My husband and I drive close to an hour to get to Southeast Community Animal Hospital. This is the ONLY vet I will ever trust with my animals. I can't say enough great things about the staff and facility. I truly feel at ease knowing my dogs are in top knotch care. EVERY time I have called with a concern, it has always been answered. My husband and I highly recommend Southeast Community Animal Hospital for above and beyond quality and care for all they do!

The veterinarian did assessment on my pet only told me part of it. I know this cause I asked for exam later on when my pet died. The plan(recommendation) was to give antibiotics only. Now my pet is dead. I took my pet to another vet prior to her death and they told me the truth the assessment all of it and the plan (recommendation) death. If this hospital would have told me the whole truth she would still be alive. This hospital wanted to wait til her condition got worse in my opinion. I tried to save my pet she was healthy. if the hospital would have told me the truth she would be alive. I have all the exams and I am in shock. My pet would still be alive. But while my pet was there she pooped cause she was scared and they told me they would clean it up, they did not I had to. I would not recommend this hospital.

We had been a long standing client for many years and after we had an emergency with our dog was when I decided to look for another vet. We went into the office during regular hours and I told the desk staff that my dog needed medical assistance. I was told that because I didn't have an appointment, I would have to wait! My dog started to throw up and she moved me to a room and told me that "just because I am in a room doesn't mean that I am going to be looked at right away!". Needless to say, my dog got worse and when the tech came in, she immediately told Dr. Scotton, who came right in. I am sorry to say, but my dog died that day! It isn't the veterinarians, it is the desk staff that is very rude and not pleasant to deal with. As a matter of fact, I discussed this with Dr. Scotton to let him know the treatment I was receiving from the front desk staff. They are just extremely rude and they think they are a doctor too! I did go to another vet and they are very happy to have me and my animals! I would recommend going to another veterinarian if you want to be treated with respect.

Drs. Johnson and Greeson were like angels when my Min-Pin developed diabetes. Dr. Johnson (retired now) spent so much time explaining, teaching and support me. She researched every change in Little Bit's condition and emailed me multiple article for my information. In spite of us trying everything possibke including changing insulin to Vetsulin, which she ordered herself, Little Bit finally became too ill to survive. I have never recieved such loving and thorough care for my pets. Although it took a huge toll on me, the love received from the staff was such a huge help. Dr. Greeson perfored surgery on her when she was stable to remove 2 malignant mammory turmors and clean her teeth. She was so well informed about Little Bits condition that I was so comfortable about the surgery. LB did great, in spite of her diabetes! I now have a new baby and Dr. L. Scotton did a great check-up and is helping me deal with Katy's skin condition. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I trust them completely.

Excellent veterinarians. Four years ago they saved my dog's life. They are very compassionate and have always worked with me on the bills. The hospital is very clean and they are very professional- staff and doctors.In the 1990s, Dr. Scotton saved my mother's dog's life. He stayed up all night attending to her. He gave us many more years with her.

Five weeks after moving to the area I had a pet emergency - dog bleeding, moderate but not severe. I drove to the closest vet, they were open and seeing customers. Woman at desk said that since I was not a customer they wouldn't help me. Left a puddle of blood on their floor! And drove to Guilford College to emergency vet.They refused service to a bleeding animal, wouldn't even bother to at least stop bleeding.Cold day in hell before I'll ever go there and I hope you don't either.

Moved to area in August, in September my dog got hurt and I took her to this vet since they were quite close and she was bleeding enough that I was worried. They were open and had patients. I was told that since we were not current clients they would not help us. Desk was fully staffed.
YES, THEY REFUSED ASSISTANCE WHEN MY DOG WAS BLEEDING.
We left a trail of blood splatters out the door and went twenty some minuted away to the Emergency Vet office in Guilford College who saw us immediately and stitched up the wounds.
I'm still pissed off.

My husband and I drive close to an hour to get to Southeast Community Animal Hospital. This is the ONLY vet I will ever trust with my animals. I can't say enough great things about the staff and facility. I truly feel at ease knowing my dogs are in top knotch care. EVERY time I have called with a concern, it has always been answered. My husband and I highly recommend Southeast Community Animal Hospital for above and beyond quality and care for all they do!

The veterinarian did assessment on my pet only told me part of it. I know this cause I asked for exam later on when my pet died. The plan(recommendation) was to give antibiotics only. We went into the office during regular hours and I told the desk staff that my dog needed medical assistance. I was told that because I didn't have an appointment, I would have to wait!
