I never thought the owner would allow his promise and good word be manipulated in a punitive, vindictive way, but that's what happened. In September 2015, after my cat was attacked by a dog, owner Tom called to inform me he would put her to rest and mail her remains home to me. He was very kind and showed great compassion. 8 months later I saw Tom and Donna in public and when I asked about her he said "he would check into it". After an entire year had passed my emails pleading the management to locate and return her was met with a sociopathic punitive response, adding immeasurable suffering to the most painful time of my life. I have never been so hurt or felt so betrayed as I did by the betrayals from Lake Cross. After 14 months my cat was returned without even so much as an apology. The Acupuncture therapy treatment is outstanding at your practice. Dr. Wahl is very observant throughout the process, and responds to changes each time. The staff was very sympathetic to us when we brought Annie for her final vet visit. It was a terrible decision to come to, and the staff provided a special room for us to spend our final minutes with her. Thank you for not making us check in and go to the waiting room. Dr Wahl and Lakecross Vets have been the very best in loving us and our dogs, even beyond when our Mandy passed. As Mandy got older, Dr Wahl walked us through every year's challenges...pain management, cataracts, arthritis, hearing loss...with a reverence and love that all seniors deserve. When it was "time", she and her staff organized everything for us. Plus, she went above and beyond by coming to our home to put Mandy to sleep so that Mandy could go peacefully in our backyard in the sunshine. We received a card a few days later, but yesterday we unexpectedly received this memorial stone. What a special and heartfelt gift! Today was our first visit - we moved to Charlotte within the last year and I have been searching for a good vet for my dog and cat. I called yesterday and was not expecting to be able to get in today because of the short notice, but they were able to get me an appointment! Great staff, super friendly my Cat is typically nervous at the vets but Dr. Kappers really made her feel comfy and safe. Will definitely take all my cats to her. The receptionist was really friendly and offered me a beverage. The facility was really clean and no pet order, really enjoyed the television in the lobby. Yesterday, I woke up to my dog being pretty unresponsive and having labored breathing. I have an english bulldog that has suffered for the past 6 months with health issues. We have been in and out of the hospital trying to get him taken care of. I've seen about 6 different vets and every time I've gotten a general description of what "might" be wrong, an antibiotic, and a 500 receipt. When I started calling around for a vet yesterday morning explaining my dog was unresponsive, I had one place tell me they were full. When I called Lake Cross, I could tell by the person who answered the phone this was the place I wanted to go to. She told me to bring him in immediately and even comforted me me I was apologizing for being so emotional. As soon as I showed up they snagged Calvin out of my arms and straight to the back. Someone came in to take my information and made sure I was completely comfortable. Consistently asking if I need water or coffee They wanted to make sure I was emotional alright. I had previously been to a vet where I was asked at one point "what I was crying about?" So, this was very comforting. Dr. Tuttle was the only Vet who actually took X-Rays and explained to me everything she saw. She called and scheduled an appointment with the specialist right away. I did not have to wait for answers or sit in a waiting room for long periods of time. I was constantly checked on and she actually listened to every thing I had to say about what my dog had been through. I've never been more impressed with veterinarian office in my life.
