Kudos to CLAH!! From the front desk, to the back everyone is honestly there because they love animals. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I am very happy with the wait time when I come in also. If we ever have had to wait it is because another animal is worse off than mine. That makes my heart happy that they are more worried about saving the life than making a human happy. As long as they continue to love our fur babies as much as they do we will continue to go here. Great job you guys!! Keep doing what you love! The visit its self was fine, they provided a complimentary wellness exam and a nail trim for my dog. My complaint is that they didn't do the services that were due within a couple of weeks from my appointment. My dog was past due for a heartworm test and a Parvo vaccine. Within 12 days, she needed a bordatella booster and an intestinal parasite exam 2 weeks after that. I'm very disappointed that they didn't perform those upcoming services, even though I asked for them, with the upcoming due dates close at hand. It feels disrespectful of my time - I don't intend to make bi-weekly trips to the vet. Read Less

I was referred by my mother in law, and I couldn't be more pleased. I had been with another vet and every time I went there, i somehow acquired many more hidden fees that weren't discussed with me. Sometimes over 100 dollars worth. Not cool. Not only are the staff here AWESOME, but they discuss everything with you up front, which is perfect when you're paycheck to paycheck like I am. We have used this vet for a couple of years now, of course we only have to go in yearly so that is only a couple of visits. My last trip in I schedule the appointment first thing in the morning. I had both dogs with me, a 52 lb pit/bull terrier mix and a 42 lb pit/lab mix, both of which are still very young and playful! I watched as people who arrived after me (I was 10 minutes early to my appointment) were ushered into rooms, as I struggled with my dogs for 45 minutes to get into a room and then waited 15 minutes for the vet tech. I gave it 20 more minutes and told the ladies at the front that I had another appointment and had to go. One of the girls at the front desk was rude and said the vet is going to be right in. We went to Cypress Lakes for several years with our dogs. They were always nice and we felt they took care of our dogs. However, when our four month old puppy hurt her leg, our opinion of Cypress Lakes completely changed. After x-rays the vet said that she would need a $900 surgery to fix her leg. That was on Thursday and they scheduled the surgery for Monday morning. Monday afternoon came and we got a call that our dog couldn't be fit into their schedule because of other emergency visits. Frustrated, we took our dog to another vet. The other vet looked at the x-rays and didn't think that she needed any surgery, but if she did it would be $500. The vet called an animal orthopedist (bone doctor) for a second opinion. That vet said no way, she will be fine. Cypress Lakes was wrong on the diagnosis. Their surgery would've been very painful for my dog (put a pin in her knee). The surgery would've been expensive (even compared to other vets). They also didn't give her the attention we felt was needed because they rescheduled her appointment. Additionally, they did not tell us that the surgery wasn't actually done at their clinic, but that they were going to transport our dog to an affiliated vet for surgery. Ive taken 3 animals here, including my guinea pig. Unfortunately, my little dog was sicker than I had known but they did the best they could for him. Dr. Riveria showed knowledge and compassion in dealing with my Shih Tzu and congestive heart failure. I was also able to take care of his cremation through their office using a 3rd party. My heart is still broken almost 3 weeks later, but I know she did her best for him. Read Less

This place is unprofessional I called to bring in a animal lady have me information went on an lady told me totally different made my son feel as they didn't want his puppy there they only wanted big dogs because that's all he seen. She wasn't nice either. Sorry but it's upsetting. Read Less

I always say there are enough words to express the gratitude I feel towards Cypress Lake and their staff. My personal experience is with Dr. Kristen and Ashley Cochran. I have never worked with anyone like either of them. When I go in there I know that my questions are going to be answered, my dog is going to be taken care of, and he will receive a ton of love from these women. Oskar has megaesophagus and almost lost his life to it before being introduced to Dr. Kristen. She did a lot of research and worked hard to figure out a combination of medication saved his life and has allowed us so many precious days with him. Although it is a condition that is not going to be cured, every time we have had a problem they have gone above and beyond to save his life. And they have saved his life multiple times. Without Cypress Lake we would not have Oskar today. I truly love this place, the staff, and especially Ashley and Dr. Kristen. Thank you for all you do for us and for the community! Great staff, caring, kind and friendly. We have taken my daughters rabbit for a quick nail trim, and they were so great. They explained everything to my daughter who was very nervous about her bunny. Facility is impeccably clean. I would recommend to everyone looking for a great vet! Read Less

I have never been to a veterinarian with as much hospitality, communication, and pet service. I am new to the Fayetteville area and was asking my colleagues where they go for pet care. I've had my shepherd for 6 years and have to board her for this first time. She has anxiety and has never been boarded. I needed to update her shots because they had ran out less than a month before and I hadn't realized it until a few days before I was set to leave and my boyfriend was set to deploy so he couldn't keep her. I went to the Southern Oaks location (my friend swears by how amazing they are and they are a sister company) and because of miscommunication that is neither here nor there, I didn't think I was able to board her or get her seen. I was very put down. We called the Cypress Lakes location and I explained. They were troubled to hear of the miscommunication, made a spot for us to get her shots that day, and I brought her in an hour later. During that whole experience, they spoke directly to my dog, made her feel as safe as they could, and treated her with just as much love as I did. The manager, Nikki, spoke with me about boarding and told me they have 3 companies and that she would personally call around to try and find her a spot. She apologized for the miscommunication from southern oaks, as did the front desk woman who I believe was named Chelsea, and they all pulled together to try and meet my needs. I knew from the beginning that I was in a time crunch and partly from my own mistakes yet they were so helpful. Sure enough, a spot opened up and they called me the next day. She will be boarded with them for a little over a week starting this Friday. I feel so secure leaving her with them and cannot wait to review that experience as well. Her shots that day were more than affordable compared to what I have had to pay in other cities I've lived in and I think we have found our forever veterinarian clinic. I would say I'm speechless but I obviously cannot stop talking about how amazing they are. It was worth every moment of the drive there and I couldn't be happier. Read Less

The nurses and doctors are very professional and friendly. I've never had any problems during any of my visits there, and they always make me feel like they really care. Some of the front desk staff could be a little friendlier, but overall this is a great clinic for your pets and I highly recommend it. Read Less

We have not been in the area long and chose to got with this office due to location. We are happy with the professionalism and the staff are amazing and accommodating. We have used them for routine and emergency situations and they have been excellent both times. Read Less

We feel very disappointed with, in our opinion, the handling and care of our pets, that has occurred after the change in Doctors, 4 years ago. The level of professionalism has been very saddening. We have experienced unfriendly staff, rushed appointments, feeling unwelcome in the examining room, unnecessary rough handling during nail clipping from staff that should recognize the signs of animal stress before a dog nips. I do want to say one thing. I have the BEST veterinary clinic around here. Cypress Lakes Animal Hospital with Dr. Wofford and Dr. Herron. Dr, Wofford is Angel's regular vet but Dr. Herron and Elaine (whom I adore) are the ones who put my Baby Girl to sleep. The circumstances were horrible but it was nice meeting Dr. Herron for the first time. I always kid Dr. Wofford that she should change her name to Wooford. Vet humor, I guess. Anyway, I can't thank them enough for their putting up with my bawling like a baby and then their gentle treatment of Angle most of all. God bless you both. Read Less

This vet went above and beyond for my family this year. we had to let our lab go. they were amazing and mad what was a painful process less stressful, including staying open over 2 hours later, and never pushing for US to hurry. this vet is the only one I trust.Read Less

Love this place & the staff. Most important is that my dog seems happy to go in. I've been very satisfied with the care my pets have received there & really appreciate the "perks they offer for our patronage, like free nail trims. My family has been using this clinic for over a year. We have always had good experiences until recently. I was very disappointed last week with the front desk. We took our new puppy in for his second set of shots. The older lady at the front desk seemed impatient and irritated with my questions. She was not friendly. I would have been more understanding if it was busy, but there was only one other person in the lobby. After checking out we realized they gave my puppy a shot that it was not due for yet. Fortunately my pet is ok. I would have appreciated the staff being as understanding with my questions as I was with their mistake.Read Less

Had to put to sleep our first family dog. She was there for all three kids going to school, protection, uncompromising friendship and love. The let all the neighbor kids that grew up with her into the room, was after hours and didn't rush anything, I love that dog with all my heart and everyone there were 100% professional and copassionate.
