If you come here, it's because you are desperate for someone to help your beloved pet and you are also under extreme stress. I wish you the best and please know you are at the right place. Stephanie (front desk) spoke with me over the phone, gave me sound advice and stayed completely calm. She deals with everyone on the phone and everyone that comes in the door. I'm not sure how she does it, but she does and her calmness is appreciated. Dr. Thompson performed Zoe's surgery to correct GDV. She explained everything before and after the surgery, during one of our post-op visits and called us the day after we took Zoe home. She and her staff did excellent work. I regret that I don't know all their names. Zoe came home on very heavy pain meds but she was comfortable and that's what counts. CVS is not inexpensive and they talk about price before they begin. Some may find this hard but it's necessary, for everyone. Don't think of it as "putting a dollar value" on your priceless pet's life. They are being honest with you so can make informed decisions and arrangements. In life, nothing is guaranteed but at least you'll know exactly where you stand. Zoe is currently resting and feeling better each day. I'm glad we have CVS at our disposal. Read Less

Dr. Sigle is wonderful, compassionate and caring. However, it's a mixed bag with the Greensboro office. I would put my dog to sleep before letting Dr. Lew touch one paw. The front desk is mostly helpful but overall, I would recommend. I would advise a few things: Look up reviews on each doctor. This is a big clinic. Some of the staff are just wonderful (like Sigle), some not so much. This is a specialty clinic. Expect to pay specialty prices unless you have a pet insurance plan. Be an advocate for your pet. Vets can be wrong. Get a second opinion. Be aggressive if they give you a prognosis that does not sound right or solve your problem. I had to learn the hard way to question them and ask lots of questions. If I accepted their first answer, my dog would not be walking right now and if I had asked more questions with my other dog, he would be alive right now. That's on us. Our pets expect us to be their advocate. Ask, ask, and ask, again, then challenge and get another opinion. Read Less

I wish I could give NO stars! I am a nurse and I bend over backwards to help people because I love what I do. This place not only turned me away with my sick dog when I scheduled an appointment, I had to return in the same day to their emergency clinic. NOTHING was done. My vet referral was there, lab results, xrays and they couldn't even take the time to come in and be compassionate and tell me what I needed to do. All they wanted was money and another appointment for the oncologist (more money). I only wish my dog wouldn't have to suffer and I had more choices for vet specialist in my area. Would never refer anyone here and I will rely this information to my vet as well. Read Less

I was referred to this office for my cat by my vet back home just for an outpatient abdominal ultrasound procedure. It was easy to schedule the appointment; however, during drop-off, they seemed confused about the referral even though my vet had sent over the referral yesterday evening and despite my talking to them on the phone the day before. I even talked to the vet tech. who would assisting with the ultrasound. When I went to pick my cat up, I asked for notes or any news/reports on my cat's ultrasound. The girl at the front desk, who was extremely nice and polite, said that she did not see anything in her computer about my cat. I would like to state that this receptionist is by no means responsible for the problems I encountered. I put over $500 into an ultrasound and biopsy. All I wanted to know is what they saw on the ultrasound. I had no problem waiting for biopsy results. I also received no instructions on how she should be treated or what my next steps would be on taking care of her for the rest of the night. For instance, if the individual who performed the ultrasound thinks it is cancer, how should I take care of my cat for the next couple of days? So, the next morning arrives and my vet from back home calls me stating that he still does not have results from the ultrasound or the biopsy. I was told these would be given to him the next day. Evening comes around and still nothing. Time is critical for me because if my cat does have lymphoma in her GI tract, I don't want her to suffer as she seems to be in pain and it is clearly advanced given her condition. If my cat does not have lymphoma, I need to figure out what I'm going to do because time is running out. I understand that I am not the only patient at this practice. I do not believe my cat should be treated any better than the next; however, the vet conveyed no compassion, care, or concern for my pet. I never received any follow-up calls on when the results would be delivered. I wish my experience would have been better, but it was not. My advice to pet owners is to go elsewhere for any vet services for your loved ones. Read Less

I went to the Animal Emergency and Trauma Center with my dog Sashi. She got out of the yard and was hit by a car. Dr. Clark and the staff at the Animal Emergency and Trauma Center immediately took care of Sashi and let me know that her health was their priority. I felt very comfortable with the care and could tell that they really knew what they were doing. Sashi needed advanced surgery to repair her wounds and was able to stay there and get her care. She was transferred to a surgery specialist right in their facility. It was great that I did not have to move her anywhere else to get the specialized surgery that she needed to get better. No where else has that capability. I would recommend this facility to everyone who needs help for the furry members of their family! Read Less
