Meh. Just ok. Recently moved to the area coming from an area with a Banfield that I loved. So, since we are on the “pet plan” that Banfield offers, we of course made appointments at this location for our dog’s check ups. We also got a new puppy that was sick. The check ups were rather blah. It was an in the door, they look good...here’s your heart worm protection and back out the door. Just want a little more of a relationship with my pet’s health provider. Last provider felt like we had known him forever and he was genuinely concerned about our pets well being. The sick puppy visit was a waste of time. They had no idea what was wrong with him and suggested that I take him to a high dollar veterinarian specialist in Charlotte. Puppy is fine. Took him back to the breeder and all is good without the vet bill that would have easily been in the thousands. They are nice and a great place to do Well Visits but I’m looking for a provider that can care for my fur babies when they are sick too. Read Less

It is difficult to get sick pet appointments because of understaffing (veterinarians). With an adopted dog who came with heartworms, I have been given conflicting information about treatment protocols. What turned out to be a skin infection was treated as possible cancer first, delaying the proper treatment of the infection. I have used this Banfield location for 3 previous dogs and was very pleased, but I no longer wish to entrust this dog's care to them, because he needs better care than I believe they can provide. Everyone has been very kind to us, and as helpful as they know how to be, so it isn't pleasant to have to make this decision. Read Less

I had the BEST experience with the Mooresville Banfield! Rachel and Dr. Kearn were so kind and took such good care of my dog. I called them with questions quite a few times after I brought my dog home and they both took thier time and explained things to me very well. Rachel even called to check on my dog the next day. You can tell that they are very passionate about what they do and genuinely care about the animals they treat. I would recommend them to anyone! Read Less

If i could give negitive stars i would .. This banfield never answers their phone . In January when me an my wife had to put our beloved dog of 12 Years the vet told is their was no way they would euthanize our dog unless we spent $5,000 getting her examined and exploratory surgery refused to treat us with respect in our time of sorrow.... Today I tried to give them one more chance as our new pup needed a few stitches.. They didn't answer the phone over a two hour period.. It seems that they are more concerned about making money than the quality of service they provide to families.. I will never again return to banfielsd pet hospital as a company whole. Let alone the Mooresville location.. Read Less

I called into ask about the cost on getting my dog spayed. The lady who answered the phone was so RUDE and said we would have to bring our dog in before we could get any pricing. WOW!!! Sadly I don't feel these people are about making the animal comfortable. IT is totally about the money. I have ALWAYS taken my dogs to Randall, but just to spay a dog is almost $400.00 (small dog) I have called a couple other places and ALL have given me pricing.. (EXCEPT Banfield) Read Less

I just called Banfield Mooresville to make an appointment for my dog who has had diarrhea for the last several days. We are new to the area and looking for a veterinarian. I explained this when I called. I called today on a Thursday obviously very concerned about my dog and the receptionist, Jenny said very coldly we can't see her until Tuesday. Here you have a new potential client coming in and to be treated so abruptly and rudely Is unbelievable to me. Clearly I will not be taking my dog to Banfield Mooresville now or in the future. When you have somebody answering the phone, they are in customer service/relations role. All she needed to do was say I'm so sorry we're very swamped let me see what I can do. Anything but we can't see her till Tuesday with absolutely no compassion! Very unfortunate! Read Less

I've taken my 2.5 month old puppy Jane twice to the Mooresville Banfield. The first time for her first puppy wellness, and the second time for her booster shots. I was so impressed I of course wanted to join their Puppy Wellness Program! We see Dr. Theobold and she is fantastic. I am a bit of a worrywart and she is so patient while she listens to my endless array of questions! All the staff there (that I have encountered) is so nice. Sometimes you have to wait a bit, but I think that is the same at all doctors offices - even for us humans! Jane loves looking around at new toys while she waits and she wags her tail every time she sees another pet coming past her! Read Less

I went in for my first puppy visit, mainly because of their "free" 1st time visit coupon.  I was pushed pretty hard by the technician, and then the vet, to sign up for their wellness program.  I felt that they were interested more in selling that than getting to know me and my puppy.  I also feel they gave my puppy a shot that I declined.  Unfortunately, it wasn't until after my visit that I did the research and found this:  consumeraffairs.com/pets….  Also, the wait while in the exam room was a little too long.  My puppy became very anxious and uncomfortable waiting.I won't be going back. I'm glad I didn't judge Banfield by the vets in our old city. In comparison, the staff and vets at the Mooresville Banfield are very personable, empathetic, and reasoned in their approach. I'm so glad I stuck with the Wellness Plan for my dog, too. If I wake up and Buddy suddenly has green goo coming out of his eyes, I just call them up and they find a way to squeeze us in (and I never have to decide whether the illness is worth a vet fee). I also rarely wait at this location. There are some days when it's busier there, but it's easier to be patient when you know somebody else's dog or cat is sick and taking priority. Read Less

I got a puppy and was not mentally or physically prepared for it! The staff at Banfield in Mooresville has been AMAZING. I've already been in many times and made multiple phone calls... they are always more than willing to help and are very courteous and informed. My first visit I had a 2 page list of questions for the vet and she answered every single one and even gave me time to take notes. I haven't had an issue with waiting for a room, but I go towards the end of the day so maybe that's key. Every time we go my puppy is excited for the attention and love that the staff has for her. She is already getting recognized by name and visits from every staff member when we are in the room. They always call the day after her appointment to check on her. I have NEVER found customer service like this at any other vet. I am a huge fan and have already recommended Banfield to friends.The convenience of her vet being in Pet Smart is great but also my pup isn't scared at all of the vet because she loves Pet Smart. She practically drags me into the building whether we are there for the vet, training or shopping. Her lack of stress is a HUGE plus. Read Less

Plan to be here a while...My pup went for his first appointment and there was only one person checking people in and out. It took at least 30 minutes to get into a room. Thats really my only complaint. Besides that the employees are helpful and the DR did take the time to answer many questions we had.  Im still on the fence about the puppy wellness plan they and promote. Hopefully its worth the monthly 26.99 and 1st time sign up of 39.99. Read Less

Meh. Just ok. Recently moved to the area coming from an area with a Banfield that I loved. So, since we are on the “pet plan” that Banfield offers, we of course made appointments at this location for our dog’s check ups. We also got a new puppy that was sick. The check ups were rather blah. It was an in the door, they look good...here’s your heart worm protection and back out the door. It is difficult to get sick pet appointments because of understaffing (veterinarians). With an adopted dog who came with heartworms, I have been given conflicting information about treatment protocols. What turned out to be a skin infection was treated as possible cancer first, delaying the proper treatment of the infection. I have used this Banfield location for 3 previous dogs and was very pleased, but I no longer wish to entrust this dog's care to them, because he needs better care than I believe they can provide. I've taken my 2.5 month old puppy Jane twice to the Mooresville Banfield. The first time for her first puppy wellness, and the second time for her booster shots. I was so impressed I of course wanted to join their Puppy Wellness Program! We see Dr. Theobold and she is fantastic. I'm so glad I stuck with the Wellness Plan for my dog, too. I got a puppy and was not mentally or physically prepared for it! The staff at Banfield in Mooresville has been AMAZING. I've already been in many times and made multiple phone calls... they are always more than willing to help and are very courteous and informed.
