Inexpensive spay/neuter clinic. Upfront staff is friendly. Office manager is disrespectful and rude. After being a client since December of 2010 I will never step foot back in this practice. They are always overbooked. The last two times that I had scheduled appointments, my dog or dogs weren't seen until 6 hours later while I sat there waiting. Their prices are great, but not enough to spend my entire day there and not be able to run errands. The best way to be sure your pets are seen on your preferred day is to schedule a drop off between 7: 30 and 8: 30 am. When you drop off see if they are available to pick up by 3 pm. Try not to have to pick them up between 4 and 6 pm, or you will be waiting to see the treating doctor and tech close to 6 pm. They need a larger facility, more vets and more office help. Read Less

I get my pets insulin from Sheetz Pet Clinic since it's much cheaper than going to my normal vet. I've also gotten a few cats spayed here through a voucher program and they always provide pain medicine for free. The only thing I don't like about the clinic is the staff can be a bit short and cold at times. Read Less

I was new to the area, after reading the great reviews regarding Sheets,  I booked an appointment.  Apt set for a early Sat.  I did find the staff very friendly and great.  My early apt became very late as the Dr did not show up for an hour, I did not mind because I was new.  My main reason was senior visit for dog and she had been vomiting.   We did all the blood work, heartworm, everything to see if the Dr could see why she was vomiting and not firm stools. It was suggested that I might want to try a different food but let her go for awhile and give them call back.  The vomiting continued, I tried chicken and rice, nothing was working.  I called back about 3/4 weeks later and told them my dog was not progressing with the diet I was feeding and should I come in or what do they recommend?  No one bother to call me back!  I called the next day and asked again what should I do and would they like to see my dog?  Again no call, I was able to reach someone that afternoon and they said they would leave another message.  The next day I received a call from one of the staff and I was told to go by Science Diet sensitive stomach.  I asked if I should bring my dog in, not necessary I was told. I bought the Science Diet and transition as directed adding pumpkin.  At first she started eating the food but again was throwing up and bad stools.  Several days of this regiment and she continued to get worse.  I was walking her one morning and she vomited horrible and shook for several minutes in pain. I called the clinic and explained my dog was in PAIN, I was told they were very busy because they had a busy surgery schedule , Friday but would try to get someone to call.  I finally called the clinic around 4pm after no one would call back.  I explained my call from the morning and said my dog was in pain, and would it be possible for someone to see her?  the lady on the phone was very polite and apologetic that no one called and said they did have a very busy day.  I asked if I could bring her in the next day, Saturday?  I was told sorry they were full and the first opening was Wed, did I want the appointment? I explained my dog was in pain and the lady said I could take her to an emergency clinic!Just moving into the area and leaving a very busy excellent  vet clinic from where I came from, I was taken back that I was told to go to an emergency clinic, my old clinic always made time for your sick pet. I had hoped to make this my pets clinic but it did not work out that way because they were to busy to see a sick pet over surgeries for the day, and full the next. As it turned out I spoke with an acquaintance and she gave me the name of another clinic, where I was able to get in Monday.  The first thing they did was give my pooch and IV for dehydration, full exam and the Dr said severe gastroenteritis or something like that.  she was given a shot to stop the vomiting and medication for a month .  Recommended change in food to an all natural food.  I also received an call the next day to see how she was doing. This clinic will be the one I choose going forward, I believe sick pets should always be given an appointment regardless if you are  a new or old customer.I am not posting this to pit one clinic to another, that is why I will not say where I went.  I feel someone within the organization here should look at some priorities. I own a pit bull and he’s a year and a half. he’s super entergetic and he broke his toenail. they managed to fix his toe nail, neuter him, check for heart worms and microchip him for all under $250.00!!!!! another vet tried to charge me 175 just for the neuter alone! amazing people and the place is very clean. Highly recommend! They made it possible (affordable) to rescue a stray cat . I was very pleased with the experience, they’re well organized, staff listened to what I wanted and made clear documentations on her paperwork. Everything indicates that the cat was treated well, she was dropped off in a trap since it was the only way I could catch her and returned to me looking like a pampered pet. I was so impressed that I took another cat in for a dental. The cost was reasonable and the care was very good. They gave me a chart and details of the teeth they removed as well as comments about her overall dental health. Read Less

This vet knowingly gave my diabetic cat insulin that had been removed from the market. She wanted to get rid of her existing inventory and had no concern for the health of my cat. An employee told me and, after doing my own research, immediately found a new vet. I obviously don't recommend this vet!! Read Less

I was really happy with care probided by veterinarian Fidel in every way but the last time I needed for Luna my 17 yrs old cat this new to me lady vet. was so fast talking and saying all kinds of possible problems Luna may have kidney failure or tumor cancer lukemia ....that she got me so worry and nerves.. all to ended that the labs results were not my Luna ....becouse at the begining went she did mention to do labs they were about 300. very price so decline it this lady was crazy just talking so fast until I finnally was able to said that's imposable no labs are been done... then she realised got the wrong cat results...Luna had a problem with her mouth possible bee/inset bite ...so I paid 100.00 for telling me all that bad things and flee txs...uhhh I never go back Read Less

When I took my very vocal 6-mo-old rescue kitten in to neuter, the doctor found that some of his secondary teeth were growing behind his baby teeth. I was going to be totally incommunicado that day and had told them to do any procedure they found necessary. They performed oral surgery while he was out. He's still talkative, but it was so obvious that a huge part of his vocals were from pain. I'll always be grateful that they found his problem and took care of it, and the cost was unbelievably affordable. The staff is always busy since it's so affordable, but I'm most concerned for the care for my pets, and they're very good. And I usually have quite a friendly chat with the front office staff at some point. Read Less

I adopted a stray on my own and brought it to sheets for affordable neutering, shots, etc. They were so thorough and called before surgery to tell me about a heart murmur they found and how to proceed. Front desk staff are incredibly rude and unprofessional. In the process of trying to getting four feral kittens fixed, I was told, in a sneaky, just-barely-OK manner, that I was lying abot the cats feral status and that I didn't know the difference between a stray and a feral. I'd love to see Sheets front desk personnel try to pick up one of these kittens up and pet it like a house cat. The kittens don't look like ferals - scrawny, dirty and hungry - because they have been living in our shop and we have been feeding them. I got the feeling that I was trying to get tame cats fixed at a feral rate. We are donating $500 to a no-kill facility that will help find the kittens homes. The few extra dollars would not be an issue at this point. I took the kittens and left. Be sure to check the reviews for Sheets before you go there. Last Friday I went to sheets clinic with my dog Abby. She was 16, had a cancer lump that had gotten huge. I knew not to expect much but was just hoping a had a few more days with her Atleast. Unfortunately that didn't happen & we had to put her down Saturday morning. Dr. Corbin was the doc that day, he was wonderful! I can't say enough how kind, honest but yet very warm and caring to me. Our sweet Cowboy is still going strong! He underwent 3 surgeries to remove an aggressive carcinoma in his mouth starting September 2015 through December 2015. Receptionist is VERY RUDE. I called for my pet's record of immunizations. She act as if it was an inconvenience to have them emailed or prepared for pick up. Then she told me i had a balance of $13. I proceeded to tell this rude moron, anytime i have services done on my pet, i pay the balance in full and up front. She cuts me off in mid sentence and tells me to hold, then comes back to the line stating she'll email the records. So i say "ok and as far as the balance?".....she says "i have too much going on, i have to go." So i say "did u just say u have too much going on and you have to go?" She says "yes, the balance has been waived and zero out". So i asked "but what was it for" and she proceeds with telling me, she has to go and she guess the balance wasn't paid in full (but it was waived without request). That's when i proceeded to call her a f****** moron before discontinuing the conversation. One thing i do not have tolerance for is horrible customer service.Read Less

Customer service is lacking, but service & prices are great. If paying with a check, be prepared to be denied from their automated system & be prepared with alternate payment method. When you call to let them know that there may be an issue with their check approval system, be prepared to be cut off short by the rude receptionist. HORRIBLE CARE!!!! got my GSD neutered when i got him home i realized there was alot of swelling so i rushed him back before they closed!!! the doctor refused to even look at him and told me it was normal... how do you know its normal you didnt even look! 2 days later the swelling was the size of a baseball.. so i rushed him to Guilford college vet where they were in SHOCK and started him on antibiotics for serious infection put him on crate rest as well !!! 3 weeks later he is finally off antibiotics and of crate rest. First experience personally with Sheets Pet Clinic today and there is something left to be desired. I made an appointment for my 11 month pit mix to be spayed and the job was efficient. I don't doubt the skills of their vets/vet techs (although I will mention my pup's belly is covered in razor burn.) The front desk was simply unstaffed. They were swamped with calls and very blunt/straight to the point. While they did understand they were dealing with my baby, do not expect to be handled with kid gloves. Not necessarily an unpleasant visit, but I completely understood when my pup was frantic to leave. Finding an affordable, and local rabbit vet is nearly impossible. Not only was Sheets convenient, but CHEAP ($60 total, as opposed to the usual $300 estimates from exotic pet vets) and without lacking any of the quality. My rabbit is my baby, and I was skeptical, but when I got there they treated him as if he was family. They knew exactly what to do, and were very considerate of his specific needs. The staff was enthusiastic and treated each animal with the utmost respect. My rabbits recovery was fast, and he began to eat immediately after we got him home - it was as if nothing had happened! I haven't  been theree myself, this reveiw is for my best friend who took her cat to the facility. They tested the cat for feline lekuemia, they gave the cat immunizations. Against my friend's wishes, they then microchiped the cat. The results came back after ALL this was done for the lekumia test.The cat had feline lekumia and my friend was then advised she had to put the cat to sleep. (which I understand, as the disease can be a very painful death for a cat.) she was then told she had to pay an addtional 100 dollars to have the cat put down on top of the immunizations.
