As a former employee please understand the things I am about to say. I absolutely do not recommend anyone work here or take their pets here. I had only been an employee for the last 3 months and in that time I have seen Dr. Thompson step on his 4 month old puppy's foot to MAKE her sit down, jerk a diabetic dog's head to "make her listen" (his exact words), and jerk a dog's head that was in a muzzle, so hard that the muzzle broke. As well his wife Brenda jerked another of their dogs so hard on a choke chain collar that she went all four paws in the air and then landed on her back in the doorway and then she encouraged me to do the same. Numerous times myself and other employees have been belittled for not knowing what we are doing but not given proper training to have that knowledge. We have regularly been talked to like children between fighting parents with opposing opinions. I was even told by Brenda not to "get my LITTLE feelings hurt and that I am like the loud child in the room when the parents are already stressed." Dr. Thompson has come into the common areas of the facility during business hours in basketball shorts and barefoot which is COMPLETELY unprofessional and unacceptable. As well we have been told by him numerous times that cloth masks do not protect from covid and have been yelled at and berated for not being 6ft apart the whole time we do our jobs, but all he ever wears if not in surgery is a cloth mask. Myself and other employees have been approached by clients in the parking lot that tell us things like "you were very sweet and helpful but I'm so sorry you have to work for that heartless bastard." It breaks my heart to have needed to leave because now I won't be able to help the animals there, but I could not in good conscience stay with that company knowing he mistreats animals AND employees. On top of it all he brings his political views into the work place on a regular basis and in a PUBLIC Facebook post, asked if it's bad if he laid off Biden supporters before Trump supporters in the pandemic, among many other issues. I am disgusted with myself to have stayed with his company as long as I did but due to financial issues I had to make sure I had income for my family until I found a new job. There are many many things I could go on to say continuing this awful review to warn you all away from this business. And if I could give negative stars I would. But at this point I am absolutely appalled they are even allowed to remain open. I will leave it at that.

I called ahead of time and was told they would take my sweet girl. There was no one at the front desk the whole 40 minutes i waited... i ended up leaving. When i called i told them the need and urgency of her condition, the lady on the phone seemed concerned too and told me she would be taken right away. Yet, no one was even at the front desk for 40 minutes. Another lady was waiting with her dog, and another waiting to pay... my sweetie was just waiting there suffering to get taken care of which i didn’t even get when i could’ve saved a lot of time by going somewhere else that would’ve taken her, if only they just told me I’d have to wait... do NOT recommend

My cat was bitten on the spine by another cat. He was unable to stand or walk. I took him to Dr. Thompson, who was his regular vet. I thought he should be put to sleep, but Dr. Thompson wanted to find out exactly what was going on. My cat was in the hospital for 5 days. When I picked him up he was much better but still weak. That was 5 or 6 years ago. The cat is just fine, he is 9 years old now. His only problem is that he became FIV positive from the bite. Dr. Thompson has managed the cat's health all these years and I don't feel that his fees are too high, as I have read here and there. I can't say enough good about Dr. Thompson and his staff.

Yesterday was a day where i had to make one of the hardest decisions ever. I'm extremely grateful for Dr. Thompson and his staff. Dr. Thompson took the time to explain all of the results and what they meant. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them. When he could have be kept treating my very sick girl, i asked him what he thought i should do and he truly thought it was her time. I was in awe of how they handled the entire process. I chose to be with my girl ...as we put her down but i was so comforted that if I couldn't have done that his nurse sat there with her and petted her with me until the end. I was unable to take her with me so they kindly gave me the option of coming to pick her up when i was able. They had never treated my Moly until yesterday and they treated her with such respect and care like they had known her her whole life. Thank you for the comfort you gave my Moly and me. See More

Staff is nice, but the vet is different. We brought my husky and my chihuahua in for a checkup. A couple of shots were given to my chihuahua. It was easy for a small dog, but it was completely different for a husky. Now, I understand that a muzzle would prevent the vet from getting bitten, but I would've thought that a trained professional would be a little more.... professional... I had to put the muzzle on her myself. Then, when he had to take my husky and put her on the table, he had to grab her by her collar and hold her up, essentially choking her. It was a scary experience for both my dogs any my family. That is the first and last time they will be receiving my business. Don't go there if you want a comfortable experience for your pets and yourself.

Rude, he has the personality of a slug,all he wants to do is blood work, blood work comes back fine and then he doesn't know what to do, went to another vet and they figured out what was wrong without even doing blood work,they called thompsons to fax over my cats records and they said they were to busy.Worst vet ever,will tell all we know never to go there,he has lost our business and the ones we have told so far are already looking for a new vet.I didn't even want to give a one star rating.He is an A Hole and a Horrible vet.I hope he goes out of business,so he doesn't rip more people off.

A medical emergency brought me through the office doors for the first time. The staff was quick to come to our aid and not only showed concern for my dog, but for me too. Dr. Thompson is always thorough and concise, the staff are always friendly, welcoming and patient, even when answering 1000 questions from my 5yr old son. Most importantly, I know that while my dog is in their care, his wellbeing is their top priority. You don't find this kind of care everywhere.

Dr. Thompson started as our vet for our beloved blonde Lab Sandy. She was a rescue mom from a trrrible puppy mill. He took good care of her. She loved him. Years later he had to put her to sleep due to severe health issues that were causing her to act some way that she would not ever under normal circumstances. My husband and I took her to his office and he gave us time to say our good byes to her. She died in our arms feeling loved. He kept her body in his office until we could prepare a burial in our back yard. A few days later we received a condolence card from his office. We don't consider him just a vet but a friend.

I was there on 1/22/15 with my sweet HarLee, I called in b/c she was dying and they told me to come on in they would help me. I arrive about 11:10 am for an 11:30 am appt. She passed on her on while waiting on the Vet to get to the office, I waited another 15 min on the Vet to come in. He walked in and said I'm sorry she gone and walked out and told me that we would get my paper work ready. I walked out to the front where the the young lady behind the counter told me that my charges were 90.00. I was so upset that I just paid it and left I spoke with my husband and he said that was unexctapble, so he called hisself and the Vet was extremley rude. I called back down their myself and spoke with Stephen he is the Vet tech and he was extremley nice he told me to come back and her would refund me the whole amount. So my mom and myself got back in the care and drove back down there and once we arrived the Vet came out and told me that he would refund me only 45.00 for the desposal of the body but not for the office visit, because it would look as though he was trying to pay me off not to take him to the Vet board. So Ihave had to dispute the charges through the credit card company and yes I still plan on reporting him to the board! he should not be allowed to take advantge of people, he chagred me for services that where not rendered! And needless to say he did not have a heart or could care a less about the pain of the loss that I had encountered.

I have been wanting to write this review for several yrs. I had to put my beagle down several years ago..he was so cold all he bdid is put the shot
in and mixed his vain and my poor baby was jurking his head and body and tongue out and after talking with other people they said that was a painful death. This man is so damn cold hearted i would not take a poor rat to him must less a dog or cat!!!

Dr. Thompson has been our family vet for almost 15 years. He is caring, kind and thorough. He is also direct and to the point, which I certainly appreciate. His staff has always treated us well and as though our pets are family to them. I can't attest to the issue of price because we have been to no other vet in almost 15 years, but I will be the first to say, regardless, Dr. T, his skill, staff and caring are well worth every penny I have ever spent or will spend. I cannot say enough good things about this practice and their caring hearts!

Dr. Thompson and staff have helped me take care of my older dog who is 14. They have helped with diagnosis of problems and medicine to help her remain mobile and enjoy life. On followup check ups its not all about selling medicine. He considers weight loss and exercise important for her health. He has done a good job with my other dog who is a rescue and had a horrible ear fungus. Has not returned in two months. Plan to take my two cats there this month. Believe I will have more great experiences with him and his staff.

Staff is nice, but the vet is different. We brought my husky and my chihuahua in for a checkup. A couple of shots were given to my chihuahua. It was easy for a small dog, but it was completely different for a husky. I was so upset that I just paid it and left I spoke with my husband and he said that was unexctapble, so he called hisself and the Vet was extremley rude. I called back down their myself and spoke with Stephen he is the Vet tech and he was extremley nice he told me to come back and her would refund me the whole amount. So my mom and myself got back in the care and drove back down there and once we arrived the Vet came out and told me that he would refund me only 45.00 for the desposal of the body but not for the office visit, because it would look as though he was trying to pay me off not to take him to the Vet board. So Ihave had to dispute the charges through the credit card company and yes I still plan on reporting him to the board! he should not be allowed to take advantge of people, he chagred me for services that where not rendered! And needless to say he did not have a heart or could care a less about the pain of the loss that I had encountered.

I have been wanting to write this review for several yrs. I had to put my beagle down several years ago..he was so cold all he bdid is put the shot
in and mixed his vain and my poor baby was jurking his head and body and tongue out and after talking with other people they said that was a painful death. This man is so damn cold hearted i would not take a poor rat to him must less a dog or cat!!!

My pets have always received excellent care, answered all my questions, and helped me to keep my pets healthy and happy! Even when I had to make a difficult decision, the staff was very kind and compassionate. Thank you for all you do for the pets and animals in your care.

Dr. Thompson has been our family vet for almost 15 years. He is caring, kind and thorough. He is also direct and to the point, which I certainly appreciate. His staff has always treated us well and as though our pets are family to them. I can't attest to the issue of price because we have been to no other vet in almost 15 years, but I will be the first to say, regardless, Dr. T, his skill, staff and caring are well worth every penny I have ever spent or will spend. I cannot say enough good things about this practice and their caring hearts!

Dr. Thompson and staff have helped me take care of my older dog who is 14. They have helped with diagnosis of problems and medicine to help her remain mobile and enjoy life. On followup check ups its not all about selling medicine. He considers weight loss and exercise important for her health. He has done a good job with my other dog who is a rescue and had a horrible ear fungus. Has not returned in two months. Plan to take my two cats there this month. Believe I will have more great experiences with him and his staff.
