I had a great experience here. Came as an emergency visitor because my regular vet couldn't squeeze me in. They did whatever they could to make my aggressive cat comfortable and took their time explaining to me what my cat could be experiencing and what my options where. They even followed up twice within a few days of our visit to see how my cat was feeling. After this visit I've considered making these folks my permanent vet. Animal Hospital of Kannapolis has very caring vets but is overpriced compared to other local animal hospital. I was told I needed a bordatella vaccine for my small dog and it would be $40 at this facility as compared to $21-25 at other local facilities. Prices and lack of newer, state of the art facilities are the only downside to this animal hospital. Read Less

Purchased flea meds for my dog...told it would last 12 weeks..at 7 weeks my dog has fleas again. I called and was told that because there were 'a couple extra days in Nov and Dec' that that might be why and 'maybe' it would be safe now to give him something else. I asked how a couple extra days in a month accounts for it working 5 less weeks than what I was told! I wasn't given an answer and when I brought up that I paid for 12 week flea meds that only worked for 7, I was told to call the company that makes Bravecto and 'maybe' they'd refund me something!! Very unprofessional and probably not something you should risk losing a customer over..not to mention the negative reviews you'll be getting. Read Less

Not happy with prices. All we needed was an xray. Didn't even have an exam by the doctor & we were charged 130.00 for 1, yes 1 sheet of film. I do xrays in a medical clinic for humans. We charge 16.00 per shot. Highway Robbery!!!!! Read Less

I moved to Kannapolis last year and was dreading having to choose a new vet's office because I really loved the one I went to where I lived before. Took my dog in this morning and I couldn't be happier. The vet tech and veterinarian that I saw couldn't have been friendlier and were so good to my dog who is scared of most people. I'm very happy with my choice and have found my "home" vet here in Kannapolis. Their prices were very reasonable and they weren't pushy at all about additional services. Our first visit here was amazing considering the circumstances. We had to put our beloved dog down after a battle with cancer and the staff was amazing, empathetic, and very comforting. They even sent us a sympathy card signed by the whole staff. They are now our family vet.Read Less

We have been taking our pets here for years. It is even better now! I love the way they care for each of my dogs. We've never had a problem. My oldest was 17 when he passed away.
