I cannot say enough about this vet. They were extemely helpful with my dogs needs. The medication that I decided on did not help and they went above and beyond to make sure that he was taken care of. An actual vet helped me and spent a great deal of time talking about different options to take. I will be going back as long as I have an animal for them to treat. Read Less

Took my Yorkie to be seen and 3 shots were given. However, Dr. Beegle stated that she did not know why my Yorkies back was arched up and head down. $100 dollars later, 2 meds were given that did absolutely nothing. 4 days later I returned, only to be given 2 more meds with no definite diagnosis for my Yorkie. 3 days later, I find a new Vet Clinic who immediately knew what my Yorkie was experiencing and explained in full details what the possible outcome could be. In all, my Yorkie became temporarily immobile due to a pinched nerve/spinal injury to his neck. The new vet also stated that it could take 2 weeks to see improvement if any. Since moving to Mebane many years ago I have only taken my fur babies to Mebane Pet Clinic. When I lived down the road in Burlington it was difficult to choose a clinic as I never got that "feeling"....they were good but never made me or my pets feel like they really cared. She sits down with my Sweet Georgia Brown to remind her that they are dear friends, and is able to get her to do whatever is required without any angst or suffering from my puppy. My dog does not get along with other 4-legged 'people' and the staff at the Clinic are always alert and helpful in clearing the way when I bring her in. Dr E is an excellent doctor, always providing constant caring treatment. Mebane Pet Clinic is great. Dr E. really understands my dogs especially the one that others are usually not comfortable with. I always had to muzzle one of my dogs, but not at here, staff know how to deal with her that we don't need to put either one of us through that experience. I highly recommend Mebane Pet Clinic. As an intern and as a client this is an outstanding clinic. I never have to worry about my animals they are well taken care of always and the doctors are devoted to what they do. There is never a time where someone isn't enjoying what they are doing and looking out for the safety and happiness of the animals. They also are a cat friendly facility unlike some clinics they really go out of their way to ensure the cats are in a great environment that is stress free. Barbara is an outstanding tech who will do anything and everything for any animal that comes in this facility. She has received several recognitions and truly is devoted to her passion of animals. I brought a very malnourished dog to Mebane Pet Clinic. I had heard mixed reviews and decided to bring him here due to my Vet's office being closed for the day. At first they were very eager to help, then they found out I go to another Vet's office and that I went to them as a second choice. They immediately turned down care for the dog. They did not like that my pets were patients at another local office and said they didn't want to steal patients from them. I told them there was no worry about that because this was an emergency situation and my main priority was the dog and it's well-being. They decided they couldn't see me after that. I drove to another vet clinic and they saw me immediately, giving that poor baby the care and treatment he needed. I was helped by Barbara at Mebane Pet Clinic and she was very unprofessional in the way she treated this entire situation. She treated us like criminals because we would not take him to a shelter. She said that by law I had to take him to a shelter. My Fiancé is a law enforcement officer and, I can assure you, there is no law that states that. She lied to me. I do not understand why you would work with animals if you do not want to help them. I do not recommend anyone bringing their animals here. They do not care about anything but money.Read Less

Melina Efthimiadis has known my pets for 10 years, and helped them at MPC for 5 years. Dr. E is a wonderful DVM, person, and advocate for pets' wellness and care. I have utilized Dr. Kim Beegle for out-of-the-box ideas for medicating allergy atopy dogs and some other fast inquiries, to the benefit of my babies.But, it is Dr. E that has saved my 16 year old dog's health many times, after many other DVMs and an internist had difficulty diagnosing him and treating him, starting 5 years ago. She has been a lifesaver, literally.  If a pet is fearful, anxious, or aggressive, she tries to work with it, but will honestly let me know if they need sedation or more restraint for their, my, and my pet's wellbeing.I have always seen a clean, sanitary lobby, exam room and even lab/treatment area, as they openly let me come see my baby back there or talk or look at rads if needed.The front office staff are friendly, compassionate, and competent for the most part. Occassionally, a veteran that is perhaps burnt out for the day answers the phone, and a direct approach with them gets me the help I am seeking. They've worked on their ettiquette ever since mentioning it in person, and I've had no problem.Assistant and support staff are capable, truly support the doctor and I throughout our exam and procedures, and beyond, what I don't see and witness, the care they provide beyond the exam room is priceless. I have personally thanked a few of the attentive skilled ladies that have helped my old painful, and young fearful, critters through their illness or trauma.MPC and Dr. E are readily transparent and honest about their recommendations and management of my pets' health and well being, including their mental/emotional health. I appreciate when they take the extra time to go slowly with a painful or scared pet, and so often Dr. E has rechecked my babies free of charge, to ensure they are progressing okay. As a regular client, I appreciate these little things, as they speak volumes.Melina Efthimiadis is one of the most ethical, competent, and smartest vets I've utilized, after more than 30 DVMs and more than 20 hospitals, both regular practice and specialty practice, used for my pets since the 90s. My old geriatric dogs, my young crazy active dogs and cats, and my moody or sassy female cats, foster and own, have all benefited from TLC with Dr. E and her entourage. I trust her, emphatically. I run other doctors' diagnoses by her all the time, get her feedback, and her solutions, which have ALWAYS been spot on and effective.In Dr. E, you get the equivalent or better, of a boarded specialist in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, or feline medicine. I've used specialists, and still do, but Dr. E will always have the final say. I just moved to Mebane and I needed a vet. I of course am very picky about who I take my pets too. My dogs are like my children.  Upon entering receptionist was very polite. She was actually a to fit me in the same day. Once the Vet Dr. Beegle came in she was very sweet and didn't take any offense to me knowing about animals and me being a vet tech. She spent a good amount of time in room with us and did explain and answered all my question. Had great attitude. My second visit I brought both my dogs. And even though we waiting a long time in waiting room. Everyone was apologizing. I of course didn't have an attitude cause I do understand what happens in a vet office. I had to have my cat put to sleep here. Most of the staff were incompetent, rude and uncaring. The receptionist threw the receipt at me and said "here". Dr Efthimiadis is in the wrong line of work. Fake and mean spirited. I will NEVER take another animal to them for any reason. I should not have gone back after she lied to me the first time. All they want is your money. Please for the sake of your own animal and your sanity go somewhere else. Just awful. Plus it was dirty. There was dog pee on the floor from the last animal in the room. Read Less

I took my dog to Mebane Pet Clinic to because she was having issues emptying her bladder. It was the first time she has ever been sick and the staff at Mebane Pet Clinic were very nice and helpful. I was able to get an appointment right away. They took an ultrasound of my dogs bladder and found a large stone. Dr. E was very professional and knowledgeable. She explain what was going on and how to treat my dog. She proscribed some medicine to devolve the stone. The Vet Tech, Jennifer was an angel and calmed my nerves while my dog was being looked at and explained how much and how to give my dog her medicine. I had to come back to get the second part of my dogs medicine and it was all ready to be picked up when I got to the Clinic. I then came for a third visit to see if the stone had devolved. It had and was small enough for my dog to pass. I am so thankful for them and I am happy my dog is healthy once again. Thank you Mebane Pet Clinic! Read Less
