Mary Catherine Odom DVM opened Sunflower Veterinary Clinic in early July 2013 with the mission to will be provide affordable health and wellness care for small and large animals through an integrative and holistic approach. Dr. Odom has long provided mobile veterinary services as part of her practice, and as of 2017, Sunflower Vet is a mobile only practice. All services provided by Dr. Odom through Sunflower Veterinary Clinic are by appointment only. Dr. Odom earned her DVM from Iowa State University and a degree in English and Spanish from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Odom has extensive experience in the Veterinary field. Previously she held the post of Pre-veterinary Advisor for Arizona State University while teaching Animal Science, Zoology, and Physiology. She also owned and operated a very successful small animal practice in Phoenix, AZ. and a mixed practice in Madison County, North Carolina. Her professional interests include internal medicine, endocrine diseases, dermatology and ophthalmology, and she has completed a Professional Course in Veterinary Homeopathy. She is also certified in Equine and Canine Sports Massage Therapy.
