without commas.
