A very nice veterinary office. With state-of-the-art equipment. They even have cold laser therapy. I found the vets that I've met there to be very kind and compassionate. Getting into the parking lot is a bit tricky as it is a shared driveway so it makes it a little tight but it's a nice big waiting area and the staff is always Pleasant. I spent over $1000 here in the first month I was with them, and it's hard to say I "loved" that. However, they kept me informed every step of the way. As a lot of people who are pet owners we unfortunately have to come to make the decision of letting go of our pets when it is time. I was one of those owners who was struggling with that decision as hurtful as it was but I called Piedmont Vet to talk to them, I was glad I did, I had to take my girl Alley for her last day to see them. They walked me through the whole process and took all the time I needed to let go of my baby. I believe they were the most caring and loving vet I have ever been too, I sincerely appreciate all of them there and the help and guidance they gave me, highly recommended!!! and if I decide to ever get another pet this will be the only Vet I will go to, THANK YOU to all of you there from my heart! Piedmont vets are amazing. Not only have they provided top notch medical care for my pets, they also provide human heart care. I have been a client for over 20 years. I have had several pets in their care. One of my puppies almost died from Parvo. They let me stay next to him twice a day until he was able to come home. I believe he healed quicker knowing how I loved him. But what I cherish most is how they help us through the process of letting our pets go. Every time we had a pet pass, Piedmont treated them with dignity and with care and helped me make the tough decisions. My chihuahua of 19 years had gone senile. I did not understand what was happening... all of my other pets had failed physically. Dr. King (now Dr. Heinze) came in with a checklist and helped me understand what Nikki was going through. Our vets for nearly 30 years, our first generation of cats (nine) and now the next (seven), plus very kind assistance with strays, yard cats, adoptions, and other kitty matters. I manage a few cat colonies for an area charity, and when time is tight and charity aid is out of reach, Piedmont vets and staff have never failed to offer aid, counsel, or emergency referrals. The vets together have an impressive array of special interests and strengths, from top-grade surgery to behavioral counseling to large animal practice. Dog owners seem as happy as we have been with our cats. Perhaps pricier than some (debatable), but worth it. Generally regarded as the best in Northern Orange. Their sister clinic, Mebane Pet Clinic, shares vets,staff, and records, a great convenience for those of us with animal interests in both locales. Read Less

Piedmont Veterinary Clinic has provided impeccable service over the years. My cat was a patient there some years ago, and she received excellent care that was kind, thorough, and informative for me as a pet owner. These vets and staff are *terrific*.  We moved to the Triangle 3 years ago with two cats and LOVED our vet back home. We worried that we wouldn't find another vet as good as Dr. Linda -- but the folks at Piedmont have pleased us and our cats.One cat had to have some teeth extracted, and the surgeon was great -- both with Emma *and* with the humans. We fostered a stray kitty for a few weeks, and Dr. Heinze was great with him; the rest of the staff were also good with my repeated phone calls about stray-kitty's health.  We see Dr. Kip regularly for our permanent cats, and she is friendly and knowledgeable. It helps that she thinks our cats are sweet and good-looking.When we get there, we are immediately ushered into the exam room, so the cat(s) can be de-crated and walk around the room without fear of goggles or other kittens.  We also pay in the exam room, which means that our kittens' exposure to the rest of the veterinary clinic is very minimal -- reducing stress on all concerned.We've since moved 25 minutes away from Piedmont, but we still take our cats there.
