Probably the worst experience of my life. When I awoke, I realized my cat was deathly ill and would have to be put down. I called these creeps at 8am on the dot and they refused to take him until 430pm. Gut wrenching and extremely cruel. Awful people.

I had a terrible experience but with the best advice. My ferret was very sick. Dr. Chance looked over him and he was very thorough in his examination. Although my result was not as expected, Dr. Chance was very thorough in his observances and made sure no undo pain was inflicted opon his patients. It was a hard decision that had to be made, he let me make it on my own accord, at my own pace. As painful as it was, it was less painful by the company that was there during the end. I questioned my choice and he reassured me that it was the decision he would have made in my position and I found comfort in that. It's hard but extended pain is not the answer for your pet. thank you dr. chance and staff!!! I am eternally grateful!!!

My cat had his first visit at Village Animal Hospital this past week. We had such a great experience. He is usually very scared at the vet's office but everyone was so sweet to him he purred the whole time, made biscuits and even gave a few of the girls head boops! To top it all off, it was bring your cat to the vet day! We will definitely be going back so that John Henry can visit all of his new "girlfriends" again!

We had to put my loving dog cassie to sleep Friday. She had Cancer all over. I just want to thank the vet and staff for being so loving and kind to cassie as well as myself and family. This was the hardest thing we ever had to do and they were so kind and compassionate to us . We highly recommend this veterinarian hospital to everyone. We will be back someday..

In March we chose Village Animal Hospital for our new puppy's care. We were 5 star pleased and have been until today. Today our 9 month old, 84 pound German Shepherd was there for a tech visit to get ...
In March we chose Village Animal Hospital for our new puppy's care. We were 5 star pleased and have been until today. Today our 9 month old, 84 pound German Shepherd was there for a tech visit to get his K9 Bordetella booster and get his nails trimmed. He was taken to a room with a cat being treated on the opposite table in the same room. Many German Shepherds are aggressive towards cats. Thankfully ours is not, but the staff (who hadn't handled our dog before) did not know his temperament. If I were the cat owner I would be very upset at this scenario. Previously the tech staff gave him peanut butter on a stick and he licked it while they trimmed his nails. This time they felt he should be muzzled and held down on the floor by 3 people to trim them. Not a good experience at all. One of the techs even said "I didn't sign up for this today!" Very unprofessional. Our dog is not aggressive at all but their treatment certainly encourages aggressive responses which we cannot allow. The staff gave us the feeling that they wanted to get it over with instead of providing a good experience. We never felt this way when Dr Moritz was there. His staff always said thank you and sent the dog away with a treat. We are now in the process of looking for a new vet in the area.

I am so sad that Dr. Mo has sold his practice and that Dr. Lusk has left. Dana is gone too, Kim is gone and Daisy left last week.

I am so sad that Dr. Mo has sold his practice and that Dr. Lusk has left. Dana is gone too, Kim is gone and Daisy left last week.
I had to take my little dog Lucy for a vaccine and heartworm test. A vet tech came out to get Lucy and Lucy was too scared of her so I walked back with the tech and Lucy. When Lucy was on the table, the new vet tech put a muzzle on Lucy. I said "no don't do that she does not bite". Another vet tech that I had never met before, said "yeah that is what all of you say". I started to get Lucy and leave but I wanted to get the vaccine and the blood work done
When I went out and waited for Lucy I was very upset. Then this vet tech came out and I handed my Discover Card to her. She then asked to see my drivers license. I have been to quite a number of vets before I found Dr. Moretz. None of them EVER put a muzzle on Lucy. She was terrified. Also no vet office has ever taken my driver's license when I gave my credit card.
Dr. Moretz and his staff were the best in Mooresville and probably the state of North Carolina. The current group that is left needs to learn about customer service and how to connect with the pets but the people who love them.
Needless to say, I will not be going back to the Village Animal Hospital.

I have relied on this hospital for YEARS and now Dr Moretz is Leaving and Dr.Lusk. Today they did not mix the CLAVAMOX at all and they always do even the TECH told me she should had mixed it and they made me pay for it again even though the VET TECH said it was her fault! My animals will never go back after all these years I am looking for a good veterinarian again if Dr. Moretz was there he would had taken care of me! This place will CRUMBLE when he leaves! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN WILL YOU GET MY BUSINESS!!

Thor had an amazing experience for his first time going here. My wife and I were looking for a local vet to go to for a long time and we've researched and even visited to other places. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. The only complaint I would have was the wait time, but it was well worth the wait for such a good experience. The place is well kept, cleaned and organized. Thank you to all the staff at Village Animal Hospital!

We are new to the Mooresville area and Village Animal Hospital was recommended to us. We could not be more pleased with the care and attention given to our dog Maggie. Dr. Lusk and Daisy are amazing. You can truly tell that they love the animals, and they always have an upbeat attitude around them. We always leave smiling and feeling good. Keep it up!

My cat had his first visit at Village Animal Hospital this past week. We had such a great experience. He is usually very scared at the vet's office but everyone was so sweet to him he purred the whole time, made biscuits and even gave a few of the girls head boops! I have relied on this hospital for YEARS and now Dr Moretz is Leaving and Dr.Lusk. Today they did not mix the CLAVAMOX at all and they always do even the TECH told me she should had mixed it and they made me pay for it again even though the VET TECH said it was her fault! My animals will never go back after all these years I am looking for a good veterinarian again if Dr. Moretz was there he would had taken care of me! This place will CRUMBLE when he leaves! Thor had an amazing experience for his first time going here. My wife and I were looking for a local vet to go to for a long time and we've researched and even visited to other places. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. The only complaint I would have was the wait time, but it was well worth the wait for such a good experience. The place is well kept, cleaned and organized. Thank you to all the staff at Village Animal Hospital!

We are new to the Mooresville area and Village Animal Hospital was recommended to us. We could not be more pleased with the care and attention given to our dog Maggie. Dr. Lusk and Daisy are amazing. You can truly tell that they love the animals, and they always have an upbeat attitude around them. We always leave smiling and feeling good. Keep it up!
