I have been bringing my furbabies here for 10 years. The whole staff is amazing. Dr. Luckey and Dr. George treat my babies like their own. When one of my dogs had cancer and had to be put to sleep, they hugged me while I cried and sent me a sympathy card the next day. They always call and email me to check up on them when they are sick or have had surgery. I had used other vets in the past and was disappointed in their service and attitude. I just had my 2 girls spayed last week and I briefly considered a low cost clinic, but there's no one else I trust my furbabies with. I came home from work last night and learned that my Norwegian Forest Cat was acting weird. She hadn't eaten anything and she was not as energetic and vocal as she normally is. I did my standard "treat test" and when she refused her treat, I knew she was really sick. I took her temperature and it wasn't quite high enough for me to take her to the emergency vet, but I wanted her to be seen as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I had to work so my boyfriend volunteered to take her in. I did a quick google search and chose Monroe Animal Hospital based on the reviews and the time they opened. I was surprised when my boyfriend called within 15 minutes of the Animal Hospital opening because the vet had questions. I had assumed he would be waiting for a while, since we were walk-ins. They had examined and treated my cat within an hour. I just got home and my cat is still a little off, but she has eaten and is more affectionate and active than she was last night. I read the discharge papers and they were very clear and concise, which is a relief. I also saw the bill and felt that it was very reasonable, especially for the area. Between the fact that they were able to squeeze her in right away, the reasonable prices, and the effectiveness of their treatment, I would definitely recommend these guys. I wasn't there so I can't say from personal experience that they were pleasant, but my boyfriend says he was treated well. I look forward to seeing my cat recover. Love the staff! They are so friendly, knowledgeable, and have shown care and compassion to my pup needing help. Honestly feels like family when you walk in and all the staff know you and your pup by name! I will be bringing all my babies here in the future! So Glad I found them!
