Hope Crossing Animal Hospital is fantastic. All members of the staff are extremely helpful, caring, smart, and really take an interest in pets AND people! I have been taking my dog here for a few years and he receives the best attention, without over diagnosing or suggesting unnecessary procedures. I trust them! Advice and consultations are always helpful! They even make house calls if needed, which when our cat was failing due to liver disease, was a comforting experience. I’ve had 3 of our 4 dogs dentals with Dr. Webster. Like most people, these furry friends are family. When is comes to putting family under anesthesia you want to know they will be as safe as possible. Dr. Webster has qualified Registered Veterinary Techinchians on staff to ensure the safest highest caliber medical environment is achieved. All the staff are always pleasant. I really appreciate Dr.Webster taking time out of his scheduled appointments to discuss with me all that was done following all 3 dentals. He showed me the dental radiographs, taking time to fully explain why certain teeth had to extracted. That task could have easily been regulated to a RVT. Getting face time with the doctor is always appreciated. The extra personal touch of a follow up call the next day to check up on patient and client is a wonderful thing. Read Less

Dr Sweet is amazing she took the time to go over my dogs results. she showed me the X-rays after hours and described everything going on. Gave me free samples to help me find something that works for my dogs elevated liver enzymes. She is truly amazing. Highly recommend this vet! Read Less

Having just moved to the are a few months back, I initially chose another Animal Hospital  based on a few recommendations.   I wont go in to details but needleless to say it was not a good match for my dog. After a few visits strictly for his annual shots and follow up boosters, I decided I would find a new office the next time he needed to be seen. That visit was much sooner than I would have anticipated.  Just under a week ago, my pup started acting strangely, pacing back and forth, roaming from room to room and unable to sit still for more than a few minutes at a time. With no sleep that night, I rushed him to Hope Crossing so that we would be there as soon as they opened.    They could tell how upset I was and without hesitation took my info and said they would fit him in.  The office staff and Dr. Sweet were so compassionate and made me feel better about leaving him having never been there before.  When we went back the following day for additional testing, he did not exhibit the same fear that he had shown at the previous office he had been too. Best vet ever!! My kitty was having major allergy probs on the holiday weekend & my reg vet couldn't see her until Tuesday. I called around & found Hope Crossing & they worked her right in even on a Saturday. The staff were all super friendly from the receptionist to the tech to the vet. They were so sweet & took so much time with my Bella & answered my (many) questions patiently & thoroughly. Having animals my entire life, I can honestly say this was one of my very best vet experiences I've had & I changed my records for them to be my permanent vet. The drive is a few minutes further than my other vet but well worth it. Loved that they have a special exam room for kitties instead of cats being treated like second class to dogs like many vets I've been to. They are hidden off of 15-501 near J Allen & Sons BBQ - so glad I found them & they put my mind at ease about my kitty's issues without having to worry all weekend. Read Less

My dog had ticks that I wasn't able to remove. Monday morning, without an appointment, I took Fido in. They were very understanding of my busy schedule and concern for my dog. I left him there to be seen in between scheduled patients. About 40 minutes later I got the call that he was all taken care of. What great service. And the dog loves everyone there! We have had a very good experience with Hope Crossing Animal Hospital over the four years that we have used their services. Located down a short country road, my Bassets are safe and happy there. We are currently dealing with one Basset who has gone down in the back end --their care and knowledge has been outstanding. Dr. Webster has a special love for rescued dogs, which ours are. The office is clean, very pleasant and helpful staff and vets are current on their knowledge and treatments. We drive 50 miles round trip to see their vets. They all care about our pooches. My dog, Baxter, is a "regular" at Hope Crossing. He goes to Day Care there three days a week and loves it - plus I feel confident that he is well cared for while I am at work. Last week he received a vaccine and upon picking him up at Day Care it was explained to me very thoroughly that the injection site was sore, he was somewhat lethargic - and to call back if I get home and felt he was feeling worse. He did become worse and I called and the clinic stayed open until I could drive back over. Dr. Webster and all of the staff were concerned not only about my dog but about me as a pet owner. That's what makes them so special. They love their animal clients and their owners as well! I cannot say enough positive things about my experiences there! Read Less

The entire office staff is friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. Dr. Sweet is an excellent diagnostician and obviously loves animals. And, Dr Webster diagnosed a dental condition in one of my cats that required surgical removal rather than routine extraction. He recommended a specialist in that area. Our previous vet simply extracted a "bad" tooth that broke during the procedure. The condition was "feline dental resorption syndrome" and can be very painful to the animal. I bring both of my cats at once and they are treated with utmost understanding and respect. The front office area and examination rooms are always immaculate. I also find the cost reasonable. I can't express the relief I felt this morning when Dr. Webster and team were willing to see my  injured chicken. I had been in tears all last night, and was worried sick that our sweet hen wouldn't make it b/c of large wound from an animal attack. I read online that lots of vets won't bother with chickens, but they were happy to do their best to get her healthy and stitch her up.  They even asked for her name :).  A huge burden was lifted knowing that we had done everything in our power to get her healthy. They were thrilled to have Beverly and even got some snapshots with her. We are new to NC and needed a great veterinary hospital. They had to be exceptional because we don't trust just anyone with our furbabies. The first time meeting Dr. Sweet and the other wonderful people at Hope Crossing we knew we found the right place. Most long time residents of this area remember this location as a dumpy, run down retirement home. I have to admit, curiousity was a factor in my changing veterinarians to Hope Crossing Animal Hospital. That and my dissatisfaction with the other veterinarian clinic I was using. If you see a different doctor or tech each time you visit a clinic, they never get to know your pet. Trust never develops between you and their staff and providers. Neither does your pet develop a relationship and level of comfort with the care givers. HOPE CROSSING ANIMAL HOSPITAL began a few years ago with Dr. Webster as the sole provider and a tiny staff. AND above all, the small group have an incredible connection to the animals. As they have grown and added Dr. Sweet and additional staff, each new addition also seems to have this human - animal connection you just don't see or feel very often. Over time, we have used most of the services offered by HOPE CROSSING ANIMAL HOSPITAL. My lab loves to stay in their Kennel. I love the "doggy spa", bath, pedicure, etc... Superb! The staff there is really amazing and always accessible. They are sensitive, attentive and caring to your needs and the needs of your pet. Tests, treatments are not pushed rather brought to your attention and discussed / prioritized based on your needs and what you are able to do. Dr. Webster and his staff at Hope Crossing are amazing. After a terrorizing attack on my 7yo dachshund I contacted Hope Crossing for advice. Dr. Webster responded (my dog has never been seen by this physician) and advised me as to what I needed to do. He even asked that I contact the office the next day to give an update! Now how many vets will extend that kind of compassion? I did and was amazed that he asked to see him since him just to make sure he was ok. We all know how some vets can be if they aren't their patients they push a lot of unnecessary test and request a full exam. Not true here he checked him out gave him meds and now he back to his old self. Snoopy and my shorkie 'Charlie' have found their 'forever vet'. If you are looking for a physician and staff with compassion, experience, cost within reason, and all around concern for you and your pets, this is definitely the place to go. Would I recommend them?
